Chapter 17 - Chapter 14 : The Long-Awaited Date

A week passed swiftly for Akg and Shizuka. During that time, their relationship deepened, and Shizuka's favorability level toward Akg had risen to 90. They had become closer than ever, and Akg had even received full approval from Shizuka's mother, Yukki, who now looked at him as a dependable young man worthy of her daughter.

With Sunday approaching—the day of his first official date with Shizuka—Akg could barely contain his excitement. As he lay on his bed the night before, he thought about the places they might visit and how he could make their time together unforgettable.

On the other side of town, Shizuka was equally excited. She stood in front of the mirror, holding up various dresses and trying to decide which one would impress Akg the most. After several changes, she finally chose a stunning red dress that highlighted her graceful figure. As she admired herself in the mirror, her mother Yukki entered the room.

"My, my, Shizuka, you look stunning," Yukki teased, leaning against the doorframe with a knowing smile. "Planning to steal Akg's heart completely, huh?"

"M-Mom!" Shizuka replied, flustered, her cheeks turning crimson. "I just want to look nice... it's our first date, after all."

"Don't worry, dear. With how that boy looks at you, I'm sure he'll be speechless," Yukki chuckled.

The next morning, Akg woke up early, took a long shower, and dressed in a crisp shirt and black slacks. His hair was neatly styled, and he looked more like a model than a high school student. After checking himself one last time in the mirror, he left the house, making his way to the fountain where he and Shizuka had agreed to meet.

The day was bright and clear, a perfect backdrop for their date. Birds chirped in the trees as couples and families strolled through the park. Akg reached the fountain first and waited with anticipation. Minutes felt like hours until he finally saw her.

Shizuka walked toward him, her red dress flowing with each graceful step. The sun seemed to shine just for her, casting a soft glow on her smooth, fair skin. Her hair was tied back with a ribbon that matched her dress, and she carried a small purse.

Akg's breath caught in his throat. She was even more beautiful than he had imagined.

Shizuka reached him with a slightly apologetic smile. "Sorry, Akg, I got a little late."

Akg shook his head, smiling warmly. "No, Shizuka, I just got here myself. You're not late at all."

Without hesitation, he leaned in and kissed her cherry-red lips softly. Shizuka's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly responded, kissing him back with affection.

After their sweet kiss near the fountain, both Akg and Sizuka blushed slightly, smiling warmly at each other. Sizuka's hand slipped naturally into Akg's as he gently held it, the softness of her fingers making his heart beat faster.

Akg smiled and asked, "So, Sizuka, where do you want to go first? I've planned a few surprises… but I want today to be special for you."

Sizuka giggled softly and replied, "Anywhere with you is special, Akg… but I'm curious about those surprises."

Their first stop was the town's famous flower garden, a place filled with blooming roses, tulips, and rare seasonal flowers. Sizuka's eyes widened in delight at the vibrant colors and sweet fragrance in the air.

"Wow, Akg! This place is beautiful!" she said, twirling once in excitement, her red dress flowing gracefully.

Akg took out his phone and said, "Let's take a picture together. I want to remember this day forever."

They took several pictures, laughing and making cute poses, and then sat on a bench surrounded by blossoms. As butterflies fluttered nearby, Akg gently placed a flower in Sizuka's hair and whispered, "It suits you perfectly."

Sizuka blushed deeply, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Next, Akg took Sizuka to a cozy riverside café he had reserved in advance. The view of the flowing water, shaded by willow trees, created a romantic atmosphere. The waiter brought out their favorite dishes, and they enjoyed the peaceful moment.

As the sun began to set, Akg led Sizuka to a small amusement park nearby. Their final stop was the Ferris wheel, where Akg had reserved a private cabin.

As they ascended, the sky turned golden-orange, and Sizuka gazed out in awe. "The view… it's magical."

Akg nodded and gently took her hand. "Not as magical as being here with you."

As the Ferris wheel reached the top, he pulled out a small charm – a necklace with a tiny heart-shaped pendant. "For you, Sizuka… to remember today and… us."

Sizuka's eyes glistened. She softly kissed him again, this time longer and more deeply, under the golden sky.

As the ride descended, both of them felt their bond grow even stronger — hearts beating in sync, souls quietly promising to cherish each other always.
