MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC115: Bear
Chapter 115: Bear
"Am I right? But it seems like you're not close to them."
"I've only seen my mother once, and I've never seen my father at all," Richard replied with an expression that showed he didn't care much about them.
The time he saw Rebecca as a newborn baby naturally didn't count, so he had indeed only seen her once in person.
Sophia nodded slightly at his answer, then said, "I'm curious—you're still alive, and your talent is extraordinary, but why did your mother claim you were dead?"
As she said that, Sophia looked at Richard with a curious expression, as if she wanted to know whether he knew the reason.
"You should ask her yourself," Richard replied.
"It must be a painful reason..." Sophia immediately made her own guess.
"But your mother really is a selfish and arrogant woman. If she weren't beautiful and talented, people would've hated her," she said.
"It sounds like you hate her?" Richard responded.
He thought so not only because of Sophia's words, but also because her expression faintly showed a trace of resentment.
"Many people hate her," Sophia replied with a chuckle.
"How about you come in and watch the show? For you, there's no entrance fee." She then changed the topic.
However, Richard shook his head.
"I just want to look around the island, not watch a show," he said, politely refusing.
"It seems your only interest is in matters of strength..." Sophia chuckled at his response.
"By the way, there's someone on this island who owns a treasure," she added.
"A treasure? What kind of treasure?" Richard couldn't help but be surprised, since she suddenly brought that up.
"A very special treasure—it's an Eye that can see through walls. Though using it consumes a large amount of energy, and it must be fueled by Spirit Essence, it's still impressive."
"Who owns it?" Richard immediately asked upon hearing that, not expecting such an item to exist.
Of course, Magi could easily see through walls using their Sixth Sense, but a magic formation could block that.
That was also something that blanketed an area, making it detectable by other Magi.
However, if it was a literal eye that could see through walls, the result would naturally be different. It could bypass detection entirely.
"His name is Bear—no, that's just his title. I don't know his real name. He's one of the biggest brothel bosses on this island. His strength isn't that great, just a lower level World Realm Magus, but his background isn't small."
"What's his background?" Richard asked.
"He's the older brother of the Red Star Empress. The woman named Layla from the auction last night is also his younger sister. Even Layla alone is troublesome to deal with. They're one of the most influential Ducal Families in the capital."
"Ohh..."
Richard, who had initially been filled with greed and ready to rob the man, suddenly became hesitant.
Layla aside, the Red Star Empress—even without her status—was still a formidable figure in the kingdom.
"Ohh, there he is," Sophia suddenly said while looking past Richard.
Richard quickly turned around and saw a group of middle-aged men in luxurious robes, each exuding the air of wealthy mafiosos—many of them had tattoos or cold expressions that suggested they were not people to be offended.
He saw the bearded man he'd noticed at the auction last night—Henry—chatting with a red-haired, slightly fat man whose belly protruded a little.
Henry addressed the fat man as Sir Bear, while the latter called him General.
They seemed cheerful, laughing heartily, and then turned their eyes toward Sophia, smiling brightly as they quickened their pace.
They were slightly surprised to see her with a young boy, but they quickly dismissed Richard, clearly deeming him unimportant.
Compared to him, they spent more time eyeing his horse.
"Ohh, Sophia, I've missed your theater performances so much. I just want to know if Love Lady will perform today," said the fat man.
"She will..." Sophia nodded in response.
"Sir Bear, General Henry, please, go right in..." She gestured politely toward the theater entrance.
It seemed she was too lazy for small talk, though they clearly wanted to engage in it.
"No need to rush, no need to rush. People are still coming," Henry said with a laugh.
Sophia fell silent at that.
"But this horse looks amazing—what Tier is it? I think this would make a perfect mount for my son," Bear suddenly said, this time eyeing Athena, though he looked at Sophia as if assuming the horse was hers.
"It's not mine..." Sophia shook her head before glancing at Richard.
"Ohhh..." Bear finally looked at Richard again.
"Boy, is this your horse?" he asked in a commanding tone.
Toward Richard, he didn't bother pretending to sound polite. His tone was that of someone used to barking orders.
"Yeah..." Richard nodded.
"Are you selling it? How much do you want? How about I give you 5,000 Spirit Essence?"
Richard: "..."
"Sir, why don't we just fight for it, and the winner gets to rob the loser?" Richard replied.
Cough! Sophia coughed instinctively after hearing Richard's words.
Even she reacted—so did everyone else.
No one expected a boy to challenge Bear to a duel with such a ridiculous condition.
Bear and Henry froze for a moment, both rubbing their ears.
"He's Richard..."
When everyone looked at him, someone recognized him. If that was his name, then everyone in the capital had practically heard it.
"So that's him—the so-called prodigy of the kingdom."
"He really is a prodigy. I saw him fight myself. Even in the fairy tales I write, there's no boy that powerful."
"I heard he's already advanced to the Life Aether Realm and become even stronger."
"Isn't it still too much for him to challenge Bear? The man might not be that talented, but he's reached the World Realm."
"He's just a kid. What do you expect from his mind?"
"..."
"Hahaha..." Bear suddenly burst into loud laughter, as if he were genuinely excited.
"Are you sure about that, boy?" he said.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC116: Not Strong
Chapter 116: Not Strong
"Yes, and I want to start now," Richard replied directly.
He was only provoking him on purpose so that what he was about to do—robbing him—would appear fair.
If there was an agreement beforehand, he could justify his actions.
Unless the Red Star Empress was petty enough to ignore her reputation, she wouldn't retaliate over her brother.
And it seemed that Bear, too, wanted to use this chance to rob him.
"Hahahaha..." Bear laughed even louder.
"Then let's begin!" he shouted.
The moment he said that, Richard saw the man's hands suddenly expand, becoming as thick as tree trunks, covered in coarse fur that made them look like those of an actual bear.
His title as Bear clearly had a reason.
Rumble!
Both massive hands came crashing down toward Richard, and at that instant, he realized what kind of power even a lower-tier World Realm Magus possessed.
The pressure radiating from those enormous hands was enough to make it difficult for him to breathe or even move.
BANG!
Black lines appeared all over Richard's body, his veins darkening and bulging.
The moment they appeared, the aura he released surged violently, freeing him from Bear's oppressive pressure.
Buzz!
He unleashed his blinding white flames.
"Damn it!"
Everyone nearby instantly felt threatened.
Not all of them were in the World Realm—many were merely in the Life Aether Realm.
Richard's flames could easily turn them to ash in an instant.
They leapt back frantically, while the stronger ones like Sophia used their Aether to defend against the blazing heat.
"What?" Bear was stunned as the flames quickly burned away the fur on his arms and then his skin.
Whoosh!
He leapt into the sky, soaring upward as fast as he could.
The white flames chased after him, and their speed seemed even faster than his.
Bear maintained his movement thanks to the momentum of his leap, but once he started truly flying, his speed began to drop.
"Athena!" Richard jumped onto Athena's back, still standing instead of sitting.
Whoosh!
Athena spread her wings and soared upward, pursuing Bear into the sky.
His opponent was a World Realm Magus; fighting on the ground was no longer an option.
However, even though Richard could fly with his dragon wings, he wasn't in a hurry to reveal that ability.
A black sword appeared in his hand—a weapon that resonated perfectly with the power of his Black Heart.
From afar, he swung the sword, its blade enveloped in layers of fire, lightning, and darkness.
The result was far beyond what his golden sword could produce.
The slash unleashed by the black sword was immense, like a flowing river that pierced through space—almost teleporting as it appeared right before Bear.
It radiated a crushing pressure that made Bear's face instantly pale.
He froze, struggling to move even an inch.
Boom!
His body erupted with steam—not from external heat, but from the explosion of energy within him.
Then, his entire form transformed into a four-meter-tall bear with a ferocious face and a bulging stomach.
A total transformation.
Unfortunately, he merely turned into a bear—nothing impressive enough to justify the title.
As a bear, his fur grew thicker and denser, shielding him from Richard's slash.
But it wasn't just a simple sword strike—it carried fire that burned, lightning that shattered, and darkness that seeped through every gap.
In an instant, all three elements engulfed Bear's figure.
"Ahhhh!" His screams echoed as his body was overwhelmed by the attack, sent hurtling down into the sea below.
Every watching eye flickered in disbelief.
"Bear's strength should be around Tier 27 at best—but even that's powerful! Yet he's being overwhelmed."
"He's too strong... it looks like Bear's going to lose. After all, he's never been that great in real combat."
Splash!
Bear finally burst out of the water, drenched from head to toe.
He reverted to his human form, his luxurious robe riddled with holes, parts of his skin charred black.
