Rin Tohsaka: "From the known to the unknown... what kind of concept is that? I don't really get it."
Rin Tohsaka: @Shiroyasha.
Rin Tohsaka: @Madoka.
The twin-tailed girl was completely bewildered.
Shiroyasha: "Don't ask me, I don't get it either." The white-haired loli shook her head, indicating she knew nothing...
The only thing she knew for sure was that Su Mo was on a completely different level of power than her.
Madoka: "I don't understand either."
Madoka: "After all, I'm merely at the multiversal level. How could I possibly comprehend Brother Su Mo's realm?"
The pink-haired magical girl also shook her head.
Rin Tohsaka: "Holy cow! Even the strongest among us don't get it?"
The twin-tailed girl finally understood that this was a realm far beyond her comprehension.
March 7th: "Three-Digit, Two-Digit, Single-Digit, Zero-Digit... I'm counting on my fingers here... Does that mean Lord Su Mo is at least two whole tiers stronger than the Aeons from my world?"
The pink-haired ditz was dumbfounded. Thinking back, even an Aeon would be less than a gofer in front of Su Mo.
This patron was so OP it was starting to defy reality.
Faced with everyone's shock, Su Mo remained as calm as ever.
Su Mo: "It's not that hard to understand, really. Powers like the Dragon species and so on are, at their core, all powers from a human perspective."
Su Mo: "Right now, any world with a Human History can become a part of my power. All human-centric cosmologies are my wellspring, but that's also part of my shackles."
Su Mo: "...I can probably reach the true Tier 9. At that point, I wouldn't even need the chat group; worlds would naturally connect to my perception."
From Divinity, to Mythological Cosmology, to Myth, then to Mythological History, Human History, and the Planetary Chronicle...
Su Mo's power progression has always been about delving into the very essence of power.
While others might find it incredible, for Su Mo, reaching this stage was something he had anticipated from the very beginning.
As for why he was currently limited by anthropocentric thinking, it wasn't really a limitation so much as a simple matter of ingrained habit.
Just as someone growing up in a world of Dou Qi would naturally need to master Dou Qi, Su Mo, having grown up in human-centric worlds, naturally developed his own inclinations. Coupled with the fact that he himself was human, this innate imprint was unavoidable.
Shiroyasha: "Su Mo, from the sound of it, you already have a plan for overcoming this final hurdle?"
Shiroyasha stopped squirming in surprise and looked up at Su Mo.
Su Mo: "Of course. It's never been a difficult task, has it?"
Su Mo replied calmly. Seeing her frozen in a daze, he even placed a hand on her shoulder to help her resume her undulating movements.
Shiroyasha: "Uuii!"
Nearly impaled, the white-haired loli let out a cry that was hard to distinguish between surprise and pleasure.
March 7th: "?"
March 7th: "What's wrong with Lady Shiroyasha?"
The pink-haired girl found it a bit strange. Su Mo's words shouldn't have been that surprising to them, right?
Su Mo: "I just need to come into contact with more universes outside the human perspective."
Su Mo's words made March 7th immediately forget Shiroyasha's strange cry.
March 7th: "Outside the human perspective... Isn't that like my universe?!"
Her eyes widened in excitement. She never thought her own weak little world could actually be of value to Su Mo.
Su Mo: "Although your world is still predominantly human-centric, it does have some use."
The world of Star Rail was far less mature in its cosmology compared to the Little Garden, but it had an advantage in its cosmological composition. Although the many species there were still clearly tied to Human History, it still offered a degree of an "alternative perspective."
March 7th: "Yay! You're welcome to come visit often, Lord Su Mo!"
Su Mo: "Alright."
Hearing this, the pink-haired girl cheered.
Rin Tohsaka: "Hiss! Such a natural invitation... March, are you for real or just playing dumb? That's way too dangerous!"
The twin-tailed girl thought this natural airhead was actually a little scary.
March 7th: "Huh?"
The pink-haired girl looked completely lost.
Rin Tohsaka: "Never mind, it's nothing. You do you."
The twin-tailed girl then realized this ditzy kid didn't have a conniving bone in her body. Her actions were completely genuine, which of course made them impossible to counter. With her personality, she could never imitate March 7th. So, she put aside her envy and started asking questions again.
Rin Tohsaka: "By that logic, Lord Su Mo, doesn't that mean our worlds are worthless to you now?" she realized keenly.
Su Mo was progressing so fast that most worlds had lost their appeal for him.
If before Su Mo still needed to study cosmologies through ordinary worlds, he had clearly passed that stage. His Mythological Cosmology was already complete, and he no longer needed to acquire and build models from other worlds.
Didn't that mean that, aside from little March, the other universes were worthless?
Although, to be fair, the worlds of Kanae, Erica, and Jibril had long since been "cleared" by Su Mo.
Su Mo: "It's not so much that they're worthless..."
Rin Tohsaka: "What do you mean?"
The twin-tailed girl blinked, not quite understanding.
Su Mo: "'Graduating' from Human History doesn't mean I no longer need it. It means I have completely mastered the power of Human History."
Su Mo: "In other words, you might not have sensed it yourselves, but..."
Rin Tohsaka: "?!"
Of everyone present, she was probably the only one who was truly shocked.
Because aside from March 7th, her world was the only one that hadn't been explicitly brought under Su Mo's control. For the others, like Kanae and Madoka, Su Mo had long since become the master of their worlds, so there was nothing surprising about it.
Su Mo: "This means that if you were to chant my name right now, I could descend directly into your world without even going through the chat group."
This was the difference between being half-a-step into Tier 9 and his previous state: he now held a sovereign level of control over other worlds. He now truly possessed the ability to traverse the myriad realms without relying on the chat group.
Rin Tohsaka: "Really?! I'll try it!"
The twin-tailed girl's eyes widened, eager to give it a try.
It wasn't that she didn't believe him; she just wanted to use this as an excuse to get close and cuddly with Su Mo.
However, just as she was about to chant Su Mo's name, Shiroyasha suddenly stopped her.
Shiroyasha: "Wait! Not now! At least wait another half... another hour!"
March 7th: "?"
Rin Tohsaka: "?"
Jibril: "?"
Madoka: "Oh, so you're still doing it..."
The pink-haired magical girl's face turned beet red. Those with... experience... could probably guess why Shiroyasha had suddenly said that.
Kanae: "Lady Shiroyasha really likes Lord Su Mo, doesn't she? smirk.jpg"
Shiroyasha: "O-Of course not! I-I'm super strong! It's just measly Su Mo, it's not like—myii, Daddy I was wro—"
Kanae: "D-Daddy? Hiss! Are they into such kinky stuff?"
March 7th: "..."
Erica: "..."
Rin Tohsaka: "..."
Shiroyasha's irrepressible Freudian slip plunged the entire chat group into a sudden silence.
Even the innocent March 7th was speechless for a moment. The twin-tailed girl just blinked blankly.
"I see... So Lord Su Mo is into this kind of play?"
In that instant, the misunderstanding among the group members deepened.
