This being got named by Velzard, in doing so he gained her protection. He will continue to grow while the world seeks to endanger his family . Story: I am a True Dragon.

Disclaimer: I own nothing except my original characters.

They said the universe came into existence with a bang, they were certainly right.

Scientists believe there wasn't a single God, they didn't know how wrong they were.In fact, the entire world they resided in was living on the mercy of these very gods.

Truly ignorance was the greatest blessing on mankind. If they came to know how many catastrophes lived right outside their dimension they would simply kill themself in despair. No amount of preparation was enough in front of absolute might.

I too, had learned this lesson. A little late, I would admit, but nonetheless, I am glad I had.

Time truly is cruel, even to the strongest of beings.

Darkness— a word he never pondered on. But, now he lives or is existing the right word in this eternal darkness. He remembered nothing before coming here, just some unknown feelings that don't even make sense. But here he was now, standing here with his strange glowing body and without a single piece of clothing on his being.

'Where am I?'

There was no need to breathe here. The surroundings around him were in constant state, never changing. Only eternal darkness and no living being to talk to.

'I truly wish I had a companion here to help me in this everlasting hell.'

As the darkness he faded around him, he found himself in some kind of grassland.

In the beginning, there was nothing in the entire existence.

Only his spirit.

He had no desires, only boredom was his companion.

For some time, probably longer than he ever realized, he simply drifted among the void. That was until a spark ignited in his very soul which gave him the idea to escape from his eternal boredom.

The spark of creation.

He created his very own world. A world he titled as the Cardinal World. And it was thanks to that creation that he was finally free from his curse.

He put his very soul into this creation. It was his magnum opus. A work of art he had spent countless years perfecting. A work of art he loved above everything else.

Still, his creation wasn't complete. It needed life, more than just the simple vegetation he had created to fill it. It was then that he created the Great Spirit of Light and Darkness.

From the Great Spirit of Light came the Angels. His servants with great power but without any will of their own.

He chose seven angels from them and evolved them into Primordial Angels and gave them their own will.

They were known as Seven Angels of Origin. The Seraphims, servants of Star King Veldanava. Their only purpose of existence was completing the will of their lord and master.

The leader of Seven Angels of Origin, Spectre Lord Feldway.

Cornu, the aid of Feldway.

Obera, the Loyal.

Zalario, the Silent.

Dino, the chief advisor of Veldanava.

Last but not least, Garasha and Pico, Dino's aid.

All of them were created from the Great Holy Spirit of Light.

And the Holy Spirit of Darkness also played an important role in the creation of seven primordial demons too.

The Red, Rouge.

The Black, Noir.

The White, Blanc.

The Yellow, Jaune.

The Purple, Violet.

Blue and Green, Vert and Bleu.

The demons had a will of their own, but they were limited in existence points or more commonly known as EP created by his future self. He truly had an interesting mind to come up with such unique ideas himself.

Even he, with all his glory, copied names for his unique system for ultimate skills from other worlds. And had been done with it for a good time.

But the Voice of the World System was his very own creation. So that he wouldn't get bored.

But it seemed Boredom was not going to leave him soon.

Then, on a certain day, Veldanava was surprised like never before. He was no longer alone. The world itself shaked in happiness for the birth of two new true dragons.

Frost Dragon Velzard and Scorch Dragon Velgrynd.

Both of them went mad and attacked everything in their sight.

He had to personally take care of them because no being in the cardinal world could match a True Dragon in anything be it magicules, strength, will and skill. That was the eternal truth of this universe and nothing could change it ever.

Both sisters were the exact opposite of each other but they were still quite close.

Velzard was second in hierarchy and power to Veldanava himself, Velgrynd came third in either of them. She represented Deceleration and Velgrynd was the embodiment of everything Acceleration.

He loved his sisters with all of his heart and soul. The love of spiritual lifeform and their love wasn't fleeting like mortals.

Time continued to pass on and stillness once again crept into his soul.

Somewhere in the unknown time, their new sibling Veldora was born.

His family increased once again.

He was so sweet and innocent. So much for being the incarnation of chaos. But his sisters never seemed to understand it. They instead chose violence to answer his chaos. As a result, the fear of his sisters took root in his very soul.

Only Veldanava protected him from their ignorance but it left a wound that would never heal in time.

Spiritual beings never forget their memories, just where has he gone wrong with his siblings. Their long lives were truly their greatest boon and curse.

Slowly, Veldora started to distance himself from his sisters.

Once again, he had an idea that would change the very future of this world.

He decided to create a soul from nothing. A never seen marvel like never before. He decided to give birth to an anomaly. A bonafide True Dragon. Even the world system agreed with him.

So, he created a brand new soul with his very own dragon factor.

If his sisters came to know about this they would nag him forever.

"Whatever" he may say, but the main reason for doing this was his curiosity.

Could this being surpass him in the unknown future?

Only time could tell…

As consciousness returned to me, I found myself in a strange place. At the very least, I was no longer trapped in darkness for eternity.