His expression clearly showed the pain he was in.
His eyes locked onto the boy standing atop a winged horse, filled with fear—as if still questioning whether the one before him was truly a child.
"If you don't want to suffer any further, I suggest you surrender and hand over your Storage Artifact," Richard said coldly.
"Boy, don't push your luck," Bear growled, his tone ugly.
"Unless you want to break the agreement?" Richard asked.
"That was just nonsense you made up yourself," Bear snapped.
Richard chuckled softly.
Of course, he knew the man wouldn't honor his word so easily.
How could someone used to oppressing others be so generous?
"There's no chance for you to take your words back now..." Richard smirked coldly.
Whoosh!
Athena soared toward Bear.
At the same time, Richard unleashed a Mind Attack, weakening his opponent so he couldn't resist any further.
He had to finish this quickly before anyone interfered.
"What!" Bear's eyes widened as he staggered, nearly falling again.
Panic filled him, uncertain what strange force had invaded his mind.
He frantically focused his energy to defend his thoughts.
But splitting his power made movement even harder—allowing Athena to close the distance with ease.
Richard's gaze sharpened as he fixed his eyes on one of Bear's fingers—the one wearing a ring.
"Boy, stop—!" Bear shouted in panic, clearly trying to surrender without paying his wager.
There was no way Richard would stop.
He swung his sword, severing Bear's fingers cleanly.
Blood spurted violently, and Richard caught the finger wearing the ring.
With a flick of his white flame, the finger turned to ash, leaving only the ring behind.
"Go!" Richard ordered Athena, and she immediately darted back toward the city, soaring swiftly over the island below.
"You'll regret this, boy!" Bear's furious roar echoed behind him, but Richard couldn't care less.
He had planned to rob him from the very start—he just wanted it to look fair, to reduce future trouble.
The world of magic was cruel.
And since so many wanted to rob him, why shouldn't he do the same to others?
Otherwise, people might start thinking he was someone they could easily trample on.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC117: Eye
Chapter 117: Eye
Richard quickly peeked into Bear's ring, only to frown when he realized the man wasn't rich at all.
He only had around twenty thousand Nature Spirits, a single Tier 3 weapon without even one Tier 4 weapon, and a bunch of items that couldn't be called important.
Most of them were tools meant for torture.
The only thing that caught Richard's attention was a completely crimson eyeball.
It didn't even look like an eye unless one noticed the faint, brighter red lines separating the pupil, lens, and sclera.
"So this is it," Richard muttered.
As he held the eye, he could sense that it seemed to possess a will of its own — one that hungered to absorb vast amounts of energy from Nature Spirits.
Moreover, it appeared that the eye could easily merge with his own just like installing an Aether Frame in his body.
Of course, once installed, it could still be removed again so that no one would notice he possessed an artifact in the form of an eye.
Even Bear himself hadn't dared to keep it permanently in his socket.
Curious, Richard placed the crimson eye over his left eye, and it immediately fused with it.
What he saw didn't change. He realized he needed to feed it with the energy of Nature Spirits to activate its power.
When they arrived above the capital, Richard ordered Athena to lower her altitude so they were close to the rooftops.
He took out ten Nature Spirits and let the crimson eye absorb their energy.
Instantly, he began to notice changes. The nearby rooftops started to turn faintly transparent — though not entirely see-through.
It only lasted a few seconds before the energy absorbed by the crimson eye was depleted.
'Looks like it needs at least fifty Nature Spirits to see through one wall, and even that won't last long,' Richard thought.
He then took out even more — not fifty, but five hundred — and held them in his palm.
Buzz!
His crimson eye absorbed all the energy in an instant, and finally, he could see what was once hidden from him.
The rooftops below seemed to vanish from his vision, revealing what lay beneath.
Of course, most of what he saw were ceilings.
However, there was one house without a ceiling, allowing him to see inside — where a Magus was practicing intensely.
It wasn't an interesting sight, so he turned his gaze elsewhere.
Unfortunately, before he could look into the next house, the energy within the crimson eye had already run out, leaving him speechless.
The artifact's value was undeniably high, but the cost of using it was unimaginable.
Richard would have felt heartbroken if not for the fact that he possessed tens of millions of Nature Spirits.
Even so, those millions could easily vanish if he used this eye's power without restraint.
'No wonder Bear had so few Nature Spirits,' he thought.
That man probably used this red eye far too often to spy on others.
"Let's head back to the inn first," Richard commanded Athena.
The winged horse swiftly flew toward the inn, and Richard instructed her to enter his room through the window — unwilling to leave her outside in case someone tried to steal her again.
Inside his room, Richard sat on the bed, still curious about the red eye's abilities.
He brought out more Nature Spirits this time — two thousand in total — so that he could use the crimson eye for longer.
When it activated, he looked downward through his floor, seeing into Gray and Laura's room.
Before arriving, he had seen them return from afar, so he wanted to check what they were doing after getting back.
And the result was exactly as he expected.
Both of them were still standing — but already without clothes.
Laura, with her long black hair, had to be admitted by Richard as having a tall, sensual body with flawless white skin — incredibly alluring.
His heart pounded as he looked at her body, feeling jealous of Gray, who could embrace and taste her freely. He couldn't help but regret the fact that he wasn't yet an adult — or that he hadn't slept with Lilith, who was even more captivating.
Within moments, the two began making love on the bed.
Richard could only regret that he couldn't hear Laura's moans — only see her expression filled with pleasure.
And it was hard for him to stop watching as things grew even more heated.
He was forced to use more Nature Spirits.
Fortunately, they didn't go on for too long — only about twenty minutes — ending with Gray thrusting into Laura's mouth, and she accepted him eagerly, as if thirsty.
Richard stopped watching after that, his face flushed red, feeling restless. His thoughts wandered bitterly — the life of a man blessed with talent, strength, and a handsome face truly seemed so enviable.
He had everything, yet he wasn't mature enough.
It frustrated him.
"Lilith..." He lay on his bed, thinking about the blonde-haired woman.
Even though he had met other beautiful women — Olivia, who was annoying but no less stunning than Lilith, and Grace, who would surely grow into a breathtaking beauty — Richard still found himself drawn most to Lilith.
Whether it was personal taste or the affection that grew from how much she'd helped him, one thing was certain: he truly liked her.
"Sigh..." Richard grew tired of his own restless emotions.
He forced himself to sleep first.
Unbeknownst to him, word had already spread throughout the capital — the story of his battle with Bear, how he easily defeated him, cut off his fingers, and took his ring.
The news shocked everyone who had been anticipating the duels between the kingdom's young geniuses.
They couldn't help but wonder how they compared to that boy.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
In the evening, Richard woke up from his nap to the sound of knocking at his door.
"Who is it?"
Richard frowned, not expecting anyone to knock.
He was certain it wasn't Sister Lisa — the sound of the knock was different.
Lilith was even more unlikely.
Once he confirmed it wasn't either of them, he grew somewhat cautious.
He used the crimson eye's power to see through the door — and was immediately stunned.
'Why is he here?' he thought in surprise.
The one knocking on his door was none other than Luca Holystar, the king's nephew.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC118: Gift
Chapter 118: Gift
Luca Holystar was the tournament's shining star, predicted to win because his advantage over the others was substantial.
He had long since reached the Life Aether Realm, and even before that his power had been terrifying—strong enough to defeat a Primordial Beast Tier 12.
Richard was wary of him because Luca was part of the Dark Star Legion and possibly a member of the Order of the Crimson Veil.
Still, Luca had grown far stronger now, so Richard did not fear him.
Curious what he wanted, Richard walked to the door, removed the crimson eye and put it away, then opened the door.
Of course, he pretended to be surprised when he saw him, maintaining a confused expression.
"Who are you?" he asked.
He naturally had to feign not recognizing him, since they had never met face to face.
"Greetings, I'm Luca Holystar," the man replied respectfully, even bowing slightly to Richard.
Richard was taken aback—he had not expected this man to show him such deference.
After all, Luca's identity was notable. He was not merely talented but also the king's nephew.
Among the younger generation of the royal family, he would rank just below Lilith in status.
Richard gave him an odd look.
"Is something the matter?" Luca asked in a softer voice.
Richard didn't fully understand the man's personality. At the auction he'd seen Luca angry, but that had been a reasonable reaction to being pressured; Luca wasn't the hotheaded type like Bear. Still, such an attitude from someone who might become his enemy made Richard more alert.
When questioned, Luca smiled.
"I came to pay my respects after hearing about all your achievements," he said.
"Oh..."
As Richard's gaze went blank with confusion, Luca suddenly produced something: a black diamond shaped like an egg, flickering every so often.
