Chapter 153: Belobog's Emanator
However, the journey back was not peaceful. Scattered Antimatter Legion Voidrangers, gradually awakening from their long hibernation, instinctively attacked all living things.
Finally, March 7th couldn't suppress her curiosity. "Um, little brother Orion… that sword strike of yours earlier was too amazing." She mysteriously lowered her voice. "You wouldn't happen to be… some Emanator, living in seclusion in Belobog, would you?"
"Snacks?" Orion looked bewildered. "What are you talking about? Belobog's special snacks?"
"Not snacks! It's Ema…" March 7th was about to explain, but seeing his confused expression, she swallowed her words. This… it doesn't seem like it.
Dan Heng spoke calmly from the side. "She's asking if you're an alien."
"Oh, that's what she meant," Orion smiled. "I'm a native Belobogian, grew up in the Underworld. You can ask Seele."
"Then why are you so powerful?"
"…Maybe I just have good talent."
March 7th: "Just good talent? Damn it, I can't accept that!"
Stelle quietly walked at the back, her gaze always fixed on Orion. It was impossible for her to have met him before… unless it was before she lost her memory. Forget it. She shook her head. Anyway, Orion is a good person… and he's really handsome…
The battle resumed, but with Orion's overwhelming combat power, these Voidrangers were quickly dealt with. Taking advantage of a respite, March 7th asked, "By the way, why are there so many Antimatter Legion Voidrangers?"
"Could it be… that a Lord Ravager is attacking Belobog?"
"No," Dan Heng shook his head, pointing at the remains. "Look closely, these all have traces of frost. They came from the ice."
"Exactly," Bronya took over. "According to historical records, 700 years ago, the Antimatter Legion launched a large-scale invasion. At the most critical moment, a cold wave suddenly descended, freezing all of them, barely preserving the city. Now, as the cold wave recedes, those legions have also awakened."
"Frozen for hundreds of years, and they can still wake up…" Stelle complained. "Is this really the Legion of Destruction, and not Abundance?"
"I was frozen by the Six-Phase Ice and still woke up, didn't I?" March 7th patted her chest.
Dan Heng, however, frowned. "No… The dice, the thaw, and the Legion awakening… These events are too coincidental. Someone must be behind this."
"I agree," Orion nodded. "Perhaps it's related to the entity that led the invasion 700 years ago."
"I checked the data bank," Dan Heng analyzed earnestly. "The Antimatter Legion doesn't invade a world for no reason. According to records, 700 years ago, there was a Lord Ravager who led the invasion of Jarilo-VI."
"Lord Ravager?!" March 7th gasped. "Which one?"
"The specific identity isn't clearly recorded," Dan Heng recalled. "But scholars have speculated that based on the Stellaron and the Legion's mode of operation, the one who led them was very likely—Zirnitra."
"Zirnitra?" Stelle tilted her head.
March 7th looked at her like she was illiterate. "You don't know this? Zirnitra is the supreme commander of the Antimatter Legion, Nanook's capable subordinate!"
"So, you think this disaster is also related to that Lord Ravager?" Orion asked.
"Just a speculation," Dan Heng said cautiously. "But the possibility is high."
They returned to Belobog in the evening.
Qliphoth Fort, Supreme Guardian's office.
"The Antimatter Legion… has revived?" Cocolia's face turned exceptionally pale after hearing the report. The cold wave had receded, but what came with it was an even greater disaster.
"You all go and rest. Thank you for your hard work," Cocolia said, forcing herself to be strong. "Allow me to consider a countermeasure."
The Express Crew and Bronya left, leaving only Orion. After the door closed, Cocolia slumped into her chair.
"Orion…" she showed a rare vulnerability, her usual majesty melted away, leaving only a weary woman. "What… should I do?"
