Was there a way to decline this sort of request respectfully? I stared at Charmaine who wouldn't take another step into my room, her cold purple eyes held mine as though she was certain I couldn't win this battle.
"Rather than your words being respectful, it almost seems as though you're mocking me" I started walking towards where she stood. Her eyes roamed around the room as though she was avoiding my gaze.
It just made her seem cute? And Charmaine, was one hell of a challenge. I stood in front of her, our bodies just few feets away from each other.
