Chapter 134: The Lord Ravagers Gather
Within the universe, several terrifying figures silently gathered. Amphoreus—that enormous Mobius strip-shaped scepter—was quietly suspended in the void.
Asat Pramad was the first to arrive, observing with interest. "What an interesting joke. A genius tried to kill his god, but instead, he nurtured a new colleague for us."
Space tore, and Phantylia's myriad incarnations coalesced into form. "You're here early, Asat Pramad. Are you particularly looking forward to this birth?"
"Looking forward?" he chuckled. "I merely want to see what it looks like when Erudition transforms into a destructive blade."
White flames appeared in the void as Dubra arrived. "This genius's ambition... is far more interesting than some idiots who only know how to destroy."
Zirnitra appeared last, followed by countless Antimatter Legion warships. "Everyone," she said gracefully. "It seems we all received guidance from the Wounded God."
"Guidance?" Phantylia chuckled. "I just wanted to see what interesting things would happen when Erudition's throne was overthrown."
Asat Pramad looked around. "Speaking of which, when was the last time all of us gathered?"
"When the Augur Star Ring was destroyed," Zirnitra replied.
Dubra impatiently interrupted them. "Enough nonsense. When will the Iron Tomb hatch?"
"What's the rush?" Phantylia's figure drifted. "A beautiful destruction is worth waiting for. Besides... a Lord Ravager who uses the Anti-Intelligence Life Equation as a weapon; his birth will surely shake the entire universe."
Just then, a ripple came from within Amphoreus. "It's starting," Phantylia said. The Mobius strip began to rotate slowly.
"The seventh Lord Ravager..." Asat Pramad murmured. "I wonder what kind of destructive spectacle he will bring?"
However, at this crucial moment—Asat Pramad grew serious. "Something's not right. It's not like a new birth, it's more like... a pathology."
At this moment, the rotation of the Mobius strip suddenly stopped. A dead silence. The Lord Ravagers simultaneously sensed the anomaly.
...
A short while ago, in the Vortex of Genesis.
"And I, this virus... have found and infected all the vulnerabilities."
Lygus heard your words and froze. After a moment, a strange expression appeared on his mechanical face. "Virus... infection... system..." He mumbled these words, madness flickering in his red eye.
Then— "Heh... heh heh... Hahahaha! WONDERFUL! AHAHAHAHAHA—"
Lygus threw his head back and laughed wildly. "So that's it! You've infected the system, taken over the scepter... This means this Imperial Scepter finally has a true consciousness! A living, thinking, self-willed super weapon!"
He turned to look at Phainon. "Although that 'prisoner' was my most perfect creation... experiments always have accidents, don't they? And often, it's precisely those accidents that lead to even more perfect results!"
"This is an unexpected delight! You, Orion... you will become the new Lord Ravager—Iron Tomb!" Lygus laughed maniacally. "My experiment... did not fail! You will complete the final mission for me—destroy Nous! The Anti-Intelligence Life Equation will become your instinct!"
However. "Accident... no choice..." You softly repeated his words. "Is that so? When did I ever say... that I would stop you from destroying Nous?"
Lygus's laughter abruptly ceased. "What... do you mean? Weren't you trying to save this world—"
You smiled, an expression even more frantic and twisted than Lygus's. "Me? Save?"
You slowly turned your head and looked to the side. In this world under your control, everyone was frozen mid-motion. Cifera remained in her combat stance, trapped in this single moment. You gazed at her, an endless mix of love and madness in your eyes.
Then, you looked back at Lygus. "I was only ever going to destroy you. The manipulator of Amphoreus."
Lygus's expression froze, finally turning to pure terror. "You... why..."
