Monica's POV
The interrogation at the police station dragged on for nearly four hours. Tyler's mother sobbed uncontrollably as she begged her son to confess everything. Her tearful apology for her son's actions touched me, and even Morris was moved enough to offer her better healthcare.
Tyler proved surprisingly forthcoming. He explained that he'd met Felix through his friend Clive Capiberibe, who had relocated from Bellwood to Paradise Port after turning eighteen. Tyler admitted Felix had paid him handsomely to sabotage the helicopter three months before the crash that killed Morris's parents. Felix even financed Tyler's helicopter maintenance course specifically to teach him how to cause the "accident."
"I did other jobs for Felix too," Tyler continued. "Finding front men, showing up where he couldn't, lending names and accounts for money laundering."
