There was once a writer who sat on their desk, papers everywhere they turned.... the wood gently creaking beneath their weight as they look around.... no room even for their precious cup of coffee....

•"Hmmm".
The writer thought to themselves once again. They loved creativity & expressing themselves through writing has been a profound joy for them. But they also liked other creative activities like sports, cooking, & whatever drew their curiosity. They had to do something about their lifestyle soon.... actually, no time was better than the present.

•"Hmmm"
They thought to themselves once again. And a light of stoic resolve shone in their eyes.
•"I'd probably need some place to think broadly about my routine & take note of my activity such that I can optimize my schedule & attendence."

Having arrived at said conclusion, they picked up a fresh notebook and scribbled something on the front cover.

Simple Journal

Note: Please don't be confused, The writer decided to document their journal in third person in hopes that other writers, especially newbies, would be able to easily relate to the Journal and absorb the experience efficiently, as the writer always made sure to filter out the presence of their "ego" & thin out their "identity" from the script, so much that it's gender neutral so all may relate to the experience easily. It takes a toll of consciousness while writing, avoiding gender & identity icons like "I" wrote" , "happened to "me", etc

It's so early in the morning that the sun hasn't risen yet but quite soon it would.


.... It seems that the writer had gotten so carried away with excitement working on their project that they ended up pulling an all nighter.


This is not good for health, worst part is that it gets familiar & addictive if the pattern repeats a few times over.


Well, as the Japanese say, if we're on the wrong train then we must do what we can to get off at the nearest station.


This is our responsibility to hold ourselves accountable for negligence as we should autonomously seek to uphold ourselves to certain standards, be they biological, moral, social or personal. The point is to be proactive about it.


The writer felt the fatigue was slowly starting to creep in, so they got to clearing up their workspace & laying their bed.


They needed the rest after working for so long, and missing the proper quiet night sleep was bound to take its toll on their body so this relief was non-negotiable or they'd risk falling into an unhealthy routine that would gradually degrade their lifestyle & inevitably impact their work roughly.


Of course, if it's done as recreational & relaxation activity, then a few pages of writing wouldn't hurt, hehehe.


Hm? What kind of recreational activities?


The wha~at? THE GRIND. Oh yeah! The grind! The grind! The grind! The grind!


Tomorrow!! The grind goes on tomorrow!!
