"Please revive Elder Kaiō Shin! I beg of you, Shenron!" Son Goku made his wish to the Eternal Dragon.

Shenron's eyes glowed red, and in his deep, resonant voice, he replied: "Your wish is a simple one…"

Before he could finish, Trunks suddenly flew into the sky, locking eyes with the dragon.

"Wait a moment!" Trunks interrupted Shenron's spellcasting.

Everyone looked at Trunks in confusion. He was the one who had suggested this plan, so why was he the one stopping it?

"Trunks, is there a problem?" Gohan asked, puzzled.

Trunks shook his head and explained: "We do want to bring Goku Ojisan back, yes, but before that… I think there's someone else who should be revived first."

The entire group fell silent.

Then, the clever Piccolo suddenly seemed to realize something. He snapped his head up.

"Don't tell me… Trunks, you mean…?!"

Seeing Piccolo's reaction, Trunks smiled with satisfaction. As expected of Piccolo, so sharp and perceptive.

Their cryptic exchange only confused the others further, especially Goku, who looked utterly lost.

"Huh? Trunks? Piccolo? What are you talking about?" Goku asked, blinking.

Piccolo quickly clarified: "What Trunks means… is probably to revive Moori, the Grand Elder of Namek. If we revive Elder Moori, then the Namekian Dragon Balls will be restored too. That way, we can use Porunga to continue making more wishes."

As expected, Piccolo's intellect shone through, and everyone immediately understood without needing further explanation.

"That's exactly what Uncle Piccolo said," Trunks grinned, giving Piccolo a thumbs-up.

He floated over to Shenron and said: "Then Shenron, please revive Elder Moori of Namek!"

Shenron's crimson eyes flared with light, and soon his heavy voice echoed again: "I'm sorry. Your wish cannot be granted. Moori has been dead for many years. As I am now, I do not possess the power to revive him."

Since Dende had never become the Guardian of Earth in this timeline, the Earth Dragon Balls had never been upgraded.

At this, the group once again fell into silence.

"Uh, Lord Kibito! Come with me for a bit!" Trunks grabbed Kibito, and the two disappeared on the spot.

Just one second later, they reappeared, bringing along an elderly figure.

Piccolo's face immediately sank. Because the one Trunks had brought back wasn't anyone else, it was the old Kami himself.

"I think… if it's Kami Sama, you should be able to upgrade Shenron, right?" Trunks asked.

Looking up at the dragon coiled high above in the sky, the old Kami slowly closed his eyes. At that moment, a wave of divine energy flowed from him, into Shenron's body.

"T-The Kami Sama… are you giving me power?" Shenron no longer spoke with the aloof tone he had moments before.

The old Kami nodded gently and said: "Yes. I'm old. This is all I can do now. You may now grant their wish."

Once more, Shenron's glowing red eyes lit up. He then addressed everyone below:

"Your wish has been granted. Farewell, Kami Sama."

With that, Shenron flew back into the seven Dragon Balls and began traveling toward Earth. At that moment, Trunks leapt into the air and gathered the Dragon Balls into his arms.

Far away, in the depths of space, on New Namek, an old man suddenly appeared amid the ruined landscape.

It was Elder Moori. He looked around, confused, he clearly remembered being in Heaven, yet in the blink of an eye, he was alive again.

Whoosh----!

Two figures descended onto New Namek at incredible speed. Elder Moori stared at the two of them. A powerful sense of pressure swept over him, causing Moori to instinctively turn around. He saw Kibito and Trunks walking toward him.

"You are…?" Moori asked.

Kibito introduced himself, "I am the servant of the Kaiōshin, currently training as a Supreme Kai. This is Trunks, he's the one who had Shenron revive you."

Trunks waved to Elder Moori and said: "Elder Moori, I assume you've heard about the recent chaos even in the afterlife."

"We've managed to resolve the crisis, but now, we need your help."

Elder Moori relaxed; he already understood their purpose.

"You mean… to use Porunga, right?"

Trunks smiled knowingly. Elder Moori really was as sharp as they said.

"Yes, Elder Moori. But… I also have one more request."

Both Moori and Kibito looked puzzled. Moori asked: "And what request would that be?"

"Please upgrade the Namekian Dragon Balls!" Trunks said bluntly.

That was the real reason he had come here. While the Namekian Dragon Balls could grant three wishes, they still couldn't revive multiple people at once. If upgraded, mass revival would be possible.

Elder Moori stroked his beard and then walked back into his house.

A moment later, he emerged carrying seven large Dragon Balls.

The seven Dragon Balls had regained their luster and shone brilliantly. The reason they were all together was that Cooler had once forced the Namekians to collect them.

Moori placed both hands over the Dragon Balls, and a strange, flowing light emitted from his palms. The power of the Namekian Dragon Balls surged in that instant.

A short while later, Moori said, "They've been upgraded; it should be ready now."

"Come forth, Porunga!" Moori shouted in Namekian.

Zzzt Zzzt---!

Golden light struck the seven Dragon Balls, and accompanied by crackling lightning, the great dragon Porunga emerged upon the land.

Looking up at the towering dragon, Trunks couldn't help but feel excited.

"Then, Elder Moori, please revive all the Namekians who were killed by Cooler!"

This first wish caught Moori off guard; he hadn't expected Trunks to make such a wish.

Porunga blinked once, and instantly, all the Namekians who had been killed by Cooler were revived.

"For the second wish, please bring Elder Kaiōshin back to life!"

As soon as Trunks spoke, Moori repeated the wish, and Elder Kaiōshin was revived once more. Back in the Kaiō God Realm, the Elder Kaiōshin again gave up his life energy, this time, to revive Son Goku.

At long last, Goku's wish came true, he was brought back to life. The halo above his head disappeared at that moment, and reappeared over the Elder Kaiōshin's.

The old man was absolutely furious, now stuck with a glowing halo over his head. As a god, having a dead man's halo was nothing short of disgraceful.

"Hmph. So you're revived again, and I'm dead... again." The Elder Kaiōshin grumbled with a pout, clearly annoyed.

Goku scratched his head and said sheepishly: "Hehe… Elder Kaiōshin, Porunga can grant three wishes, and he can revive people without limit."

"So then, let's use the third wish to bring you back again!"

With that, Goku used Instant Transmission to appear beside Trunks and Kibito.

The third and final wish was ultimately used to revive the Elder Kaiōshin once more.
