Drinking with My Sister After Slaying a Dragon
"Master! Please prepare for battle." The surroundings were already covered in a dimensional rift as Da-chan flew out from the phone.
"Ah? What a cute little fairy!" Komachi, who had been running away, exclaimed in delight.
"Thanks for the compliment," Da-chan smiled proudly, lifted the hem of her skirt in a curtsy, and added, "But we don't have time to chat—prepare for battle!"
At that moment, a white light flashed from the girl's phone. Thanks to the player protection system, Da-chan had instantly arrived via the server.
Detecting enemy class… Rider-class; Race: Dragon; Selecting a compatible Servant for the host… Match found. Commencing Possession Summon— Assassin-class Servant: Shuten-Douji.
A pillar of light descended.
The possession was complete.
A pair of sharp horns sprouted from Komachi's forehead.
Draped in a loose purple kimono that trailed along the ground and slid off her shoulders to reveal her smooth back, she wore various differently shaped and sized gourd flasks across her body.
After the previous attack by Perseus, the world had changed. Now, when Servants were summoned via Possession, they fused more smoothly with their hosts, and their power was enhanced as well.
"Shuten-Douji, switch to combat mode and get ready," Da-chan urged.
"Nooo~? That's a dragon, isn't it? This place isn't even my turf. Let's just ignore it. Besides, I don't even have any subordinates—it's such a pain to fight," Shuten waved her hand lazily and rejected the idea.
"Eh?!" Da-chan cried out in panic. She had summoned the wrong Servant! Shuten-Douji was one of the most infamous oni in Japanese folklore—not a hero who performed good deeds for humanity.
She was capricious, willful, and not bound by common sense.
"I've finally made it to this world. I'd rather go out and explore a bit." Saying that, the demon girl dragged her purple kimono and started walking away.
"Wait! Shuten-Douji! You do have a subordinate! I'll summon him right now!" Da-chan hurriedly flew over and grabbed the hem of Shuten's robe to stop her.
"A subordinate? Hmph… If he's boring, I won't even give him the time of day," Shuten said, showing a faint glimmer of interest.
Da-chan operated Komachi's phone and opened Shirou's account. This time, the icon displayed a question mark—indicating an unknown Servant in FGO.
A pillar of light descended again.
What appeared was a Saber-class Servant they had never seen before: a red-haired youth with amber Mystic Eyes, wearing a white cloak, bare-chested, showing off his eight-pack abs honed through rigorous training.
This was none other than Shirou himself, in his ideal strongest form as imagined by his younger self.
Perhaps this was also a possible future version of him.
This was the new combat mode he had developed with help from Da Vinci and the other Servants at Chaldea.
"I haven't fully developed this form yet. Honestly, I'd prefer being summoned in my Merlin state," Shirou said as he stared at the blue-haired dragon ahead with his Mystic Eyes. Still, his expression remained calm.
"Shirou, you're finally here! Think of something already!" Da-chan huffed, exasperated.
"Hey! Komachi, aren't you cold dressed like that?" The boy noticed his sister—now with horns and wearing something as revealing as a bikini—and frowned. He held back a lecture but still asked sternly.
"Danna (Master)—no, in this body, I guess 'Onii-chan' rolls off the tongue better. But aren't you just as scantily dressed? My, such finely sculpted muscles you have."
Shuten-Douji reached out, pressing herself against him, her fingers tracing his toned v-line. Her eyes sparkled with intoxicated admiration. Blond, blue-eyed muscle hunks were great, but this one was definitely not bad either.
"I have zero shame, you know. As a pre-antihero, I'm more oni than human. I don't need exams or common sense. Hey, Onii-chan—want some sake?" Shuten, controlling Komachi's body, smiled and offered.
Even though this was the same little sister who, just three years ago, had still begged to bathe with her big brother, and whose figure—though improved—still fell short of middle-school standards… now that she was possessed by an oni, she exuded a unique, enchanting seductiveness.
"You've gotten way too uninhibited thanks to this possession, but I guarantee you'll regret this later!" Shirou said as he took off his cloak and draped it over Komachi's body.
"My, how thoughtful of you. Though really, this body doesn't need such fuss," the Servant inside Komachi said with a sly grin.
"Listen to me! Or I'll forcefully send you back to the Throne of Heroes!" Shirou barked sharply.
"Mmm, I actually don't mind being bossed around like this by a man. But if you drink with me, I might be willing to do as you say," Shuten laughed as she shook her gourd and licked her lips.
"RROOOAAARR!!" The dragon let out a thunderous roar, sending shockwaves of sound and air crashing toward the siblings.
"What a noisy little lizard. If it wants to scare me off, it better be an eastern dragon god—or at least sprout eight heads and start whining," Shuten narrowed her eyes and summoned a long sword with a purple gourd-shaped hilt, pointing it at the blue dragon.
"I was just starting to enjoy the flirting. You're ruining the mood. I'll rip out your bones and use your dragon marrow as a chaser."
She held the sword in one hand and a gourd in the other. From the gourd, thick, fragrant alcoholic mist poured out, drifting toward the dragon.
The raging beast suddenly calmed, as if intoxicated. Even its gleaming scales seemed to corrode slightly under the mist.
At the same time as weakening the dragon, Shuten empowered herself. As the Oni Queen of the demon realm, now a Heroic Spirit, she possessed compound buffs: demonic energy, monstrous strength, charisma, and Mana Burst.
She finally activated her Noble Phantasm: Thousand Colors of Wine and Poison, Divine Venom of Oni.
Shuten poured sake onto the ground, and at her command, it transformed into a vast purple lake of liquor that flowed under the dragon.
Its body was instantly stained purple. By the time the dragon shook off its charm-induced stupor, it was already poisoned. Its once-impenetrable scales began to corrode and shrivel, like peeling bark.
Shuten raised her long sword high and leapt. With Shirou not even lifting a finger, she pierced the dragon's heart, slaying it alone and even tearing out its reverse scale.
Yet even after the dragon was defeated, Shuten-Douji showed no intention of returning to the Throne.
"Onii-chan~ Since you're my brother now, why don't you take me out to play?" Now barefoot, Shuten leapt onto a nearby rooftop wall. She didn't care about her exposed skin as she strutted along like a catwalk model, curiously admiring the modern buildings.
"I like glamorous, beautiful things."
Even among Heroic Spirits, some were especially troublesome. This one wasn't even human—she was an oni, a non-human creature bound neither by human morality nor reason.
"No. No matter how you look at it, I don't have time to entertain you. So tell me—what's your wish?" Shirou cut straight to the point.
"My wish? Hmm… How about this—let's share a ceremonial cup of sake. But this is divine liquor. It's beneficial to gods, but poisonous to mortals and monsters. Do you dare drink with me?" Shuten said, shaking her gourd.
"If you'll go back quietly after we drink it."
Shirou instantly projected a large sake bowl identical to Shuten's and handed it to the horned girl with a decisive expression.
Even if she's a demon—she's still his sister. What kind of brother would fear his own little sister?