Richard didn't know what it was, but it felt as if it contained life.
He suspected it was an egg, though he wasn't certain.
"Accept this—my gift," Luca said, handing the diamond to Richard.
Though hesitant, Richard accepted; the man seemed too serious to refuse outright. It would be improper to decline.
"What is it?" Richard asked.
Holding it, he found it quite heavy and genuinely felt life within.
"An Ancestor Night-Eagle Egg," Luca answered.
"You mean an egg of a Primordial Beast with Ancestor Bloodline?" Richard exclaimed.
Athena only had Royal Blood. Above that were Imperial Bloodlines, which were even stronger.
Of course, the mightiest were Ancestor Bloodlines.
Royal Bloodlines could reach power comparable to Rulers.
Imperial Bloodlines could attain Peak Ruler strength, rivaling Ancient Sovereigns.
Ancestor Bloodlines were rumored to surpass even those—though such things were the stuff of legend.
"Yes... though the chance of the egg hatching is very small, it might hatch in your hands. If it does, it will take the first being it sees as its parent," Luca replied.
"Are you sure you want to give this to me?" Richard asked in wonder.
The egg was extremely precious. He wondered where Luca had gotten it, and most of all why Luca would give it to him.
What was his intention?
"It's common for Magi to give gifts to those they admire. If it were a simple present, you wouldn't care. I wanted to give you something impressive, even if it might not be useful," Luca answered.
"All right, that's all I wanted to do. I'll be off, then," he added, turning and leaving, leaving Richard alone with an uncertain expression.
Richard examined the egg, his mind full of doubt because everything wasn't what he expected.
'Surely he doesn't want to become my follower, right?' Richard wondered with a strange look.
Great prodigies are often followed—especially those who might become Grand Sovereigns; many would bow to such geniuses.
Richard now was no longer the same as when he first arrived in the capital. He was becoming someone others might wish to follow, waiting for his growth and hoping for rewards in return.
Before Richard could return to his room, he was surprised by the arrival of another person: the elderly palace servant who had greeted him and Lilith at the palace.
"Sir Richard!" the old servant greeted respectfully.
Richard wondered who had sent the old man— the King or the Empress?
"What is it?" Richard asked softly.
"I come at the Empress's command to invite you to dinner with Her Majesty at the palace," the old man said, smiling.
"The Empress said she will present you with a gift. She also guarantees that Aldous of the Dark Star Legion will not take revenge on you over his son's death, and that Aldous's elder brother will not retaliate for his defeat by you," the servant added before Richard had a chance to react.
An invitation to dinner from the Empress, a gift, and assurances of no reprisals.
Richard found himself momentarily frozen, struggling to react.
How had so many good things come all at once?
But going to the palace and meeting the Empress—he wasn't entirely confident about his safety there; he couldn't simply trust that the Empress's intentions were wholly sincere.
What if this were a scheme?
Of course, refusing an Empress's invitation would be very improper for a subject. Even asking for time to think would be rude.
"All right, please wait a moment—I'll wash first," Richard said after a brief pause.
He could only hope the Empress harbored no ill intent. If she did, at worst he could incinerate the palace with the Knight-Dragon power stored in his wooden branch.
In the bathroom, Richard unconsciously took a long bath, his mind weighed down by too many thoughts.
He was beginning to feel uneasy staying in the capital, yearning instead to return to his village—where safety and peace had always been within reach.
Watching the tournament? He no longer saw it as anything significant.
To him now, it was nothing more than a battle among juniors.
After all, his original purpose in coming to the capital had only been to broaden his horizons.
By the time he finished bathing, the sky had already darkened.
He then put on the finest clothes he owned—a pair of trousers and a shirt, layered with an open robe that resembled a long coat.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC119: Dinner With Empress
Chapter 119: Dinner With Empress
Richard followed the old servant out of the inn, finding that a luxurious carriage had already been prepared for him — guarded by ten mounted knights.
That alone showed how much respect the Empress had for him.
The old servant even personally acted as the coachman.
Inside the carriage, Richard was still lost in thought.
He tried to think positively, convincing himself that the Empress was merely fulfilling her duty — showing appreciation toward one of her most outstanding citizens.
That should be something normal.
With so many guards accompanying him, it didn't take long before they arrived once again at the grand palace.
However, the carriage didn't stop in front of it.
Instead, the old servant steered it to the side, ascending a sloped path that led to a rooftop.
That part of the palace truly had a massive rooftop garden, filled with all kinds of flowers growing directly from the floor.
Richard saw rows of maids standing neatly, and at the far end, there was a small dining table with only four chairs.
A few maids placed dishes and drinks upon the table — roasted meat and chilled grape juice.
"Sir Richard, please step down!" said the old servant politely.
Richard stepped out of the carriage, still glancing around since he hadn't seen the Empress yet.
"Sir Richard, Her Majesty will arrive shortly. You may take a seat first," said the servant.
Richard nodded and walked toward the table.
The maids even helped pull his chair for him.
As he sat down, he finally saw a tall woman approaching — wearing a tight, luxurious black gown that did little to conceal her breathtaking figure.
Her long crimson hair hung loosely, slightly damp, swaying softly in the cool night breeze.
The fragrance of the surrounding flowers was easily overwhelmed by her intoxicating scent.
Richard thought she was the most elegant woman he had ever seen. The aura of nobility around her radiated an air of unmatched grace.
He thought that an Empress truly possessed a different kind of brilliance compared to other powerful women.
"Thank you for coming..." The Empress spoke to him rather casually.
She walked toward him, signaling the maids to leave.
They quickly obeyed, disappearing until only the two of them remained.
"Greetings, Your Majesty," Richard said respectfully, standing and bowing his head.
"There's no need to be so formal. Sit down and eat first," the Empress replied. Her voice, Richard thought, was pleasing to hear.
He sat back down, though he still felt awkward about eating.
However, the Empress gently pushed her plate a little closer toward him.
"You're not the shy type, are you?" she said, making Richard unsure whether to laugh or sigh.
Even if he wasn't a shy man, how could he act casually before the Empress?
Unless, of course, he was strong enough to ignore her presence.
Unfortunately, there was still a huge gap between their strengths. Richard knew very well how powerful she was.
Though her talent might not surpass his mother's, she was likely ten years older and had begun training far earlier.
Since she had spoken first, Richard finally began to eat — taking a bite of the meat only to find it incredibly delicious: tender, juicy, and carrying a perfect mix of savory and sweet that didn't come from simple salt or sugar.
"Try the sauce," the Empress said, pushing a small plate of sauce closer to him.
It looked like a mix of chili and various spices.
Richard dipped the meat into the sauce, and the taste became even more exquisite.
If he weren't in front of the Empress, he might have devoured it all in seconds.
When he sipped the chilled grape juice, a refreshing feeling washed through him immediately.
"Richard, you are the most extraordinary talent this kingdom has seen since its founding. Your chances of becoming a Grand Sovereign are incredibly high," said the Empress.
Richard was pleased to hear that, but he chose to stay humble.
"I know that Grand Sovereigns aren't always the most talented individuals. They are those who push themselves to their limits. Even if I am gifted, who can say whether I'll reach the same height the Grand Sovereigns achieved in their youth," he replied.
"Not always," said the Empress with a small smile. "Some people still manage to dominate their era through sheer talent alone."
"But from what I see, you're not the type to rely on talent alone. At the very least, your courage stands above others."
She was clearly referring to his boldness in challenging Bear — her older brother.
Richard smiled wryly, his expression naturally charming.
"Since you're from the Holy Star Kingdom, as members of the royal family, it is only natural that we support our most gifted citizens. Your talent far surpasses the rest; we sincerely wish for your future success. It will bring great glory to our kingdom," said the Empress again.
"Your Majesty, aside from me, there are still many great talents in this kingdom who are more senior than I am — such as Princess Lilith or Lady Rebecca," Richard replied.
"They are indeed outstanding..." The Empress agreed.
"But Lilith is the kind who focuses too much on her own pleasures. Historically, people like her never reach the level of a Grand Sovereign. Moreover, when you compare her to the wider world, her talent barely meets the lowest threshold among those competing for the World Magic Aether," the Empress said, expressing her opinion of Lilith.
"What about Lady Rebecca?" Richard asked, genuinely curious about her view of his mother.
"Lady Rebecca is more talented than she lets on..."
"Oh..." Richard was slightly surprised to hear that.
"She fought the King not too long ago. He couldn't even withstand her aura. He had to be assisted by an elder — and even then, Lady Rebecca was still able to fight him without losing."
