Ayumi suddenly spoke up, "That's a nesting doll, isn't it?"
"Nesting doll?" Pu Siqinglan didn't quite understand what Ayumi was saying.
Ayumi continued, "We have those dolls at home; my dad's friend bought them for me from Russia."
Mouri asked curiously, "What kind of nesting doll?"
"It's a Russian toy called a matryoshka doll, where smaller dolls are placed inside larger ones." Yuu explained to Mouri.
Shirogane understood, "That's right! Look, these grooves inside are for fixing them."
"Damn it, if only we had that egg!" Mouri felt that without the egg here, whatever they said was useless.
"We have that egg!" Officer Shiratori, however, gave everyone a surprise.
"Ah!?" Mouri and Conan both looked at Officer Shiratori in astonishment.
"I anticipated it would be needed, so I borrowed it from President Suzuki." Officer Shiratori said, taking the egg out of his bag.
Mouri, with his face very close to Officer Shiratori's, said, "You didn't secretly take it, did you?"
"Seriously, how could that be?!" Officer Shiratori retreated slightly.
"Let's try it right away." Shirogane took the egg from Officer Shiratori.
Seeing the two eggs combine easily, Mouri exclaimed in delight, "It went in."
Shirogane carefully examined the Egg of Recollection. "It seems Mr. Kichiza didn't make two eggs, but rather one egg divided into two."
Haibara noticed Conan's still solemn expression. "You still seem to have questions?" Haibara turned around. "What are your thoughts, you big mercenary who keeps staring at women?"

"Mr. Shirogane, lend me the Egg of Recollection!" Conan said, taking the Egg of Recollection from Shirogane.

"What exactly are you doing?" Mouri completely failed to understand what Conan was doing.
"Just watch!" Conan placed the Egg of Recollection on the light, then stepped away.
"This... could it be..." Seeing Conan's actions, Yuu suddenly recalled the shock he felt when watching this theatrical version in another world.
After a while, the Egg of Recollection began to glow faintly, but then it became transparent. Through the now transparent shell of the Egg of Recollection, everyone saw the golden sculpture of the imperial family slowly rising from within the Egg of Recollection.
Shirogane exclaimed in surprise, "The Emperor Doll actually rose!"
"The interior of the Egg of Recollection is designed with a light meter." Officer Shiratori understood the mechanism.
The Emperor's golden sculpture had its book pages open. The structure of the Egg of Recollection was clearly visible. The glass at the top shot out light in all directions, and pictures were projected onto the ceiling.

Zabe explained to Natsumi, "Only that photo was taken in Japan. Mr. Kichiza probably added it later."