I shuddered just thinking about that nightmare. I never wanted to return to that place ever.

It was no longer dark here and everything was clearly visible.

'So, that's how the world outside of eternal darkness looks like.'

I had lived his entire life in that cursed place, never knowing that the outside world could be so beautiful.

I tried to look at his surroundings. Then I noticed, my body coordination was definitely wrong. My centre of gravity was different. Odd, I thought as I tried to use my motor functions but they felt wrong.

And more to the point, why was everything so small?

This was getting out of control. Like, man. I needed some time to deal with this shit.

Whenever I started to panic, I always found it helpful to meditate in a stressful situation, which was forever in darkness.

Suddenly a voice ran across my mind.

[Required energy for activating the unique skill Great Sage acquired.

Use the unique skill "Great Sage" ?

Yes

No]

Huh? Wh-what? Unique Skill "Great Sage" ?

And what was up with that voice? I thought I heard something weird when I was trapped in the darkness. I thought it was just my imagination. It looked like my mind wasn't playing tricks with me. Something didn't seem quite right with it. It wasn't that I thought I had a visitor in my prison, so much as… well, as I had words floating in my mind. Cold, silent words, like an emotionless voice.

Let's go with yes for now.

No response. Then finally the unknown voice responded.

Received. It is being verified with the Voice of the World that the host is born as a True Dragon. You are currently one of the strongest beings in existence.

You have two unique skills.

"Great Sage" and "Free One"

What? Whoa! It speaks! What are the skills? I don't remember ever having them.

So, what the hell?

Received. This is the effect of the unique skill "Great Sage." The skill has taken effect, making it more immediately available.

Wait…

So the one talking with me in the limbo was you?

Affirmative.

"Cool! So tell me, what does the unique skill "The Ruler" do?"

Received. The unique skill "The Ruler" chiefly comprises the following effects:

[The Ruler]

Grants the ability to define and impose localized "rules" within a set territory.

Can enforce cause and effect (e.g., no teleportation, no lies, no entropy).

Gains knowledge of all violations and can automatically correct or punish breaches.

A sage huh? And here I thought someone was screwing up with me. For all I knew, this "voice" was something my mind had crafted to keep my marbles intact. Well, anything could have been better than spending my entire existence in limbo. For the first time in ages, I could feel a burden lifting from my heart. Now, it was the best partner I had, hope that keeps up.

By my count, or rather Great Sage it has been 30 days, 6 hours and 32 minutes since my birth as a true dragon or as an ultimate existence as she liked to call me. Honestly, I would have never cared to count personally nor did I know how to… Turns out that was one of the many great benefits of evoking that "Great Sage" skill.

Was that thing helpful? Talk about your best friend in a pinch. Any question that popped to mind, it instantly provided the answer.

According to Great Sage, it took 30 days for the skill to fully fuse itself with my soul. Normally, it would be unable to provide responses in the form of conversation, but due to my strong soul and connection to the world it was able to evolve one step further than the normal unique skills.

This useful ability, relaying words into my mind, isn't normally possible. As it explained to me, this "World Language" was heard only when there were great changes to the world or when you either earned or upgraded a skill, something that normally didn't happen all that often. These skills were obtained only rarely, when the world recognized that you had grown in one way or another.

Evolution, meanwhile, was something most people never got to experience in their lives. But, with me being already on the highest level of existence, this was made possible because of my strong connection to the world.

She had also gained more data to research over the month, which was good for her, I think so…

According to her, if I had been born without the unique skill "Great Sage". I would definitely have gone on a rampage and have done untold damage to the world. I was truly glad she was my very first friend in this unknown place and all of this data was given by the world system.

I shuddered to think what could have happened to me without her.

No freedom, just another prison from the one I escaped from.

She already proved to be the best friend anyone could hope for in their entire life.

'Noted.'

So there I was, starting my first life, asking a barrage of questions and my new friend and she answered with the patience of a literal goddess.

'It is the duty of the "Great Sage". No need to thank me, my lord.'

"Don't be so humble, Great Sage. Praise is due where it's needed."

She truly didn't know how much I appreciated her companionship.

A question had been bugging me from earlier. How did I already know about everything about the world?

All of Creation: Provides full coverage of all unsuppressed matter and phenomena in this world.

Neat. "All of Creation"? So I know about everything, everywhere, with no effort on my part? Score! Or so I thought. It turned out that I could only be told information related to things I'd already heard about—in other words, I needed to recognize and understand a concept before I could grab a full Analysis of it. Which "Great Sage" had been doing since earlier.

I had also acquired three more neat abilities in the last month.

Thought Acceleration: Boost perception speed by a thousand times.

Cast Cancel: Annuls the casting period required when using magic.

And she had been continuously suppressing my aura from earlier too. The Great Sage was truly a blessing for me.

She even ended up granting me a really powerful Extra Skill "Space Manipulation'' after analyzing my best defensive skill "Multi Layered Barrier" for a whole month. Let me tell you it was my most broken skill. I was on the top of the food chain and I didn't even need to use his second skill "Free One". it would have been an overkill of the highest order,

He had two modes he could transform into with a thought.