Richard was, of course, shocked to hear that. An elder was at least at the Lord Realm in this kingdom. Some were even called Ancestors for reaching the Ruler Realm after countless years of accumulation — though their number was few, as the Holy Star Kingdom was considered weak compared to other kingdoms founded by a Grand Sovereign.
"If Lady Rebecca is that strong, why doesn't the kingdom support her?" Richard asked.
From the way the Empress spoke, it was clear that they had chosen to favor him over Rebecca.

Chapter 120: Heavenly Water
"She doesn't need our support — or rather, she doesn't even place us in her eyes," the Empress said with a soft chuckle.
"Of course, we can't blame her for being too proud. But since she isn't on friendly terms with us, there's no way we can offer her our support. Richard, you must be careful of that woman."
"Why?" Richard was slightly surprised by the warning the Empress gave him.
"Your growth is extraordinary. You will inevitably become a target for other factions preparing to obtain the World Magic Aether. Lady Rebecca is the closest to you. There's a possibility she might try to kill you. Such things are common among those who seek the World Magic Aether. When a new genius with great potential appears, they can be killed before they grow."
Richard naturally understood that, but it wasn't proper for him to respond, so he simply nodded.
So far, he thought this Empress truly bore him no ill will.
Her motive might be simple — to gain favor and benefit once he reached the level she anticipated in the future.
"By the way, Richard, what's your relationship with Lilith like?" the Empress suddenly asked.
Richard was caught off guard by the question.
It was difficult for him not to feel awkward. After all, the topic was about his relationship with a woman.
Although there was an age gap, Magi lived long lives. In the end, even a fifty-year difference could still be considered the same generation.
"I know her because my caretaker at the orphanage was a close friend of hers," Richard replied.
"And through that, Princess Lilith helped me quite a bit — she even gave me many things."
That was all he could say, because on the surface, their relationship indeed seemed like that.
The only thing he couldn't say was that Lilith had been waiting for him to grow up so she could make him her lover.
The Empress nodded several times after hearing his words.
However, she didn't continue the topic, leaving Richard wondering why she brought it up in the first place.
Even so, he didn't stop eating — the meat was simply too delicious to resist.
"Richard, take this. It's a gift from me — or rather, from the kingdom itself..." The Empress suddenly took something out and placed it in front of him.
Richard blinked in confusion when he saw it.
It was a small vial filled with golden liquid.
There were probably only a few drops inside, as the bottle was quite narrow.
Richard couldn't tell what it was since he didn't sense any particular energy from it.
"This is Heavenly Water, something discovered by the founder of this kingdom," said the Empress.
"Heavenly Water?" Richard repeated, somewhat surprised.
The name alone suggested its priceless value, though he couldn't guess its purpose.
"We don't have much left. The founder only left a little more than a liter of it. After countless years, only a few bottles remain. You simply have to drink it. Even with that small amount, once you consume it, as long as even a tiny part of your body remains — even a single strand of hair — you can be resurrected after three days. And this can happen twice. You'll even be restored to full strength, even if you're at the Ruler Realm. Think of it as a safeguard — in case an exceptionally powerful Magus suddenly attacks and completely obliterates your body."
After hearing the Empress's explanation, Richard finally took the vial and examined it closely.
"Your Majesty, isn't this too valuable?" he asked.
Compared to a monster egg that might or might not hatch, the Heavenly Water was far more precious — it was practically a second life.
After all, most Magi died from being killed, not from natural causes. One could never assume they were safe.
To live again after being destroyed — who wouldn't want that? It allowed one to take risks others wouldn't dare.
"You must accept it. This is the kingdom's way of supporting you," the Empress replied.
"And that's only one of its functions," she added.
"There's another function?" Richard was surprised again.
"Yes, you can use its power to strengthen yourself. Of course, that would consume the Heavenly Water completely. You can think of it as another option — if you wish to fight. So far, based on the experience of our seniors, there are no side effects when using Heavenly Water to enhance one's power."
Richard nodded. He didn't feel the need to use it that way. It would be far better to save it for a life-threatening situation.
"From what I can see, you already possess the ability to strengthen yourself, but trust me — what Heavenly Water can do is far beyond your imagination."
"How strong would I become?" Richard asked.
"You would gain the power of a Ruler at your current realm."
"What!"
Richard's eyes widened in disbelief when he heard that.
How could that be possible?
The distance between his level and the Ruler Realm was enormous. He would need to advance four more stages to reach it.
"It would last at most one minute — perhaps even less — but it's enough to unleash a few devastating attacks," said the Empress.
Although Richard felt embarrassed to accept something so precious, he couldn't bring himself to refuse it either.
"Thank you, Your Majesty..." he finally said, expressing his gratitude and showing that he had accepted the gift.
"You only need to know that this is our kingdom's hope in you."
"I'll continue to do my best, for I also wish to experience what it feels like to be the strongest," Richard replied, causing the Empress to let out a small laugh.
"You must never lose that ambition," she said.
"Alright then, you must want to rest or train. The head servant will escort you back," she added.
With a snap of her fingers, the old servant appeared again along with several maids who began clearing the table.
"Thank you, Your Majesty!" Richard said once more as he stood up.
After that, he walked toward the carriage prepared to take him home.
He truly felt that the kingdom bore him goodwill — but of course, he couldn't recklessly drink the Heavenly Water just yet.
At the very least, he had to ask Lilith first.
If this was a trap, and the liquid turned out to be something harmful... then he would be doomed.

Chapter 121: Lilith's Request
DING!
(Your mastery of Codex of Celestial Being has increased from 5% to 18%)
Codex of Celestial Being (18%)
Inside the carriage, Richard suddenly received a notification.
It pulled him out of his thoughts, bringing a faint sense of joy as he thought about training as soon as he arrived at the inn.
It didn't take long.
The inn felt oddly quieter that night.
Its residents were either out walking or busy training. At least Gray—Richard saw him training diligently.
Tomorrow marked the first round of the tournament, where half of the participants would be eliminated. No wonder Gray wasn't fooling around anymore.
In his room, Richard entered the Dragon Hall and began absorbing Aether from within.
He could absorb Aether much faster there than in the Skylight Clan's Secret Land.
With the help of the Aether Bottle, in just an hour, he managed to gather nearly 40 Aether.
After training for more than seven hours, he had accumulated exactly 280 Aether.
> [Aether: 12,320 / 20,000
[Aether Accumulation: 27,320
Richard couldn't say he was satisfied with the result—but it was the fastest he could manage. After all, he was in the Life Aether Realm now, no longer in the Aether Will Realm.
After that, he decided to sleep, feeling quite exhausted.
"Boy!"
He hadn't slept for long. It was still very early when a familiar voice woke him.
His eyes opened instinctively, only to find a beautiful blonde woman standing before him—dressed in nothing but a short nightgown.
It hung loosely on her, but that only made the curves of her chest more visible.
Her golden hair fell like a priceless crown. Even half-asleep, Richard suddenly felt awake as his gaze traveled from her head down to her long, fair legs.
"Sister Lilith!" Richard quickly sat up.
This woman had disappeared somewhere, even taking Sister Lisa with her and leaving him alone at the orphanage.
Now, she appeared in his room out of nowhere, waking him from his short sleep.
She sat casually on his bed, crossing her legs.
"Did you get the Heavenly Water from the Empress?" she asked.
"Mm, yeah..." Richard was caught off guard by the question and nodded instinctively.
"Sister, is there something wrong with that water?" he asked.
"No, I want you to give me half of it."
Richard: "..."
He was speechless upon hearing her request.
Wasn't she a royal princess? Couldn't she just ask her father directly?
"Boy, half of that bottle is enough for you to revive once. Even if you use it to boost your strength, you'll still reach the Ruler Realm—at most, it'll just take half the time," Lilith said.
"Sister, what do you need the Heavenly Water for? Besides, your survivability is amazing. You have two clones," Richard replied.
Compared to the Heavenly Water, Richard was actually more envious of Lilith's two clones.
Of course, he desired them—but knowing Lilith wouldn't just hand them over, he chose not to mention it directly.
Now that she brought it up herself, he hoped she'd offer the method in exchange for half of his Heavenly Water.
"Boy, I want to fight someone strong, so I need the Heavenly Water," Lilith answered.
"Aren't you a princess?" Richard didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Could she really not get Heavenly Water with her status?
Perhaps not—since the Empress herself said their stock was already very limited.
Of course, that made Richard even more astonished that the kingdom had given him one as a reward.
"You can trade it for something," Lilith said—the words Richard had been waiting for.
"Your clone ability, Sister Lilith..." Richard immediately chose that.
But Lilith frowned upon hearing it.
