"What... are you two talking about?"
Listening to their conversation, Yae Miko couldn't understand how the Anemo Archon had changed. This was truly baffling. After all, the succession of gods was no simple matter.
"Well, it's a long story," Venti replied, seeing Yae Miko's confused expression. He then continued, "Let's go somewhere and talk properly."
Since it was rare to see Yae Miko and Wendy, Venti decided to treat them to a meal. Of course, he also naturally craved a few drinks.
"You're definitely planning to drink again, aren't you?" Hearing Venti mention going somewhere to talk, Yae Miko's thoughts immediately drifted to Angel's Share.
"Hehe!" Venti chuckled, seeing that Yae Miko had easily caught on.
"Mondstadt's fine wine? It's been a while since I've had any." A rare hint of nostalgia softened Yae Miko's features upon learning they were going for drinks.
"Stinky fox, talking so pretentiously. You're really good at putting on airs." Unused to Yae Miko's serious tone, Venti couldn't resist a playful jab.
In any case, Venti could tease her all he wanted, but he wouldn't dare do the same to Wendy and Kaito.
"You little brat, you really hold a grudge." Yae Miko had intended to be more cordial with Venti, now that she knew he was the Anemo Archon, but before she could even offer a kind word, he was already teasing her.
"Call me Anemo Archon, stinky fox!"
"Sure, little brat." Smiling at Venti, Yae Miko continued to call him 'little brat.' Despite not knowing the full story of his ascension, Yae Miko wasn't one to be trifled with; she felt compelled to assert herself against this 'brat.'
"Alright, alright, give me some face here. How about we go to Angel's Share for a drink? My treat." Watching the two bicker, Venti felt helpless, wishing they would just show him some respect and stop arguing.
"Do you really have money, Venti?" Wendy asked, skeptical of Venti's offer to treat. After all, he was known for spending any Mora he acquired on wine; she doubted he'd have much left over for a round.
"Don't look at me like that, Wendy. Of course I have money. At most, I'll just put it on Diluc's tab." Faced with Wendy's doubtful gaze, Venti winced slightly. With two additional people to treat, he wasn't entirely confident his funds would suffice.
"It's fine, I have some here." Noticing Venti's sudden lack of confidence, Yae Miko gracefully offered to pay. After all, Venti was an ancient god, and she felt it only proper to show him respect.
"In that case, let's go." With Yae Miko's help, Venti's confidence returned. He knew this time, a tab wouldn't be necessary.
Afterward, the trio made their way to the entrance of Mondstadt.
'I wonder if I can rest early today...' Arriving at the city gate, Kaeya thought, looking at the darkening sky.
The onset of darkness often brought out trouble, and Kaeya hoped for a quiet night.
Just as he was about to turn back into the city, the sound of footsteps approaching from the bridge made him pause.
"Isn't that the..."
"Hmm?"
"Anemo Archon?!"
"The Anemo Archon is back?!"
His eyes widened as he recognized the figures approaching the city gate: the long-unseen Anemo Archon.
Not long ago, the Knights of Favonius had received unsettling news from Liyue: their Anemo Archon had vanished.
This had deeply distressed Acting Grand Master Jean, who feared the Anemo Archon had once again vanished without a trace.
Their efforts to track him, however, proved fruitless; his whereabouts remained a mystery.
"It's Captain Kaeya." Seeing Kaeya, Venti greeted him, then gestured to Yae Miko behind him, introducing her. "This is Miss Yae Miko, she's from Inazuma, and... well, Miss Wendy doesn't need an introduction."
"Hello, Captain Kaeya." Since this wasn't an official visit, Yae Miko didn't intend to reveal her official position.
"So it's Miss Yae Miko. I hope Mondstadt leaves a good impression on you." Kaeya truly wanted to speak with the Anemo Archon, but this wasn't the right place.
"Then we won't disturb you any longer, Captain Kaeya. We're going to the tavern for a drink." After saying this, Venti led Yae Miko and Wendy towards Angel's Share.
'Inazuma?' Kaeya couldn't help but wonder as he watched their departing figures. 'So the Anemo Archon went to Inazuma?'
But now wasn't the time for him to ponder. He had to quickly inform the Acting Grand Master of the Anemo Archon's appearance.
Afterward, Kaeya quickly walked towards the Knights of Favonius Headquarters.

"Acting Grand Master, it's me."
"Come in, Kaeya." Looking up at the doorway, Jean, who was busy with various official matters, let Kaeya in.
"Acting Grand Master, I have good news." As soon as he entered, Kaeya couldn't wait to deliver his tidings.
"Good news? What good news?" Jean's gaze, which had been lowered, rose again at Kaeya's words. She wanted to know what this news was about.
"The Anemo Archon is back." Under Jean's gaze, Kaeya revealed his good news.
"What?!" Hearing Kaeya's good news, Jean was so shocked she stood up from her seat.
"The Anemo Archon is back?!"
Not long ago, after receiving news from Liyue that the Anemo Archon had disappeared, Jean had been tirelessly trying to find him again.
But her efforts had been fruitless.
So now, hearing that the Anemo Archon was back, she was extremely excited.
"Then where is the Anemo Archon? Where is he?" Coming before Kaeya, Jean wanted to know his current whereabouts and why she hadn't seen him.
"The Anemo Archon is currently drinking with a poet and a miko from Inazuma at Angel's Share." Under Jean's expectant gaze, Kaeya told her where the Anemo Archon was now.
"Angel's Share?" Hearing this, Jean thought for a moment. Then she instructed, "Kaeya, head to the tavern. Once the Anemo Archon is done drinking, report back to me."
"Understood, Acting Grand Master." After nodding, Kaeya walked out.
