Chapter 221: Jashin-chan, You're So Lewd!
At 9:35 PM, Ryohei Tanaka, Yurine Hanazono, and Lucoa arrived at the mountain villa in Hokkaido, carrying their toiletries and a change of clothes.
The living room was brightly lit. Jashin-chan, Minos, and JII were all there.
Jashin-chan was engrossed in a handheld game, while Minos and JII were watching TV. Ryohei glanced over and saw it was a program introducing local culture... no, local food.
"Hmm?"
Noticing them arrive through the portal, Minos turned her head in surprise. She was wearing a cow-print tank top and matching shorts that revealed a large amount of her pale skin—a very eye-catching sight.
"Is the restaurant closed already? Are you two staying here tonight?"
"No, we're just here to use the hot spring," Ryohei waved his hand, openly admiring Minos. If her outfit had any less fabric, it would qualify as lingerie; it already had that vibe. Plus, the fact that her horns and tail were all-natural was a great bonus.
"Have you all used the hot spring already?" Yurine asked, sighing helplessly at Minos's "casual" attire.
"We did!" JII replied adorably, her voice clear and cheerful. "We went right after it got dark... Jashin-chan even found some eggs in the kitchen and made onsen tamago, and we brought some blueberries with us."
"You certainly know how to enjoy yourselves," Ryohei teased with a smile.
"Of course~." JII's lips curved upward, and she lifted her chin with a hint of pride.
Minos, sitting cross-legged on the sofa with her long white legs, gestured as if holding a wine glass. "It's too bad we couldn't find any alcohol. A little drink would have made it perfect~."
(In truth, they had found some cooking wine in the kitchen, but nothing suitable for drinking.)
"Totally," Jashin-chan, who had been buried in her game, suddenly looked up to agree.
Ryohei looked at the two of them with a helpless smile. It wasn't advisable to drink in a hot spring, but then again, they were demons. One was incredibly tough, and the other was immortal, so a little alcohol wouldn't hurt them.
"Ta-da~."
Just then, Lucoa made a playful, alluring sound. She retrieved four bottles of plum wine from her dimension, dangling them from her fingers with a grin. "If you wanted a drink, you could have just told me. I wouldn't have minded bringing some over... But for now, you'll just have to let me enjoy it in your place!"
"Tch—!" Jashin-chan glared at Lucoa. "A little late for that! Easy for you to say..."
"Too late!" Minos, ever the echo, chimed in.
Ryohei looked at the slightly mischievous Lucoa, then at Yurine. "Do you two want any onsen eggs or blueberries?"
"No, thanks." Yurine shook her head. She tried not to eat after 8 PM, afraid of gaining weight.
"Hmm... I'll have some blueberries," Lucoa said. She didn't want an egg, but some refreshing fruit sounded nice.
"Okay, we'll pick some on the way," Ryohei said, heading for the door. Lucoa and Yurine followed.
"Eh?" Jashin-chan, Minos, and JII suddenly realized what was happening. "Wait, are you all going to the hot spring together?"
'No way! Seriously? Yurine agreed to that?' The three of them stared at the group.
The "Scum Snake" (Jashin-chan) blushed bright red and pointed, sputtering, "How lewd! Behave yourselves! The hot spring is for soaking, not for doing... other things!"
"You're the one who needs to watch what she's saying!" Yurine, also blushing, grabbed a bar of soap from her bag and threw it.
Smack!
The soap hit Jashin-chan squarely on the forehead, knocking her flat on her back.
Ryohei looked at the "punished" Jashin-chan, exasperated, and quickly explained, "We're going to wear swimsuits..."
On the way home from the restaurant, Lucoa had successfully convinced Yurine, using excuses like "it's lonely and sad to soak alone" and "don't exclude me." The one condition, however, was that everyone had to wear a swimsuit.
Ryohei had been hoping for some "onsen play" with Yurine, but that was out the window. Yurine would never agree to that in front of Lucoa. Still, it didn't matter. They owned the hot spring now; he'd get his chance eventually.
Minos, hearing the explanation, understood. So that's why Yurine agreed...
Ryohei, feeling completely justified, pointed at Jashin-chan and strongly condemned her. "I have to say, Jashin-chan, your mind is just too filthy! What on earth are you thinking about all day!"
"Jashin-chan, you're so lewd!" JII chimed in, looking at Jashin-chan, who was now sitting up, rubbing her forehead.
"What? How am I lewd? How is this my fault?" Jashin-chan recoiled, feeling incredibly wronged. "They didn't say they were wearing swimsuits! It's normal for my mind to go there, right?"
"It's normal to wonder, but not to jump to your conclusion. You're just lewd," Ryohei declared, officially labeling her before he left with the girls.
Jashin-chan was left fuming. She argued with Minos and JII for a few moments, then took her frustration out on the monsters in her video game.
