I was feeling terrified, and it showed on my face and body.. Fuck!! I didn't expect him to move so quickly. What the hell is he planning? I knew blocking him was not the end of this misery. But I didn't think he had more than one sim card. He used two different numbers just to contact me. That creep!

"P-police…" I said repeatedly while trying to dial their number. My breathing is heavy. It feels like having a heart attack.
["Good Evening, how can I help you?"] Asked the Police Officer. Relax, it's going to be okay.
"I would like to report about …" I paused for a second. What should I say? Stalking? Kidnapping? Ugh! My head hurts so much, I couldn't think straight. All because of that man! It's all his fault!
["Yes?"]
"Stalking… There's this person who is stalking me,'' I said, trying to calm my voice.
["How and since when that person stalked you?"] I told the police everything he needed to hear, he asked me a lot of questions. And after almost a decade, he finished his questioning. I felt like I had just been interrogated. But I was relieved somehow, at least someone knows my sitauation now..
["Alright, thank you. Please tell me your address. We'll get there before tomorrow morning."] I signed in relief, thank goodness. It feels like someone has pulled a thorn out of my chest somehow.

My phone beat after two seconds. I let out a little laugh. He's probably on his phone the whole time. I chuckled as I read his reply.

I can imagine his face right now. He's the best brother ever! I smiled and put my phone on the table. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep.
The next morning, I woke up to the sound of my cell phone..
"Hmm.." I rubbed my eyes and got my phone. I check the time, and it was already 5 A. M in the morning. So glad I slept somehow. I got up and answered the call.
["This is Officer Brian. We talked last night. Sorry for calling you early in the morning. We're already outside your building. We will update you if we see someone suspicious. If you have time, I request to meet you in person."]
"Oh, no! It's alright, Officer. I will go there. Please give me a minute. Thank you so much!"
["Alright, thank you."] He ended the call. I started getting ready too, and after a few minutes, I was done.
I opened my door and went outside my room. I'm afraid to use the elevator anymore. Those dark memories took a toll on me. But I have no choice today. I must hurry. I took a deep breath and started pressing the button. I bit my lower lips, and I kept playing with my hands. Jeez, these old habits of mine..
"It's okay,'' I said to myself, trying to breathe properly.
After several minutes, I was finally outside. I kept looking around, trying to find them, and finally saw Officer Brian waving at me. I hurriedly went to where they were. There's not many people since it's still early. I ran towards them and greeted the officers.
"Hello, this is Officer Kyle, Harry and William." Officer Brian introduced them.
"Hello, officers." I said as I bowed and we all shook hands.
I feel safe now that I have them with me. I hope everything will turn out well. I wish we could arrest him fast, but we need evidence to do that. But still, I told them everything, starting with how I met him and how he kidnapped and threatened me.
The officer asked me to send the screenshots, and they started investigating it. Thank goodness, the last police officer I talked to was different from them. Maybe because they are on different branches? But still, those officers didn't look like they cared about people asking them for help. They looked even more irritated last time. I gave the officers a faint smile.
They asked me more questions related to the case. We waited until 9 A. M but we didn't see any suspicious people..
"Let's have breakfast first. I'm sure you must be hungry," Officer William suggested.
Do we have time to eat? What if he comes and we lose him? Then everything goes in vain.
"Don't worry too much. We're here with you." Officer Harry reassured me. I looked at them and Officer Brian gave me a reassuring smile. He patted my arm and told us to go for now. I sighed and just nodded in defeat.
Why do I feel like something will go wrong? Damn! I just hope my insticts are wrong this time..
"What do you want to order, Miss Mitsuki?" Officer William asked. My attention turned to the officer, I smiled a little as I checked the menu and looked for something to order.
"I think I will go with carbonara," I said.
"Alright."
After we got our food, we sat near the window and we all started eating.
"Do you recognize his face?" Officer Kyle asks. I stopped eating for a second, I looked at him and nodded.
