Chapter 4 - The System Will Save You

I think the game is over.

No screen. No rules. No system voice to lie to me anymore.

I sit here… no, I coil.

A snake.

A joke.

What a shame of a game.

I helped the resurrection people — killed by her servant.I saved the kids — they turned on me and tore me apart.I tried to end that bitch —But guess what?

She's a VIP.

I'm just an animal.

Okay.

Fine.

This time — I'll finish her.No forgiveness. No surrender. No fear.

I'll ride her.Like she rode the ones she grooved into her army.

But—Just as I moved—

[System Transfer Initiated][Redirecting…]

Everything broke.

I was dragged across black code and shattered maps, thrown into a space that felt off-grid, unreal, wrong.

I slammed into the stone.

Alone again.

Then the sky screamed a name:

YOU VS RKWOOD

I froze.

RKWOOD…

That name burned through my soul like poison.

"You moral-less thing…""I'LL BURN YOU!!"

But when I looked down—

I wasn't a man.

No hands. No sword. No face.

Just a tail. Fangs. Scales.

A crawling, cursed thing.

"How can I fight a man when I'm like this?"

The wind answered. A whisper from the system — low, forbidden, final:

[That's what he thinks.][Now prove him wrong.]

And something deep within me stirred —Not human. Not beast.

Something else.

Your words, use your words and the spells can save you.

"But… for what?" he asked aloud. "How? What am I even fighting for anymore?"

The system didn't hesitate.

[System Response: You may now use the Rebirth Spell for Combat Advantage.]

You see them, don't you? The fallen.Your people. Your allies. Your failures.

Use them. Wake them. Make them fight for you.

He looked around.

The battlefield was littered with corpses —His former allies. His teammates. Those who had trusted him once.

He hesitated.

Then whispered the forbidden word.

"****…"**

And they stirred.

Eyes flickered. Limbs twitched. One by one, they stood again.

But something was wrong.

They were slow. Hollow. Flickering.

They weren't enough.

"We're not strong enough," he said. "Not yet."

Then the system offered him something new:

[You have received a Resurrection Voucher – Tier Z]

Use this voucher to awaken more combat units.Use with caution.

He didn't hesitate.

He used it.

Bodies rose.

Dozens. Hundreds.

A wave of fallen people stood across the field — men, women, chi

He thought they would stand with him.

But then—

They turned.

Eyes glazed over. Jaws opened.Screaming. Growling. Biting.

They weren't awakened warriors.

They were zombies.

And they didn't attack the enemy…

They attacked the audience.

The spectators. The neutral players. The ones watching from safety. The ones he was trying to save.

He screamed."No—no, STOP!"

But they didn't hear him.

They devoured.They infected.They multiplied.

[System Notice: Improper Use of Resurrection Tier Z Voucher][Infection Protocol Triggered]

Congratulations. You have created a new plague class.

He fell to his knees as the world burned around him.

People were running.Screaming.Begging him for help.

But this time…He was the reason they were dying.

"Okay," I muttered to no one, "so even the system betrayed me?"

No reply. Just the void. Cold and quiet.

"Are you kidding me?"

I turned, trying to find something—anything. The game had turned against me. The players betrayed me. The kids slaughtered me. RC twisted me into a monster.

And now the system?

Then… I saw it.

Tiny letters, blinking faintly around the edge of the screen.

Barely visible. Almost like the system wanted me not to notice.

I hissed, leaned closer.

[no one can give answer to this]

[we will save you]

[Lit.com]

My eyes narrowed.

"What the hell is Lit.com?"

Agent?

Trap?

Hope?

It didn't matter.

Something — someone — was watching from outside the rules.

That meant one thing:

People can still wake up.

The world is a lie.

The players are puppets.

But maybe — just maybe — this game is glitching.

I smiled.

"Alright then."

"This time, I'll die for fun."

Just to break the loop.

Just to see what happens.

I closed my eyes. Ready to let go.

But then—

[WARNING: If you die again…]

[There is a 92.6% chance you will lose all memory.]

[You will restart from the beginning — under Hex Woman's control.]

My heart stopped.

The weight of it dropped like a mountain on my back.

[Your name will be erased.]

[Your rebellion forgotten.]

[You will smile when she grooves you again.]

I froze.

One choice.

Jump… and maybe break free.

Or fall back into her arms.

Blind. Happy. Obedient.

I opened my eyes.

"I don't know who Lit.com is," I whispered.

"But if you're real… save me."

Because this time—

I'm not dying for fun.

I'm dying for freedom.

Suddenly the system said: "Lit is a agent from system pool, and you are saving by Lit agent this time"