"Don't think I'm stingy, boy," she said. "It's not a training method. It depends on a specific artifact. If I give it to you, I'll lose both of my clones."
Richard: "..."
Naturally, he was disappointed to hear it depended on an artifact rather than cultivation.
The question was—did any other artifact like that exist?
It must be even rarer than a Teleportation Disk.
He fell silent, unsure of what to say.
It wasn't that he was unwilling to share the Heavenly Water with Lilith, but it was disheartening not to gain something of high value in return.
He took out the bottle containing the golden liquid.
Lilith's eyes gleamed when she saw it.
Her hands twitched as if she wanted to grab it right away—but she restrained herself.
"Boy..." she suddenly leaned in close.
"Unless... you don't want me when you're older?" she said in a soft, alluring tone.
Richard froze—not because of her words, but because her face was far too close.
When you looked at other women up close, you could usually notice their small flaws.
But Lilith's face—he saw none. It was even more beautiful up close, especially her slightly moist red lips and those glistening blue eyes.
"Ehmm..."
Richard shifted aside, clearing his throat.
"Sister Lilith, this still isn't free," he said.
"Of course not. Then tell me—what else do you want?" she replied casually.
"I'm not even sure what I can get from you," Richard answered.
That was the problem. Other than her clone ability, he had no idea what else he wanted.
"Do you want an idea?" Lilith asked.
"Yes..." Richard nodded.
"Then think of it as your dowry for me. In the future, you won't need to pay any bride price for me."
Richard: "..."
'Now I know why she came wearing a nightgown,' Richard thought.
But that also meant Lilith was well aware that he was deeply captivated by her.
Richard felt slightly embarrassed at the thought. After all, he was just a boy—but already infatuated with a grown woman.
"At least give me something," he said.
He didn't want to be swept away by Lilith's teasing tone; he still needed something in return for half of his Heavenly Water.
Lilith rolled her eyes, realizing this boy wasn't so easily fooled.
Whoosh!
She waved her hand, and something suddenly appeared in her palm.
"How about this?" she asked, showing him the object.
Richard's eyes lit up the moment he saw it.
A Slave Seal—it was actually a Slave Seal, exactly like the necklace he once obtained.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC122: Must Die
Chapter 122: Must Die
"Where did you get this, Sister?" Richard asked, unintentionally snatching the necklace from her hand.
Even though he didn't yet know who he would enslave with it, the item was clearly valuable enough to trade for.
Lilith didn't seem to mind him taking the necklace. Instead, she reached for the small bottle in his hand.
"In short, it wasn't easy for me to get it," Lilith replied.
"So, do you agree now?"
"Yes..." Richard nodded. "But only half of the water."
"Don't worry. Do I look like someone who would cheat you?"
Lilith then opened the cap of the small bottle.
Splash!
With a flick of her power, she drew out half of the golden liquid and guided it straight into her mouth.
No visible effect appeared on her, but since she wanted it so badly, it couldn't possibly be useless.
"Drink it quickly, or someone might rob you," Lilith said, handing the small bottle back to Richard.
Now that he was sure it wasn't dangerous, Richard had no hesitation in drinking it.
It was so little that he barely felt like he drank anything at all.
However, the moment it reached his stomach, he could feel a mysterious power coursing through his entire body.
DING!
(You have fused with Heavenly Water — a divine liquid that can save you from death as long as a part of your body remains, and can also be used to strengthen your power!)

Sacred Flame
Incomplete Heavenly Water (0 Points)]
(Notification: When your Heavenly Water points reach 100, your Heavenly Water will become complete.
Complete Heavenly Water grants limitless regeneration and can continue enhancing your strength each time it is recharged!)
Richard: "..."
'How is that even possible?' he thought, blinking in disbelief.
If this was Incomplete Heavenly Water, then what would the Complete one be like?
But what caught his attention the most was his System's ability — could it actually perfect external powers that were originally incomplete?
That had never happened with the Aether Skeleton, likely because each part he fused with was already perfect.
If it weren't — for example, if he had only fused with part of the hand bones — then the System might have completed it for him, restoring the entire hand.
"Boy, why are you spacing out?" Lilith's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"It's nothing!" Richard quickly shook his head.
"You'd better go wash up if you plan to watch the tournament," Lilith said again as she stood up.
Then she walked out.
As a princess, she probably had to attend anyway, since the tournament in the capital would be watched directly by the King and the Empress — and even some of the royal elders.
Those elders carried more weight than the King himself. Many of them were former kings of the Holy Star Kingdom.
Unfortunately, Richard had almost no interest in the tournament anymore.
Even now, he still felt like he hadn't slept enough.
After a moment of thought, he lay back down on his bed.
As soon as his head hit the pillow, he fell asleep again.
It was better this way — once he woke up, he could train nonstop until his strength was completely spent.
By midday, he finally woke up feeling refreshed.
He didn't bother bathing or doing anything else; he immediately entered the Dragon Hall and began absorbing Aether.
DING!
(Your Heavenly Water points have increased from 0 to 13!)
By nighttime, the System notification appeared.
> Incomplete Heavenly Water (13 Points)
It shocked him deeply.
Not the data itself — but what he felt inside his body.
He suddenly realized the Heavenly Water within him had grown significantly.
But more importantly, something was beginning to take shape inside him.
'This feels similar to the Sacred Flame,' he thought.
However, in terms of quality, Heavenly Water was clearly far above Sacred Flame. From the names alone — Sacred and Heavenly — the difference was vast, unless it was Heavenly Flame.
'Maybe what the kingdom's founder obtained was only water produced by the Heavenly Water — not the true Heavenly Water itself.'
Richard's eyes gleamed at the thought. It made him look forward even more to the final result.
He continued absorbing Aether.
Time passed — from night to morning, he was still cultivating.
His plan was to keep going for 24 hours straight.
As long as it wasn't 24 hours yet, he wouldn't stop.
> [Aether: 13,280 / 20,000
[Aether Accumulation: 28,280
When he finally hit the 24-hour mark, he stopped — quite satisfied that he had gathered 960 Aether.
Seven more sessions like this — 24 hours of nonstop cultivation — and his Aether would reach the maximum point.
At that time, even without the power of his Black Heart, he should already be stronger than Bear, whom he defeated with its help.
Richard returned to his room and collapsed onto his bed.
It was the second day of the tournament, and it seemed everyone had gone to the colosseum — his perception told him there were only a few people nearby.
Spreading out his spiritual waves, he found that someone was still watching him — especially Austin.
'Who exactly is giving this man orders?' Richard wondered.
He thought Austin would have stopped observing him since Luca had already given him a gift.
After all, that man was from the Dark Star Legion.
With his identity, he should have had significant influence within the Legion.
Even if he weren't truly loyal, he should have at least restrained Austin to avoid suspicion.
Yet Austin was still acting.
'Unless someone else gave him orders,' Richard thought.
He was starting to get irritated.
With his growing strength, his pride had also risen sharply — especially knowing his power could be enhanced even further with Heavenly Water.
For someone to stalk him now — he saw that as an unforgivable insult.
'He must die,' he thought coldly.
If one monkey dies, the others are bound to be frightened.
If he doesn't scare them, they will probably think it's okay to make a small nuisance of him.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC123: Enemy
Chapter 123: Enemy
Richard then stood up, walked to the window, and stepped onto the sill.
He gazed at an inn across the street—more precisely, at one of its rooms whose windows were tightly shut.
However, thanks to his wave perception, he knew that Austin was secretly watching him through a small hole in the wall.
Austin was clearly startled when Richard suddenly looked straight in his direction.
Whoosh!
Richard leaped toward the inn, activating the power of his Black Heart. Dark lines crawled across his skin, pulsing with sinister energy.
His jump looked effortless, yet his aura instantly turned oppressive, making everyone beneath him gasp for breath as he passed overhead.
Then, black scales grew over his fist, enlarging it to three times its normal size.
BANG!
He punched the wall of the room with immense force, shattering the magical barrier of its formation before pulverizing the wall itself into countless fragments.
Rumble!
The entire inn trembled uncontrollably.
On the other side, Austin was violently thrown backward by nothing more than the shockwave of Richard's strike.
He looked completely stunned—Richard had attacked with full power without hesitation.
Even the sheer pressure from his aura made Austin tremble in fear.
"W-what are you doing?" he stammered.
"What else but killing you," Richard replied coldly.
His black sword appeared in his hand, and he dashed toward Austin once more.
"N-nooo..." The man screamed in terror, but unfortunately, Richard had already swung his blade at his neck.
Swish!