"Yes," I answered, and the officer also nodded.
"That's good. We will be able to do a composite drawing," Officer Brian added. I let out a sigh of relief, and they all gave me a soft smile. They really care about people, and I can tell that they're willing to help me. That made me happy and less nervous. At least I'm not alone anymore. Though I said that I should fight him by myself, help is help. I can't waste that and have more regrets.
As we finished our food, we decided to leave, but then I heard Officer Brian call someone. "Adams." I didn't mind looking at them. I just checked my inbox and saw Kaito's message. I opened it and read.
'What are you doing? Where are you? Are you okay? Should I call you?'
The last message didn't even look like he was asking. I was about to reply, but his name popped up. I put my phone to my ear and answered the call.
"I'm okay, don't worry. Aren't you busy with work?" I asked jokingly.
["Busy, but I can't stop thinking about you."]
"Haha, just right now, you act like my lover. You should stop doing that hobby of yours."] I joke again, hoping he loosens up a bit. He always sounds so tense every time we talk on the phone.
["Shut up and tell me if everything is okay?"]
"Yes, I'm okay. I wouldn't be able to talk to you if I was not, right?"
["Dude, we have to go now."] I heard on the other call.
["Just a minute, Wil."] He sounds annoyed.
"Just go... It must be important. Go and we'll talk next time."
["No. They can wai-"] He couldn't finish his words as I cut him off. He's so stubborn.
"It's okay, just go to your meeting or something. I'm good, really." I assured him, so he wouldn't worry too much.
["Fine. Keep safe, I'll call you again."]
"Hmm. Okay!" I said as I looked at my phone. I let out a small chuckle as I saw his name. He was waiting for me to end the call, so I did.
I'm so worried about him. I hope that I'm doing the right thing...
"Who's that?" Ah! Officer, you startled me.
"It's my brother," I answered, and went back to my seat. He was about to ask me another question, but I spoke before he could open his mouth.
"Oh, where are they?" I asked. He looked around and pointed in their direction. I followed his gaze and saw officers Brian, Kyle, and Harry outside.
"Who is that person, Officer William?" I asked him, looking at the man they were talking with. He took a sip of his drink and gave me a soft smile before he spoke.
"That man is Adams, he's really a good guy, he helps us a lot in our cases, he's younger, but we all become friends, haha. He is close with us, especially with Officer Brian."
"Oh, wow! That's really nice, Officer. But why aren't you going there?" He laughed and took another sip of his drink.
"You haven't heard us, I see."
"Ah! Hehe. Sorry." I said awkwardly.
"We can't just leave you alone here, can we? And so I decided to stay with you. They're coming back, anyway. Let's just wait for them." I just nodded, and both of us waited for them.
A few minutes later.. They are back.
"Hey, sorry for the wait."
"It's okay, Officer."
"Let's go." Officer Harry paid for our food and we all went outside.
"We'll continue our search. Miss Mitsuki should stay with us in the car, so we can protect you, just in case," Officer Brian said.
"Thank you so much, officers..." I'm just so glad that they are helping me.
After a few more walks, we got back from the building.
"Adams?" Officer William called. I looked at the man named Adams. I didn't notice earlier, but his back looked familiar for some reason. It seems that Adams didn't hear the officer. So he ran towards the guy, and we all just followed him.
"Hey!" The officer put his arm on his shoulder and the man turned around. He was wearing a cap and jacket, so I didn't clearly see his face. They hugged each other, and I also heard them laugh.
"Wait, a minute." Officer Harry said to me. I just nodded and waited for them in the car. Aren't we wasting our time? What if Flint was already here and just waiting to attack? I will die! Ack! No, he can't do anything as long as I'm with the officers.
It's been almost 20 minutes... and they're not back yet.
"What's taking them so long?" I said, a bit irritated. I clicked my tongue and checked the time again.
"Sorry for the wait!' Ah, finally. I faked a smile and spoke.
"It's alright, sir."
"Let me introduce you to our friend. He might be able to help us. Adams, come on here." The good guy Sir William is talking about. I couldn't help but smile a bit. This is really a big help for me.
"Mitsuki, this is Adams. And Adams, this is Mitsuki." I stood up straight and bowed a little.
"Hello, sir." I greeted him, waiting for him to greet me back, so I could see his face.
