Chapter 1 - Goodbye

The final whistle has blown in Estadio Major Antonio Couto Pereira for the match between FC Coritiba and FC Goias to an end, and it ended in a 2:0 win for Coritiba. 

Gabriel Silver on the score sheet again with a goal and an assist, and won the MOTM of the match. As the final match of Gabriel Silver for FC Coritiba.

He dedicated the goal to the fans for their wonderful support throughout his two seasons with the team. To him, the fans played a very crucial role in his successful time at FC Coritiba. 

Although at the beginning of his first season, he wasn't good enough to start but the coach and fans trusted in him and also made him a starter which helped him to build a lot of confidence. 

After the last match of the season of Gabriel Silver, He gave his goodbye message to the fans. He waved his hand and clapped for the fans.

Gabriel Silver will be joining Palmaires on a permanent deal as his first professional contract to continue his career.

He thanked the fans for their support for supporting him from the day he joined the team. The fans shed tears and clapped their hands for him. Showing how they enjoyed him in the team. 

The fans were worried about the departure of Gabriel Silver, where will they get his type of player who has a lot of potential and can detect play when the Match becomes tough. 

The fans wish they could keep Gabriel but they do not have the power. The team too is financially unstable and needs money to be able to balance their books to be free of financial fair play.

He hugged the players one after the other. The players clapped for him and were happy for him for joining a new club that is bigger than Coritiba FC..

The players knew that he would surely leave the club because of the kind of talent he possesses.

All the Coritiba fans in the stadium were wearing his jersey written the on the number 46 NOSSO HEROI, which is in Portuguese meaning OUR HERO.

Some were holding banners written on them, "We will miss you" a lot, and also asked for his Jersey.

The coach hugged him and beat him on the back and whispered to him, wishing him the best of luck as he moved to his new club.

Coach Mozart knew he would get Gabriel's replacement but he would not be as good as Gabriel. It was a big worry for the coach.

Mozart was happy for Gabriel, because he knew what in Gabriel and what Gabriel could do on a pitch Since Gabriel joined Coritiba he has been having a fine season in Coritiba. 

Gabriel wasn't happy about leaving the club and his wonderful fans in Coritiba FC and join a different club, but he knew what he wanted to do in football, so he had to leave and join his new club. 

Gabriel wished to win a trophy for Coritiba and qualify them for the Copa Libertadores but he couldn't do it for them. But not being able to do that he needs to join a balanced team which will be able to compete at the highest level, such as winning the league and playing in the Copa Libertadores(Champions League ), to be able to sell himself for a national team call-up. 

He also wants to sell himself to the big clubs in Europe such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and other clubs across the world.

His dream is to play for one of the big clubs in Europe to achieve everything in football including the Ballon d'Or, and the World Cup

He joined the team when he was 14 years old. He played two seasons for Coritiba FC. (2023/2024, 2024/2025). He set records for himself and the team. 

He was the youngest player to ever play for the team. He led the team to the top four of the Brasileiro Serie A for many years, scoring 30 goals and 20 assists in a season, which is 50 goals involvement. He became the youngest top scorer of Coritiba and in the Serie A as a whole. His numbers were insane, he is the third player to score more goals in a single season.

Looking at the stats above, no player has scored more than 28 goals for the past two decades, Gabriel reaching 30 goals shows how good he is as a teenager and attacking midfielder. He will be a player to watch out for in the 2025/2026 season

He was voted as the best player of the season, He is the youngest player to ever win the best player of the season. 

The exit of Gabriel Silver is a big blow to the team. They may buy a player as a replacement, but he will not be able to play like Gabriel Silver. 

Aside from affecting the team on the field, they will also lose funds from selling his Jersey, because Gabriel Silver's Jersey was the most popular and most bought Jersey in the season, which generated a lot of revenue for the club. 

The club got some sponsors because of the young talented kid, and may not extend the contract after expired due to the low sales of the Jersey in the season ahead. 

Everything was over in the Estadio Major Antonio Couto Pereira, and Gabriel Silver was set to join his new club (Palmaires) and was also waiting for what the future held for him. 

The boy has built a lot of confidence in FC Coritiba and can't wait to start the pre-season with the Palmaires. He just wanted the two-week holiday to come to an end for him meet his new players and the coach. 

He will be experiencing a new environment outside his hometown Curitiba and a new challenge in São Paulo. 

Unlike his time at FC Coritiba as the main man, he will be in tough competition in the team, which will help him prove to everyone that it wasn't hype but he has the talent in him.