It effortlessly sliced through his throat, then curved back to cleave through his chest, before returning to sever both of his legs.
Still, Richard didn't stop there.
He thrust his sword deep into Austin's heart, channeling a blinding lightning bolt through it.
BANG!
In the end, the heart exploded, scattering flesh and blood across the room.
"Hmph."
Too lazy to even glance at the remains, Richard simply took the man's ring and turned to leave.
However, the contents of the ring made him frown. Ten thousand Nature Spirits and a weapon only at Tier 2.
It hurt his eyes just looking at it.
But then he found a token bearing a dark star symbol with a unique aura.
It had to be a membership token of the Dark Star Legion.
In addition, Richard spotted a curved piece of red metal streaked with dark lines, shaped like a hooked finger with small holes along it.
He guessed it was a Communication Artifact.
Artifacts like that were typically possessed only by powerful organizations—distributed to members so they could contact one another.
Richard tried to activate it but quickly discovered he couldn't.
It seemed to respond only to Austin's Aether signature.
Still, it would automatically activate if someone sent a message.
Richard tucked it into his pocket, planning to listen in if any messages were transmitted to Austin even though he thought it wouldn't happen because the other party should have learned of Austin's death in no time.
Whoosh!
From Austin's room, he leapt straight back into his own window.
The innkeeper he had just wrecked was probably busy watching the tournament, so he didn't come to protest.
Even if he did, how much would it really cost to fix one broken room? Richard didn't care in the slightest.
Sitting on his bed, Richard stared at the Communication Artifact in his hand.
'I guess I'll have to meet Luca and ask him directly,' he thought.
After who knows how long in his room, there came a sudden knock on the door.
Not knowing who it was, he opened it anyway.
"Ohh..." He was slightly surprised to see Paul from the Sky Armor Legion standing there.
Richard greeted him with an easy smile.
"Am I going to be arrested for committing murder in the city?" Richard asked casually.
Paul raised an eyebrow, perhaps surprised by the tone.
Then he shook his head.
"You're under the Empress's protection. The law doesn't apply to you as long as the ones you kill are those who target you," he said.
"Ohhh..." Richard sounded mildly surprised.
"Then why are you here?" he asked again.
"To settle the matter and clean up the corpse you left behind. I'm also here to warn you—there's someone in this kingdom who's not easy to deal with."
After saying that, Paul turned to leave.
"Wait!" Richard stopped him. "Who is that person? Tell me his name!"
Paul hesitated for a moment, but then he finally spoke.
"Prince Charles Holylight."
"What?"
Richard couldn't help but look shocked—or rather, confused.
How could it be that man? After all, he was a prince from a neighboring kingdom.
"Prince Charles is a disciple of the Lord of the Crimson Veil. Most members of the Dark Star Legion deeply respect him because they aspire to join the Order of the Crimson Veil."
"So, he's the one who sent people to spy on me?" Richard asked, narrowing his eyes with a spark of vengeance.
He might not have been attacked directly, but since the prince had targeted him, he intended to send a message—one that said he wasn't someone to be trifled with.
"Most likely..." Paul nodded.
Once he received confirmation, Richard returned to his room.
A plan surfaced in his mind, one that made him smirk.
He was confident in this idea. While it wouldn't hurt the prince physically, it would wound him emotionally—something far more painful than a slap to the face.
"Better get some sleep. The King and Empress are probably still watching the tournament," he muttered, lying back on his bed.
He'd trained far too intensely—some rest was long overdue.
DING!
(Your Heavenly Water Points have increased from 13 to 26!)
Incomplete Heavenly Water (26 Points)
That night, Richard woke up after receiving the notification.
He'd overslept, so he quickly took a bath, dressed neatly, and stepped out of his room—only to be startled by Sister Lisa, who had just been about to knock on his door.
"Sister," Richard greeted instinctively.
"Richard, where have you been? Why didn't you watch the tournament?" Lisa asked.
It seemed she had simply been looking for him, wanting to make sure he was still in his room.
"Sister, I was training," Richard replied.
"Anyway, come with me," he added, grabbing her hand immediately after.
"What? Where to?" Lisa asked, confused.
"To meet the King and Empress," Richard replied, which shocked her even more.
"Meet the King and Empress? For what? Can you even meet them?" she asked.
"I'm going to ask the King and Empress for permission to get engaged to Lilith," Richard said.
Lisa: "..."

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC124: Say It
Chapter 124: Say It
Sister Lisa scratched her ear, even pressing it hard, as if to check whether she had just misheard something.
To her, Richard was the most unbelievable boy she had ever seen or heard of—but no matter what, in her eyes, he was still just a boy.
How could a boy have the audacity to want to get engaged to a fully grown princess?
"Richard, you—?" Lisa was at a loss for words.
But Richard simply kept pulling her along, hailing a carriage taxi, stepping inside, and instructing the coachman to take them to the royal palace.
Of course, the coachman assumed they just wanted to see the palace grounds, not enter it.
It wasn't uncommon for visitors from outside the capital to come there for sightseeing.
At night, the palace had a different kind of beauty—illuminated by bright, colorful lights from magical gemstones. But what drew the most attention were the star fireflies, nearly the size of sparrows, fluttering gracefully around the palace.
There were quite a few people visiting, though naturally, no one was taking pictures—there were no cameras in this world.
However, there were painters capable of creating portraits so realistic they looked like photographs.
Richard asked the coachman to drop them off in front of the main gate, which was still open but heavily guarded.
"Richard..." Sister Lisa, still being tugged along, looked worried.
Naturally, no one could just walk up and try to enter the palace gates without an invitation.
The last time she came here, she had followed Lilith, so there had been no problem at all.
But Richard strode forward without hesitation, stopping before the soldiers guarding the gate.
"Sir Richard..." The captain recognized him immediately, greeting him respectfully with a puzzled look, clearly wondering what his purpose was.
"I wish to meet the King and the Empress," Richard said casually.
Yet the captain didn't look surprised in the slightest when he heard that.
Instead, he nodded and replied, "Please wait a moment. I'll report to the head butler."
With that, the captain hurried off.
Lisa could only stand there, dumbfounded by everything she had just witnessed.
This was beyond even Richard's own expectations—but he figured that since the Empress herself had once personally invited him to dinner, his status within the kingdom clearly wasn't the same anymore.
Before long, the elderly butler from the other day—none other than the royal head butler—arrived with the captain.
"Sir Richard, please follow me. His Majesty and Her Majesty have granted you permission to enter," said the butler courteously, gesturing for him to come inside.
"Thank you," Richard replied, before following the butler and pulling Sister Lisa along, who was still in shock and completely dazed.
The butler clearly had no objection to him bringing someone else along.
He led them into the palace—to the same grand hall they had visited previously.
Inside were the blond-haired King and the red-haired Empress, speaking with an elderly man who appeared to be from another region within the Holy Star Kingdom.
The old man seemed to be giving a report to the King.
And he wasn't the only one—there were several others, most of them looking like officials from the capital or other provinces, waiting their turn to report.
When the King and Empress noticed Richard's arrival, they immediately asked the old man to pause his report and step aside.
Richard instantly became the center of attention.
Some of the officials recognized him, while others didn't.
Of course, once they began exchanging thoughts through their Sixth Sense, those who hadn't known him quickly realized who he was.
"Greetings, Your Majesty the King, Your Majesty the Empress," Richard said respectfully.
"Richard, what brings you here?" the Empress asked, smiling with curiosity.
When she asked that, Richard suddenly realized how impulsive he had been.
With his small body, to come here and ask to be engaged to an adult princess—it was far too bold. Even if the princess were still a child, it would still be absurd.
But this was a decision he had already made.
Taking a slow breath to steady himself, he answered calmly, "I came to ask for your blessing—to be engaged to Princess Lilith."
"What?"
"Seriously?"
"Did he just say what I think he said?"
The officials nearby looked utterly shocked, while Sister Lisa looked as if she wanted to crawl into a hole—unable to bear hearing such extreme words.
Even the King and Empress froze.
Perhaps they weren't unfamiliar with men coming to propose to Lilith, but normally, those men were around her age—or at least already adults.
Because they were in the royal presence, the officials didn't dare make a commotion.
Even so, both the King and Empress needed a moment before they could regain composure.
The King seemed too speechless to respond, so he glanced at the Empress, silently signaling for her to handle this.
"Richard, are you sure?" the Empress asked, doing her best to speak as though she weren't talking to a child.
Richard knew how awkward the situation was, but he forced himself to remain calm.
"Yes," he said with a nod, his tone firm and certain.
