Seraphina POV
While I was thinking of a solution, Albert hesitated for just a moment before suggesting, "Madam, why don't you go to Master's office and get the signature on this form?"
I stared at him, certain I'd heard wrong. "Me? Going to his office? N-No... How can I?" I waved my hands frantically. "Albert, why don't you—"
"Madam," he interrupted politely, but firmly. "Didn't you say this morning you needed something from the Master? You can get the signature on Little Miss's form and at the same time, get the thing you needed."
I opened my mouth to argue, then closed it. He had a point. I did need that phone and ID. Who knew if Hazel would hire someone else? And if I didn't go, Alicia would miss her camping trip, and she'd be heartbroken.
But still...
"What if..." I bit my lip, feeling anxiety creep up my spine. "What if they stop me?"
Albert smiled reassuringly. "Madam, you are married to Master. His office is also your office. No one has the right to stop you."
