Chapter 139: Seele: You have a new love?!
"It can be like this?!"
Originally, upgrading[Lord Ravager]required 20,000 villain points, but now it only needs one Stellaron? Is the system pitying me and giving it away for free? And right now, on Yarilo-VI, there happens to be a Stellaron!
"System Bro, you're really a good system!" Orion couldn't help but smile. This was simply like getting a pillow when one was sleepy.
He had already planned to come into contact with the Stellaron, and now the system had given him a direct mission. All he had to do was find a way to get the Stellaron after the Astral Express crew arrived. Moreover, if he could join the Astral Express later, wouldn't Stellarons be plentiful?
At that time, when[Lord Ravager]was upgraded to red quality, that power...
Orion inhaled deeply, suppressing the excitement in his heart. He couldn't be too hasty; everything had to proceed according to plan. He opened his attribute panel to check his current status:
[Host Attribute Panel]
[Name: Orion]
[Constitution: 18]
[Strength: 320]
[Agility: 20]
[Charm: 26]
[Loaded Permanent Entries: Perfect Replication (Red), Memory Armament (Gold), Word Devouring (Gold), Golden Threads of Fate (Gold), Lord Ravager (Purple), Stealth (Blue), Eloquent Speech (Blue), Rampage (Blue)]
[Remaining Villain Points: 12,300]
Over 12,000 villain points... Very good. This time, I'll be a hoarder and save them up. By the next simulation, I should be able to exchange for Red-level entries.
Closing the system interface, Orion looked around the empty room. This mansion, located in the Belobog Overworld, was purchased with the 'filial piety' of those nobles. Though a bit desolate, he was satisfied.
He and Bronya had established a deep friendship. He had earned Supreme Guardian Cocolia's absolute trust by helping relieve her headaches. He secretly controlled the Wildfire organization in the Underworld. Everything was progressing steadily.
Next, he and Bronya would go to the Belobog Officer Academy to learn combat skills. Then, it was time to wait for the Astral Express to arrive.
A few days later, that evening, Cocolia arrived at his residence as promised.
"How have you been feeling lately?" Orion asked softly as he massaged her temples, the familiar black aura being absorbed by him.
"Much better… That voice hasn't appeared for a long time," Cocolia said, her eyes closed.
"Madam Cocolia, there's something I'd like to discuss with you. I suggest… completely lifting the blockade between the Overworld and Underworld."
Cocolia suddenly opened her eyes. "Why bring this up suddenly?"
Orion's expression became serious. "As you know, I come from the Underworld. I once promised a friend there to bring her to the Overworld to live a better life. Moreover, lifting the blockade will only benefit Belobog. The Underworld can provide more labor."
"But… the geode veins in the Underworld are already almost depleted," Cocolia frowned.
"Please rest assured," Orion said with certainty. "In a few years, the cold wave might have receded a bit, and we can send out exploration teams to look for new mineral veins outside. There's no need to worry about resource depletion."
Of course, he couldn't tell her that the Astral Express would arrive in a few years, reconnecting Belobog with the galaxy. But for now, he just needed a reason Cocolia would believe.
After a long silence, she finally nodded. "Alright, I trust your judgment."
Three days later, Qliphoth Fort issued an edict—the blockade was officially lifted! When the news reached the Underworld, the entire underground erupted in celebration.
Orion immediately sent a letter to Seele. "Come to the Overworld, Seele. I've prepared a new home for you."
…
That afternoon, Orion was organizing furniture in a room he had specially prepared for Seele. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. He walked over and, looking through the peephole, saw that familiar figure.
Black-blue short hair, purplish-red eyes. It was Seele.
A smile appeared on his face, and he was about to open the door—
Whoosh!
The door was violently pushed open, and a cold gleam flashed! Orion's pupils constricted, and his body instinctively leaned back. A sharp scythe blade grazed past the tip of his nose, bringing with it a fierce gust of wind.
"Seele, what is this?!" he asked, his face full of surprise as the girl rushed in.
Seele didn't answer, swinging the scythe again.
Orion quickly dodged, retreating rapidly. "Wait! Let's talk this out!"
"Talk this out?" Seele finally spoke, her eyes filled with long-suppressed emotions. "Two years ago, a certain jerk left a bag of money and a crumpled note and ran off. How am I supposed to talk this out?!"
As she spoke, she continued to pursue him, each attack perfectly missing. Another scythe slash came down, scratching the floor.
"Shut up!" Seele kicked over the sofa. "Do you know how much I wanted to beat you up when I saw that note? Two years! A whole two years! Did you really never once think of coming back to see me?"
The scythe swung out again. Though her attacks were fierce, Orion could feel she didn't really want to hurt him. They seemed more like an outlet for her emotions.
"Seele, listen to me…"
"No!" Seele suddenly stopped, her chest heaving. She stared intently at Orion, her eyes filled with anger, grievance, and a hint of hurt.
"Now I only ask you one thing." Her voice became a little shaky. "I heard… you got a girlfriend in the Overworld. Silver-haired, the Supreme Guardian's adopted daughter, the heir. Is… is it true?"
The room suddenly fell silent. She bit her lower lip tightly, that stubborn yet fragile look reminding him of their days together. Even now, facing her fears, she only used anger to hide her inner unease.
"Answer me!" Seeing his silence, Seele's voice rose. The scythe was raised again, its blade glinting coldly. "Yes, or no?"