"This isn't something we can decide," the Empress said gently. "We don't practice arranged marriages. Even if we did, it would be difficult for us to make such a decision on behalf of a strong-willed princess like Lilith. In this matter, the choice lies entirely with her. Shall we call Lilith to hear her opinion? If she agrees, then of course, you two can be engaged."
"Yes..." Richard replied in the same calm tone, while the officials exchanged looks of disbelief, unsure how to even react.
"Very well, please wait until Lilith arrives," the Empress said.
Then she turned to look at the King.
He seemed to be the only one who could summon Lilith through a special method.
"Lilith will be here shortly," the King said.
As soon as those words left his lips, everyone in the hall instinctively turned toward the palace entrance.
They were all eager to see Lilith's reaction when she arrived and heard such an outrageous request.
Of course, an engagement between them could happen formally—an agreement first, followed by marriage when Richard became an adult.
But would Lilith truly accept a little boy now?

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC125: Condition
Chapter 125: Condition
Lilith, who had been summoned, arrived not long after.
She looked puzzled at being suddenly called by her father, the king.
When she saw Richard, her confusion turned to shock and then to interest.
She immediately realized she had been called because of Richard, but she couldn't guess what he was doing there.
She approached them with a constantly questioning expression, glancing back and forth between Richard, the King, and the Empress.
However, both the King and Empress still looked thoughtful.
"What is it that you called me for?" Lilith finally asked.
Of course, her gaze was fixed on the King as she asked, since it was he who had called her.
"Ehmm..." The King cleared his throat, seeming to decide that he would speak, because the relationship between the Empress and Lilith was somewhat awkward.
"Lilith, Richard says he wants to be engaged to you. What do you think?" the King said bluntly.
Lilith froze instantly, so stunned she didn't immediately show her surprise.
While frozen, she touched her ear and turned her head toward Richard.
Now it was clear she was questioning what she had just heard.
Maybe she thought she'd heard something utterly ridiculous.
She had teased Richard several times before, yet the boy always acted as if he were innocent—although sometimes he couldn't hide that he was attracted to her.
But to Lilith, that was normal. Children older than seven already begin to feel some interest in the opposite sex, so it wasn't surprising some would be infatuated with her.
Now this eight-year-old had actually come to the palace and asked to be engaged to her. What was wrong with his head to think of such a thing?
Lilith then looked at Lisa instead of asking Richard directly.
But Lisa also looked full of confusion and helplessness.
Lilith began to show an odd expression, staring at the King and Empress and wondering whether this was their arrangement, not Richard's idea.
But she saw that they looked equally surprised.
"Boy..." Lilith finally called to Richard.
"Sister Lilith—no, I mean Your Highness Lilith—I'm serious... I want to be officially engaged to you..." Richard spoke before Lilith could say anything.
Lilith was even more shocked.
For the first time, she truly didn't understand what was happening.
"Boy, what do you mean?" she asked.
"Aren't we going to be lovers when I grow up? You said that before, so I just want the betrothal status from now," Richard replied casually.
"What?" Even the King and Empress were astonished, not to mention everyone else.
They looked at Lilith with curiosity, wondering if what Richard said was true.
When everyone looked at her after Richard spoke, Lilith blushed slightly, still embarrassed that she had once said such a thing to a little boy.
Unfortunately for her, she actually had said it.
"Ehmm..." She coughed instinctively, which practically confirmed Richard's words.
"This is crazy," one official muttered.
"Does Princess Lilith really like what adult Richard would be like?"
"It appears so..."
"But he's still a child. We don't know what he'll be like as an adult—his personality isn't yet formed."
"Perhaps Princess Lilith is very optimistic about Richard's future."
"Still, it's strange to be closely involved with someone who's a child while already being familiar with their adult self."
"..."
The officials eventually couldn't hide their commentary, and Lilith looked increasingly awkward.
"Lilith, you decide," the king said again.
Lilith rolled her eyes.
Then she sent a message to Richard via their mental link.
(Boy, what exactly do you want?) she sent.
(Sister Lilith, this is what I want.), Richard replied casually.
(I mean, what's your purpose? Don't think I'm unaware you have a special reason.)
(There is a special reason, but I don't think it's important to say—this is my personal wish.)
(Are you aware this'll make people think poorly of me? You should wait till you're grown before trying something like this. Who would expect a little boy like you to ask for betrothal to me?)
(Sister Lilith, if you refuse, I might be ridiculed by everyone. Please just agree. Don't you want me anyway?)
Lilith, "..."
(Are you playing with me, boy?) she asked.
(No, of course not.)
(Why should I agree?)
(Sister, you can ask me for a favor.)
Richard knew he couldn't force her. It was impossible. The only way was to fulfill whatever she asked.
(Ohhh...) Her words this time grabbed Lilith's interest, and Richard grew a little worried she might ask something cruel—like killing the little prince, the Empress's son.
Even if the Empress disliked him, it would be hard for Lilith to go that far and kill an innocent child.
But in fact, the Empress had treated him kindly, so that possibility seemed unlikely.
(Forget it. You know what I want, but you won't do it.), Lilith answered.
(Sister, please ask for something else.)
(There is nothing else.)
Richard felt awkward and found it hard to say anything further.
(How about this: use your Slave Seal on the King, then give it to me.), Lilith proposed.
Richard, "..."
(Sister, are you insane?) Richard asked with wide eyes.
Everyone knew they were communicating silently, though no one could hear their words.
But Richard's expression made the others wonder.
If they had heard what Lilith wanted, they would have been even more shocked.
(This is the only thing I want.), Lilith replied.
(The King is very powerful; that's not something I can do.), Richard protested.
(That's why you must think of a way.), Lilith said.
(This is a serious crime.), he objected.
(Don't worry—I won't use the King for anything bad. Once I get what I want, I'll free him from the bondage. Don't think me so wretched as to enslave my father forever.)
(Boy, you certainly can't do it alone, but what about that dangerous being behind you? They should be capable of it.), Lilith added.
When she said that, Richard immediately remembered the Fire Spirit Queen, who was practically under his control. Of course, he could order her to carry out such a task.
The King, who was supposedly only at the Grimoire Realm, was nothing more than an ant in the eyes of the Fire Spirit Queen. It would be no different even if the King were at the Lord Realm.
Even though the King possessed many trump cards, if the Fire Spirit Queen made a surprise move, he would likely still be powerless to resist.
However, it still wouldn't be easy to pull off such a thing within the capital.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC126: Slave
Chapter 126: Slave
(I'll plan it out later, but you have to accept the engagement first,) Richard replied after a moment of thought.
(I trust you, boy. But don't take too long.)
(Yes... But can you make the King leave the capital? Or better yet, go to the Eight-Star Province.)
(That's easy...)
After saying that, Lilith turned her gaze toward the King—her own father.
Her expression showed that she already had an answer, which made both the King and Queen curious.
Before responding, she nodded slightly.
"I accept it. You may officially announce the engagement, but there's no need for a troublesome ceremony—just make it public," Lilith said calmly.
When those words left her lips, everyone in the hall froze in disbelief.
'I should probably leave now,' Richard thought, stepping away while pulling Sister Lisa along, confident that no one would try to stop him.
He knew this would cause quite a stir, and the news would spread like wildfire.
Though his goal was to hurt Charles's pride, it was obvious that he wouldn't be the only one feeling heartbroken—almost every man in the capital would.
Naturally, Richard returned straight to his inn, not even giving Sister Lisa a chance to say a word.
Once in his room, he wrote a letter to the Fire Spirit Queen, informing her of her task and describing the King's appearance in detail.
To ensure the letter reached her quickly, he ordered Athena to deliver it, along with the Slave Seal that had already been fused with his blood.
Later, he would transfer ownership of the Slave Seal to Lilith.
At full speed, Athena could reach the Purple Rose Village in a few hours—perhaps even less—since Richard didn't know her exact speed. But he trusted that very few beings could ever catch her, given that she was a Tier 37 Primordial Beast specializing in speed and carrying the Royal Bloodline.
Just after Athena departed, Lilith entered his room through the window.
"Boy, what's the plan?" Lilith asked directly.
"Don't worry. Once the King reaches the Eight-Star Province, he'll be captured, and the Slave Seal will be implanted in his body," Richard replied casually.
"So, has the King already gone to the Eight-Star Province?" Richard asked next.
"He's gone," Lilith answered.
"That fast!" Richard was stunned.
He couldn't help but wonder how Lilith had tricked the King so quickly.
But what concerned him now was whether the King might arrive there earlier than expected.
Even though Athena's speed was extraordinary, Richard knew the King was still faster due to his far higher level.
However, he assumed the King wouldn't return immediately upon arrival.
