With the barrier shattered, a spiraling light appeared before Z Broly, immediately catching his attention. His heart jolted with excitement as he stared straight at it. Unable to wait any longer, he reached out without hesitation and touched the light.
His hand sank into it. He pushed his other hand through, followed by his head, and finally his entire body.
The next moment, Z Broly found himself in a completely unfamiliar place. Green stretched as far as the eye could see; he had entered the grassland module.
Z Broly was thrilled, his mind and eyes immediately set on one thing: finding Super Broly.
And yes, his eyes were actually focused.
Compared to before, Z Broly had changed quite a bit. After his training in the Space Prison, his emotions were far more stable than they once were. Most of the credit went to Vados, who had personally trained him.
Before Z Broly arrived in Universe 6, the Saiyans there didn't even know transformations were possible. That changed when Z Broly, refusing to submit to Champa's authority, transformed into a Legendary Super Saiyan right in front of them. At Champa's request, Vados began training him afterward.
That was why Z Broly could now keep his emotions under control instead of acting like a lunatic who did nothing but scream "Kakarot!"
Still, Vados had only shown him the path. The person who truly helped him stabilize his temperament was someone else: the Prince of the Universe 6 Saiyans, Sarada.
By repeatedly watching Z Broly transform, Sarada eventually figured out the secret behind Super Saiyan on his own and successfully achieved the transformation. His Super Saiyan form was also stronger than that of an ordinary Super Saiyan. There was another Universe 6 Saiyan who shared similar traits: Sarada's younger sister, Kale.
Through countless battles with Z Broly, Sarada gradually learned how to deal with him, and those repeated clashes helped stabilize Z Broly's state of mind.
More importantly, there was no Son Goku in Universe 6. No Kakarot. Without the person most likely to trigger him around, Z Broly's emotions naturally became much easier to control.
…
The vast grassland stretched endlessly like a green ocean. A gentle breeze swept across it, sending waves through the tall grass. Z Broly stood in the middle of the plain, his sharp eyes sweeping over every inch of his surroundings like a scanner.
Unfortunately, even after searching carefully, there was no sign of Super Broly. Instead, several unfamiliar figures suddenly entered his field of vision.
They were fighters from different universes who had just been locked in a fierce battle against one another. But the moment Z Broly appeared, every single one of them stopped and turned toward him.
One fighter stood out in particular. He had a narrow, monkey-like face, messy brown hair sticking up in all directions, and strange green skin. From a distance, he almost looked like some mythical thunder deity. At that moment, he was staring at Z Broly in absolute terror, his mouth hanging open and his entire body frozen in shock.
The overwhelming energy radiating from Z Broly had completely intimidated him; he couldn't even form a proper sentence. The fighter was Hamira from Universe 2. Sweat covered his forehead, large beads rolling continuously down his cheeks.
Faced with Z Broly's sudden appearance and unfathomable strength, Hamira felt a chill run straight up his spine and spread through his entire body. He couldn't stop himself from trembling.
'What… what the hell is going on? When did this guy even show up? How did I not notice him at all?!'
The words spun around inside Hamira's head, but fear kept them trapped in his throat.
He glanced behind him toward another fighter who looked like a giant red ball of flesh. That was Prum, also from Universe 2, and he looked just as confused.
Meanwhile, Maji-Kayo, who had just been fighting the two Universe 2 warriors, was equally tense and disoriented by the sudden interruption. The Universe 3 fighter was a modified life-form whose entire body possessed liquid-like properties, giving him a unique advantage in battle.
Just moments earlier, Maji-Kayo had been comfortably fighting both opponents at once, his body shifting fluidly between liquid and solid as he fought, every strike carrying both the flexibility of water and surprising power. He had been completely absorbed in the fight when Z Broly's sudden appearance drew his attention away.
The moment Z Broly arrived, the atmosphere across the grassland seemed to freeze. Then, a strange noise rang out behind him.
'CRACK!'
Everyone turned toward the sound. A swirling vortex had appeared behind Z Broly, releasing a tremendous suction force that dragged everything around it toward the center, like a massive black hole devouring its surroundings.
And yet, strangely enough, Z Broly remained completely unaffected. That alone was enough to show just how powerful this newcomer was.
Confusion filled Maji-Kayo's eyes. Then, almost by accident, his gaze met Z Broly's. Z Broly flashed him a vicious grin, baring his teeth.
Maji-Kayo's heart tightened. He sucked in a sharp breath as an uncomfortable chill ran through his body. Instinctively, he went on guard, keeping his eyes locked firmly on Z Broly.
And then, Z Broly was gone.
Maji-Kayo froze. He hadn't looked away for even a second; he had been watching Z Broly carefully, ready for whatever move the huge Saiyan made next. Yet somehow, Z Broly had vanished right before his eyes. He had completely lost track of him.
WHOOSH!
A massive green figure suddenly filled his entire field of vision. Z Broly had appeared directly in front of him without the slightest warning.
Maji-Kayo trembled as he slowly raised his head. It was the same hulking fighter from before, still wearing that wicked grin.
'SPLASH!'
A strange sound came from Maji-Kayo's body. He looked down, a fist was buried deep inside his torso, and that fist belonged to the grinning monster standing in front of him.
'So fast!' That was Maji-Kayo's first thought.
Fortunately, his body was special. Having merged completely with liquid, ordinary physical attacks couldn't hurt him. Z Broly's fist might have penetrated his body, but it had caused no actual damage; the splashing sound had simply come from his liquid body swallowing Z Broly's arm.
A smug smile slowly appeared on Maji-Kayo's face.
"Hey, big guy. You came out of that vortex behind you, didn't you?" He raised his voice. "I'll admit, your entrance surprised me. And you attacked me without even saying a word."
His grin widened. "But honestly? I'm not impressed. You can't hurt me."
Z Broly said nothing. The silence became awkward.
Not far away, the two Universe 2 fighters immediately settled in to watch the show. Hamira leaned toward Prum. "Once those two wear each other out, that's when we move."
Prum nodded. "Exactly. We each take one and throw them out of the arena. Easy win."
The two quickly came to an agreement.
Unfortunately for them, things didn't go the way they expected.
Without warning, Maji-Kayo's blue liquid body began changing. A faint, almost dreamlike green glow suddenly appeared inside him, and at the same time, the smug expression on his face disappeared. His entire face darkened.
Something was wrong.
Maji-Kayo suddenly looked down, his eyes widening. A mass of burning energy was raging inside his body. The terrifying heat spread through his liquid form, evaporating him from within.
Fear instantly overwhelmed him. Driven by pure survival instinct, Maji-Kayo began thrashing wildly, his once-fluid movements turning frantic and uncontrolled as he desperately tried to shake off the energy lodged inside him.
It was useless. The Energy Blast had embedded itself deep within his body. No matter how violently Maji-Kayo twisted, stretched, or struggled, he couldn't dislodge it.
Second by second, his condition grew worse. His body became increasingly transparent, like a block of ice slowly melting away. The deep blue liquid that made up his body gradually turned a strange pale green under the Energy Blast's influence, and the heat kept rising. It felt as though his entire body was being swallowed by flames.
Maji-Kayo's heart sank as a terrible realization finally hit him. He stared at the hulking Saiyan in front of him, eyes wide with terror.
"No… no way…" His voice trembled. "This guy… he didn't come here to fight."
"He came here to kill."
