Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

Under the expert direction of the navigators, the Moby Dick steadied itself completely.

With professional, calculated movements, they guided the crew, ensuring every action was precise.

As the ship's speed maxed out, boosted by the colossal water column's upward thrust, they were launched into the sky at an unprecedented speed.

The surrounding waves erupted into towering sprays.

The ship, like a razor-sharp sword, tore through the sky, a spectacle of unparalleled grandeur.

"Woo-hoo~" Ace yelled, his voice cutting vibrantly through the fierce wind as he waved his arms in unrestrained excitement.

"Ron, we did it!"

Marco felt a rush of exhilaration as well.

He gazed at the approaching clouds, a sparkle of anticipation in his eyes.

"It's been a while since I've felt this thrilled, yoi," he murmured, a grin spreading across his face.

"Sky Island truly fills one with hope." He spoke as if he could already glimpse the legendary, mysterious land.

Ron stood silently on the deck, his gaze fixed on the shrinking silhouette of Jaya Island.

"From now on, Sky Island will be my stronghold," he declared, his voice low and firm. "I will forge it into an ideal nation!"

"Massive clouds like these are truly rare," a crew member remarked.

"Idiot, that's the White Sea the vice-captain mentioned yesterday!" another chimed in.

"He clearly wasn't paying attention. The White Sea is 7,000 meters up! And Sky Island is even higher, in the White-White Sea—a full 10,000 meters in the sky!"

The crew's excited chatter filled the air as they soared through the White Sea.

After a long while, they finally arrived at the White-White Sea.

Here, everything was draped in an ethereal white.

The surroundings were so pure and dazzling that the sunlight reflecting off the expanse made it difficult to keep one's eyes open.

The air was crisp and cool, making every breath feel exceptionally refreshing.

The Moby Dick sailed gently across this white ocean, its hull swaying softly with the waves.

The crew stood on deck, eagerly scanning their surroundings for any novel sight.

"Look over there! There's something different!" someone shouted, pointing into the distance.

Following his gaze, they saw the faint outline of Sky Island.

Suspended in midair, it was a miracle descended from the heavens, quietly floating in this white world.

Lush greenery covered the island, a vibrant and enigmatic contrast to the pure white surroundings.

Witnessing the sight, everyone was thrilled.

"Sky Island!"

"We've finally reached Sky Island!"

"Rumble-Rumble Fruit, here I come!"

"Let's start with a few hundred pounds of Enel bloods, then keep him in captivity for future use!"

"Hahaha, you're really wicked!"

Amid the laughter, the Moby Dick gradually approached the shore, and the group began to disembark.

On Jaya Island, Teach bellowed in fury, staring dumbfounded at the Moby Dick soaring into the sky.

His anger far outweighed his confusion.

"Damn it, I'm one step too late!"

Teach slammed his fist into a reef, and with a thunderous boom, the rock shattered instantly, fragments flying everywhere.

His eyes burned with endless rage.

"Sky Island, huh?" he growled, his voice dripping with icy killing intent.

"Even if you flee to the ends of the earth, I will hunt you down!"

His gaze was sharp and unwavering, as if it could pierce through all obstacles to reach those who had stolen his destined power.

The Tremor Fruit wasn't just a symbol of strength; it was the key to his ambitions.

Losing it meant his plans had suffered a severe blow.

After a few more curses, Teach vanished into the jungle, his figure quickly swallowed by the dense foliage.

He needed to check the Whitebeard Pirates' abandoned base—perhaps he'd find some clues there.

He knew time was of the essence; every second counted.

After Teach left, Bellamy cautiously emerged from between the rocks, his heart still pounding in his chest.

Staring in the direction Teach had disappeared, he was filled with both terror and relief.

He patted his chest lightly, trying to calm his fear, then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"That was close... That guy's name is Teach? How come I've never heard of him?" Bellamy muttered to himself, frowning.

Recalling Teach's sinister eyes and cold smile sent a chill down his spine.

"But he definitely looks evil."

Bellamy narrowed his eyes, lost in thought.

He replayed everything that had just happened, searching for clues.

"This guy seems to have a grudge against the Whitebeard Pirates. He must've been secretly observing them—there's definitely a scheme here," he speculated, a sly grin slowly creeping across his face.

"Heh, finally some useful intel. Anything connected to the Whitebeard Pirates is valuable!"

Bellamy knew this information could be crucial—perhaps the key to completing his mission.

Just then, he glanced up at the sky and noticed the towering water column had vanished without a trace.

He sighed, filled with frustration and disappointment.

"Looks like I'm too late, too. I was planning to endure hardships and complete my idol's mission, but now... there's nothing left." Bellamy shook his head, feeling dejected.

"Tomorrow, Doflamingo will arrive, and I must find a reasonable explanation to deal with the impending situation."

"Sigh, looks like I'll have to think hard about how to fabricate a good excuse…" Bellamy pondered silently, beginning to consider his next move.

.....

That evening, numerous pirate ships suddenly appeared near Jaya Island, all flying the same skull-adorned flag.

The pirates flaunted their strength and ambition with arrogance.

"Hahaha! The first one to trade with Whitebeard will be me, the Axe King of Death—Hages!" a burly pirate bellowed, gripping a massive axe, his eyes brimming with confidence.

"Screw you, trash! You wouldn't last a single move against me—the first spot is mine!" another pirate sneered in response, his figure agile, the cold gleam of his sword flashing.

"Kekekeke! The Kun Kun Pirate Crew has arrived! Anyone who doesn't scram gets a taste of my Iron Mountain Charge!"

A group of oddly dressed figures emerged from a pirate ship, brandishing their weapons as they aggressively charged toward the shore.
