Synopsis
In Valahia, the fragile peace established by the Great Pact between humans and dark creatures begins to falter. In the shadows of dense forests and forgotten valleys, unseen forces lurk at every corner, and danger never sleeps. The hunter-monk Ioh discovers two abandoned infants, victims of a destiny tightly bound to the oldest and most perilous secrets of the world. Protecting them from merciless vampires and savage werewolves, he embarks on a path fraught with traps, betrayals, and mysteries—where every step could be his last. But the twins are no ordinary children: their fate is entwined with the fragile balance between light and darkness, and the shadows hunting them know no rest. The fate of Valahia hangs in the balance, with dreadful shadows gathering, ready to engulf it in blood, terror, and endless destruction. In a world where alliances break and ancient secrets burn like embers, every choice can be a sentence... or the only hope for survival.

Chapter 1 - Prologue – “Premonition”

They say that in a single night you can change the fate of the world… but in that same night, you can also cast it into ruin.

Twenty years have passed since the Great Pact, and the fragile balance that once upheld peace now begins to crumble. With it, the shadows of slaughter draw near, for the Four Chains have broken the oath they had sworn in blood.

A prophecy, spoken from the burnt lips of a witch lost in the flames, foretells:

"Blood will flow that shall break the oath and bring fire upon the night – and only the Titans shall have the power to bring peace once more."

These words have traveled across the kingdoms and reached the ears of the Chieftains of the Four Chains, who now, with fear and desperation, seek by any means to delay their end.

"But who are the Titans?

And who truly hides behind the Chieftains?"

The answers lie somewhere, hidden in the shadows of the night. And those who know them… are ever fewer, and ever closer to death
