"Hey, these are the things I promised you last time," Conan said, pouring a pile of items onto the desk. "Detective Badges!"
"Wow! So cool!" Genta exclaimed, picking up a Detective Badge.
"Th-this... did you really make these?" Ayumi said, a bit disbelieving.
"Professor Agasa and Yuu helped me make them," Conan explained. "They're just right for you brats, heh heh."
"I get one too?" Haibara was quite surprised to see Ayumi hand her a Detective Badge.
"Of course, Haibara is also a member of our Junior Detective League!" Ayumi said with great certainty.
"Is that so?" Haibara gazed at the Detective Badge, lost in thought.
Just then, Genta suddenly announced loudly, "Alright! Everyone, immediate action!!"

"It's a cat!" Mitsuhiko said.
"We don't have time to help you find a cat. It'll probably come back on its own," Ayumi said dismissively.

The boy, who was about to turn and leave, pulled out a few cards. "And here I was going to offer you Masked Rider cards as a reward!" He showed the cards in his hand to the three. "Look, these are them!!"

"Who are you?" Genta and the two others asked nervously.
"He's Shinichi's good friend, Gen Yuu. He's currently living at the Professor's house. He and the Professor made our Detective Badges together," Conan explained.
"You can call me Big Brother Yuu!" Yuu greeted them.
"Okay." The three agreed.
After searching for an hour.
"I say, when are we going to find that cat? Doesn't your pet have any distinguishing features?" Genta asked, looking annoyed.
The boy thought for a moment. "Xiaoguang's meow is different from other cats, it's very unique, like this: Goo-meow!" The boy imitated his cat's meow.
"Goo-meow!" Then everyone heard the same sound. The boy said, "Yes! Yes! That's the sound!"
Everyone looked around. "It's that house!" Ayumi pointed to a building.
The boy ran to the house's entrance and shouted inside, "Xiaoguang!! Is that you?"
After that, a cat's head really poked out from one of the house's windows. "It's really Xiaoguang!!" the boy said, looking delighted.
But when its whole body emerged, everyone was startled because Xiaoguang was completely covered in blood. Xiaoguang meowed and ran to the boy's feet. Yuu picked up the cat and examined it carefully. "The cat isn't injured, this is human blood."
"What? Could it be..." Conan's heart tightened. He immediately climbed over the main gate, placed a trash can beneath the window, and peered inside. A person, covered in blood, was sprawled next to the bathtub, their head submerged in the water.
"Whoa!!" Genta and the others who had followed saw the scene and ran out of the house in fright. Yuu glanced at Conan. "Shinichi, quickly call the police. I'll watch the kids."
Conan nodded, then pulled out his phone and called Inspector Megure.
"Did you call the police? Did you really find a body?" Inspector Megure, who had arrived quickly, asked the Junior Detective League.
Conan, sitting atop the phone booth, nodded. "Inspector Megure, there's no mistake. Since we found the body, no one has entered or exited that house, so the body must still be in there!!"
"Isn't this Yuu? Aren't you..." Inspector Megure was surprised to see Yuu, as he had known Yuu for a long time.
"I'll explain my situation later, Inspector Megure. For now, let's solve this case," Yuu said.
"Mm," Inspector Megure nodded. "Quickly search this house!" Inspector Megure ordered the other police officers.
"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!" The doorbell rang incessantly.
"Open up! We're the police!" Inspector Megure said loudly.
A middle-aged man wearing a bathrobe opened the door. "What do you want?! You're making too much noise!!"
Inspector Megure pointed at the Junior Detective League. "These children say they saw a body at your residence."
