The Leo-kin god's form collapsed.
For a moment, there was nothing but crimson fire and silver light, tangled together in a dying spiral. Then the fire fled, retreating, howling with fury, vanishing into the depths of the spiritual realm.
And the silver light remained.
It was barely visible now, a single ember floating in the vast darkness. Its form was broken. Its power was spent. But it was still there.
It was still alive, unlike the molten embers.
"I took his form," it whispered to no one. "That should prevent him from wreaking havoc again. However, this hasn't ended. He will rise again once he finds another vessel."
The ember flickered, his consciousness fading.
"Urgh~" It grunted, struggling to keep his consciousness from fading. "But I'm broken."
The ancient soul could tell that it wouldn't be long before it lost its consciousness. Though it tried to cling to its consciousness, it knew it wouldn't be able to.
