Chapter 573 - The Wandering Earth, Humanity Clears the Stage

"Are you saying the colossal dragons picked up Japan and carried the entire landmass into the sky?"

"Based on current data, yes, that is exactly what happened!"

Faced with this utterly absurd situation, the leaders and secretaries exchanged stunned glances, forced to completely restructure their understanding of reality.

Soon, the scientific reconstruction of the event arrived on the desks of the world leaders.

At the critical moment of the Starburst, a life-factor type BDA was utilized, mimicking the structure of the Evil Dragon Satan, transforming into colossal dragons capable of bearing the heavens and the earth.

Two colossal dragons, one on the left and one on the right, split Japan into two halves just before the Starburst hit.

This alteration in geological structure caused a concentrated burst of internal stress within the stellar core, confining the energy release to the canyon created by the split.

Thus, the Starburst energy, which should have been powerful enough to destroy a planet or even a star system, was suppressed, constrained, and radiated out along a specific direction, leaving the outside world unaffected.

After the Starburst concluded, the landmasses temporarily soared in the sky, functioning as satellites...

"According to the researchers' analysis, Dr. Saigō employed a radically new method to control the Starburst."

"Since it was confirmed that the Starburst itself was unpredictable, he simply stopped trying to predict it and instead performed planetary-scale modification." The secretary relayed the researchers' findings, his eyes filled with admiration.

If you can't study it, don't study it. If you can't predict it, don't predict it. Just modify the environment directly.

Although the conditions for the Third Stellar Particle flash-burst within the planet remained uncertain, they could simply move Japan away before the Starburst destroyed it.

If the target is removed beforehand, it cannot be destroyed.

This solution, far exceeding human imagination, could only be described as a miracle created by humanity.

"So this is how he solved it? That's absolutely insane!" The leader was dumbfounded.

He never imagined that the way to counter the End Emptiness and the Starburst was to preemptively trigger the Starburst itself, thereby controlling the scope and scale of the damage. Prevention is often better than cure, but channeling the disaster is certainly wise.

However, the method of execution seemed a bit too simple and brutal. Using planetary modification to mitigate a Starburst—that's not something just anyone can pull off.

"Since this method has been confirmed as viable, we can imitate similar techniques in the future," the secretary summarized.

"The BDAs of the two Third Stellar Particle carriers, Percher and Kasukabe Yō, are not exceptionally unique. Several newly trained Stellar Particle carriers across various nations possess similar powers and should be able to mimic them, transforming into Evil Dragons large enough to carry landmasses."

"As Dr. Saigō mentioned before, this means we can absolutely learn this method of countering the End Emptiness."

If they can replicate the abilities of those two, they could at least carry one or two cities. With enough people, the entire territory of a nation could be easily lifted. If another small-scale Starburst were to occur, they could promptly arrange for the nation's land plates to ascend into the sky.

"Dr. Saigō was right! As long as we can replicate this method, we never have to worry about the End Emptiness again!" the secretary exclaimed, utterly thrilled.

The apocalypse known as the End Emptiness, which had recently weighed heavily on everyone's minds, had finally been overturned.

Human civilization had regained hope and a future—a surprisingly solid future at that.

Only now did he truly understand why Saigō Homura said humanity wouldn't need to worry even if he were gone.

So that was it. As long as the correct path was found, even if the Holy Cross Group collectively vanished, and even if their own leaders stepped down, people would spontaneously pursue this route until complete success was achieved.

Humanity's glorious future was now certain.

Thinking this, the secretary looked down at the documents in his hand, a final doubt lingering in his mind. "The only thing I don't quite understand is, haven't we only successfully dealt with the End Emptiness? The escape plan doesn't seem to have made any progress..."

Hearing this, the leader smiled and shook his head. "You're too young. Can't you see? The core problem of the escape plan has already been solved!"

"Has it?" The secretary shook his head, feigning confusion, then began to ponder. "The crux of the escape plan was the inability to establish a super-massive ecological satellite under current conditions. Solving this problem would incur unimaginable engineering costs... Wait a minute!"

Mid-analysis, the secretary's eyes widened. He looked up at the colossal dragons soaring in the sky, suddenly realizing the truth. "Are you suggesting we take the existing landmasses directly into interstellar space and use them as satellites?!"

Seeing the secretary's delayed but profound shock, the leader offered a slight smile. "Is there any environment with greater mass, or any facility more suitable for ecological system construction, than the Earth's original biosphere?"

There was no need to rebuild an ecosystem from scratch; they could simply move the existing ecosystem from Earth into space.

This plan avoided the massive energy consumption of a "Wandering Earth" scenario while maximizing the integrity of the ecosystem. It was arguably the optimal choice.

"No," the secretary replied blankly, shaking his head.

"Humanity is destined to become an interstellar civilization sooner or later. Why not take the land we live on with us when we leave our mother planet? This is the inevitable path of civilizational development," the leader elaborated confidently.

"The existing landmasses only need an additional protective shield—just one layer of shielding to ensure the satellite environment remains similar to the environment on Earth."

"As for the internal water circulation structure of the ecosystem, the Third Stellar Particles can handle that function."

"Once the material and energy circulation systems are fully established, these satellites will become humanity's true home in the future!"

Hearing the leader's vision, the secretary felt that humanity's future was truly magnificent. He couldn't help but marvel, "All this in just a few minutes. It's unbelievable!"

"Indeed. Even I feel like I might be dreaming right now," the leader sighed. "It seems Dr. Saigō and others put forth an immense effort in ways we couldn't possibly know."