Humanoid Mode: Which allowed him to transform into his humanoid form.

True Dragon Mode: It was his true form. It allowed him access to more power but less movement.

The combat mode was the best for movement and dealing with any stray monsters. It allowed him to efficiently use the rampaging energy in his body. No monster was a match for him in this world yet. No one attacked him like a fool, those who did quickly learned their lesson. Most of the monsters ran away, just by sensing his aura of Dragon's Haki.

Dragon's Haki: Powerful Haki that allows the user to imbue their aura with various magical and physical properties, allowing it to both exert a spiritual pressure over their targets, inflict them with lethal magic effects and physical damage. When used to its fullest, it allows the host's aura to shred anything it comes into contact with.

Whereas the True Dragon mode transformed him into his true form as a true dragon. In this form all the restrictions on his body were removed, allowing him to use his power to his fullest.

Gradually, he grew accustomed to his new form. Although being a sentient dragon on the level of Gods was kind of bizarre. It oddly felt right to him like this was where he belonged to as if it was his destined fate.

He truly didn't know how right he was and four natural catastrophes were steadily making their way towards him.

'We are gonna rock this world, We are gonna be the Rulers of this world, baby.' Humming to the unknown voice in his head, he strolled forward on the grass wherever the wind took him. There had been nothing for him to do. Most of his time was spent on improving his skills with "Great Sage". Eventually he got bored after exploring the entire grasslands and decided to explore the outside world. According to her, it was the most optimal choice according to Great Sage.

He was humming to himself when the notification appeared in his mind.

Alert! Multiple strong life forms are closing on the host's location. Caution is advised as their threat level seems to be closer or higher than the host. Host is advised to enter Combat Mode this instant.

"What are you talking about Great Sage? Explain in more detail." he asked, he didn't know why but his heart was beating loudly in his chest, which was never a good sign for him.

[Received. It is believed that your soul is connected with them. Their magicules, soul and energy matches with you more than 90%. But still, don't let your guard down in any condition.]

What the hell? And here I thought I was finally free. What should I do? What did she mean by my soul being connected with them? Were they behind my imprisonment in that strange place?

What should I do, Great Sage?

It is believed that the master shouldn't reach any conclusions before meeting them. First you should observe the situation before taking any irreversible action due to haste.

Her robotic and cold voice echoed in his mind. He thought he felt some feelings from her, but it must have been his imagination and nothing more. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself down and it wasn't like creating unwanted chaos would be of any help to him in this situation.

Okay, do it Great Sage. Turn it on maximum power, no need to worry about anything.

I felt her smiling upon hearing my response. It was like she was waiting for me to give the command and already knew what was going to happen. She was always two steps ahead of me and I never knew what was going through her mind. Never change, Great Sage.

'Noted.'

He held in a breath, the dragon energy in his very own body was fighting a battle of its own, unstable and furious. An energy that held the potential to destroy this world if it went out of control.

His horns glowed white and shrank themself in his forehead. Within the centre of his chest power surged and it created a dome of energy around him, then the dome exploded all of sudden. The dome expanded outwards, erasing everything it touched from existence. The earth dissolved, the valley cracked and the sky lit up in a green haze. The grasslands were gone.

Even in this half conscious state, he never lost his control.

He only had one thought in his mind.

'I will never lose my freedom ever again.'

And then it was all over like it never happened in the first place.

Stardust fell like dark ash, the blackened earth cried in silence. Where once was so much life present and then there was nothing except a giant hole and a boy floating in the air.

Were they still coming?

He didn't know?

But he was ready for the chaos that awaited him.

As for the world. Only the future could tell.

– Velzard, The Frost Dragon –

What stops an immortal being who lived for who knows how many years from not going insane for good? For most, the answers would be loneliness. For others it would be the passing of time. Both sides were completely in the wrong. The real answer lies in the bond they create with their loved ones. And Velzard truly loved her family above everything else, even though she would never admit it out loud to anyone, especially Velgrynd.

She had been over the moon for the last month, because soon they were going to meet their new sibling. Their elder brother Veldanava had been the one who sensed his birth first, followed by her, Velgrynd and her idiotic brother Veldora. Veldora hasn't created any kind of trouble for a whole month, which was a rare occurrence in itself. She couldn't wait to hug the life out of her new brother, she just hoped he was better than her little brother Veldora, which shouldn't be much to ask for.

"Are you thinking something bad about me dear s-sister?" Veldora asked, her brother really had some good instincts, even though he lost them in his stupid games. She still loved her brother nonetheless.

"Never brother! Do you really think I would do something so cruel to my innocent brother?" Velzard smiled faintly after saying that, sending a chill down his spine. Velgrynd laughed at her brother hovering silently behind them.

"We are about to reach the location, get ready." Her elder brother's voice sounded in their mind, all of them perked up on the possibility of meeting their brother for the first time and picked up their speed.

Even if their reasons differed from one another.