Time passed, and far away in Purple Rose Village, everything remained calm.
In the forest behind the village, Aldric's wooden cabin had become quite grand despite being built from simple materials.
Aldric himself was often away, and no one knew where he'd gone this time.
The Fire Spirit Queen, however, had been ordered to remain there—though her beautiful face constantly displayed an expression of irritation, as if holding a grudge against the entire world.
She wasn't dead, but awakening as a slave and then a complete one had left deep scars on her pride.
She often wished the world would just collapse, killing everyone along with her.
"Hmm..." While lost in thought on the balcony, she was startled by the sudden arrival of a winged horse.
The Fire Spirit Queen instantly recognized it as Richard's steed.
Its evolution hadn't changed its aura enough to escape her recognition.
She frowned slightly, wondering what business the creature had.
The horse landed before her and placed Richard's letter at her feet.
Naturally, the Fire Spirit Queen read it.
"What is this nonsense? Does he plan to throw the kingdom into chaos by enslaving its King?" she muttered after finishing the letter, quickly understanding the entire situation.
Annoyed though she was by being given orders, she immediately took to the sky, carrying Athena with her, rising high above the clouds.
Athena then handed her the Slave Seal.
The Fire Spirit Queen accepted it without even looking at it—just seeing the artifact stirred her trauma.
Her gaze turned toward the vast land below. With a single glance, she could see not one, but several provinces at once. The darkness of the night did not limit her gaze at all.
She was simply that powerful—a being whose presence alone could cause disasters.
If she wished, her gaze alone could make the land tremble endlessly.
She observed quietly, waiting. The King, it seemed, wasn't traveling too fast, allowing Athena to arrive ahead of him.
And she didn't have to wait long.
Soon, she spotted a blond-haired man in a red cloak flying in the distance—perfectly matching Richard's description.
"Hmph!" she snorted coldly, looking at the King as though he were an insect. She felt humiliated to have to lower herself to deal with such a being—but she had no choice.
Whoosh!
She took a single step.
To her, there was no need for spells—only sheer physical power.
In that one step, she appeared behind the King, and her mere gaze shook his body to the core, rendering him completely powerless.
In the next instant, the King lost consciousness.
Every function in his body was shut down by her overwhelming presence alone.
Calmly, she placed the Slave Seal upon his neck.
"Take him to your master," the Fire Spirit Queen commanded coldly, tossing the unconscious King onto Athena's back and covering him with a thick black cloth.
With the King's aura suppressed and his energy seemingly extinguished, no one would ever suspect that the figure on the horse was the ruler of the Holy Star Kingdom.
Whoosh!
Athena departed swiftly.
As a Beast, she felt immense pressure merely being near the Fire Spirit Queen.
The latter frowned slightly before flying back toward Aldric's cabin.
And with that, everything was completed easily.
Before absolute power, all things were meaningless.
Richard and Lilith, of course, knew nothing of what had happened.
They remained waiting in silence.
Richard believed the results would come soon, and so he frequently glanced toward the window.
Lilith, on the other hand, often looked at him with a blank expression, making it impossible to tell what she was thinking.
After some time, Richard was startled when he saw Athena returning at high speed—with a figure covered in black cloth on her back.
Lilith was a little late to react, but she too was visibly shocked.
Athena flew straight through the window and lowered the figure she carried.
When the black cloth fell away, the truth was revealed.
"It actually worked," Lilith said in disbelief.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC127: Quarrel
Chapter 127: Quarrel
Besides being surprised, Richard was also fascinated.
The king — the ruler of this kingdom — had actually become his slave.
It was hard for him to imagine, even though it was now a reality.
"Boy, quickly transfer the ownership of the Slave Seal to me," Lilith suddenly spoke, showing the drop of blood that dripped from her fingertip.
The transfer of the Slave Seal's ownership wasn't difficult. Lilith only needed to place her blood on the Seal, and Richard had to allow it to merge with it. That would change its ownership.
However, Richard felt an odd heaviness in doing so.
After all, the one who was now a slave was the king himself.
But he couldn't go back on his promise — one that would practically strengthen their connection.
"Go ahead," Richard said, allowing Lilith to place her blood on the Slave Seal.
For a moment, Lilith gave him a sharp look, clearly sensing his hesitation.
She then let a drop of her blood fall onto the Slave Seal, and Richard permitted it to merge.
Immediately, he felt the loss of control over the Slave Seal.
"Sister Lilith, what are you going to do exactly?" Richard couldn't help but ask.
"In short, I'm going to make sure the kingdom's special inheritance is granted to me — not that little prince. Even in this kingdom's history, only the two of us are compatible with the inheritance." Lilith answered, though she didn't specify what kind of inheritance it was.
"I'm leaving now." She grabbed the king's unconscious body and vanished from Richard's sight in an instant — or rather, she moved far too fast.
Richard sat on his bed, lost in thought, until he eventually drifted into a deep, comfortable sleep, dreaming of conquering the world.
By the time morning light filled the room, he woke up feeling completely refreshed.
"Ahh..." He sighed softly, blinking a few times.
"When will Olivia return?" he wondered aloud as he sat up.
Even though he suspected she had tricked him, he still looked forward to seeing her plan unfold.
But it had been quite some time now — and she still hadn't come to him.
Richard couldn't deny feeling a little irritated.
He went to the bathroom, changed into fresh clothes, and left his inn.
"Who do you think will win, Gray or Luca in the finals?"
"It's definitely Luca. Gray shocked everyone, sure, but Luca's foundation is way stronger. He's won every match easily so far."
Richard overheard people talking about the tournament, and it surprised him.
It was the third day — the day of the finals.
Had Gray really made it to the final?
He found that hard to believe, considering Gray was only at Aether Tier 2.
But rather than hearing about the tournament, most people were actually discussing his engagement with Lilith.
The news had spread, though many doubted its authenticity since no celebration had been held.
However, since the news came directly from the palace and no one denied it, soon everyone would believe it was true.
Richard entered a restaurant that offered private rooms, ordered one, and requested a large meal.
If he had no other plans, he intended to continue training — and for that, he needed a full stomach.
He ate roast chicken, boiled seafood, and drank several refreshing beverages.
He finished everything quickly, so full that he could barely move.
But his body absorbed the food so efficiently that he felt light and comfortable again shortly after.
He stood up and exited the restaurant.
"Hmm..." Just as he stepped outside, he saw a procession of luxurious carriages, all bearing the emblem of a red star.
They weren't moving along the streets — they were flying in the air, drawn by winged horses and escorted by knights on similar mounts.
Clearly, they were from the royal palace — and judging by the red star symbol, likely the empress's procession.
After all, the empress held the title Red Star Empress.
Richard wondered where they were headed at such a time, when the empress should've been at the tournament finals alongside the king.
"Could there be an important matter she has to take care of?" Richard mused.
Of course, he couldn't follow them.
He simply strolled around, avoiding the direction of the coliseum.
"Hey, I heard the King and the Empress had a fight — and the Empress decided to leave the palace, taking the young prince with her."
Suddenly, Richard overheard two palace guards chatting as they walked past.
Those words startled him.
"What caused them to fight? Usually, even if they argue, the Empress never leaves the palace."
"I'm not sure, but it seems it's about inheritance."
"..."
When Richard heard that it was about inheritance, his expression turned strange.
'So that's what happened,' he thought, beginning to understand the situation. He hadn't expected things to escalate so quickly — or to make the empress that furious.
'Even though the kingdom has elders and a few ancestors, the final decision likely still rests with the king... unless it's because both heirs are his children.'
In a family, such conflicts were hardly unusual — and Richard could only pretend it had nothing to do with him.
As he continued walking, something caught his eye: a massive Magic Shop.
It was the largest he had ever seen — a grand building with an entire front wall made of transparent glass.
It seemed newly opened and was still quite empty.
Richard entered, browsing around to see if there was anything useful.
The variety of items was overwhelming. He even saw several Tier 4 weapons — though they couldn't be purchased with Nature Spirit energy, only through trade with rare artifacts.
There were also many Sky Armors, including unique types like Sister Lisa's.
Some of them were massive — up to ten meters tall — and appeared capable of enlarging their users' bodies.
"Young Master, is there anything you're looking for?" one of the shop attendants approached him — a young woman, probably seventeen, beautiful and composed, with her hair neatly tied up.
"Do you sell anything that can help me become one with the world?" Richard asked.
It was said that such a thing could only be achieved through one's own effort — but Richard didn't fully believe there were no magical items in existence that could help.
Since he was in a Magic Shop, he figured it was worth asking — even if it was a long shot.
Naturally, his words left the attendant completely stunned.
