Amidst the roaring cheers of the pirates, Enel stood like a ghost.
His world had shattered.
The power he thought was uniquely his—the very definition of a "god"—now also belonged to the old man laughing before him.
All his convictions, his entire sense of self, crumbled into dust.
He was no longer a god; he was just a man who had been proven devastatingly wrong.
As the celebration died down, all eyes turned to the four remaining Devil Fruits glowing mysteriously on the table.
"Ron, how should we distribute these?" Ace asked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
Everyone leaned in, awaiting his decision.
Even Whitebeard looked to Ron, his trust in him is absolute.
"As he captain said," Ron began, his voice commanding the room, "priority goes to the commanders. The rest are for our most loyal allies." His gaze swept over the crowd.
"Everyone who has bled for the Whitebeard Pirates will have their chance."
He then held up a small crystal vial filled with crimson liquid, letting it catch the light.
"This is the blood of Admiral Kizaru."
A wave of murmurs rippled through the crew.
"Anyone who wants speed, this is your chance," Ron said.
He then gestured to the battered Enel.
"We also have his Rumble-Rumble power, and a limited supply of the Ice-Ice Fruit." He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in.
"And yes, these replicated fruits will perfectly copy the original user's powers."
The crowd exploded.
To have the power of an Admiral, of a "God"... it was a dream beyond their wildest fantasies.
"Ron-sama!" one of the pirates couldn't help but ask. "Does this mean... if I eat one, I'll be as strong as Kizaru?"
Ron smirked.
"No."
The blunt answer surprised them.
"It means you'll have his powers," Ron explained patiently. "Kizaru is an Admiral because of his Haki, his physical strength, and decades of training. This fruit is a weapon. A powerful one. But a weapon is useless if you don't train your ass off to learn how to wield it. Don't get arrogant. Rely on this fruit alone, and you'll still be mediocre. Is that understood?"
A wave of understanding and renewed determination passed through the crew.
They realized that this was not a shortcut to the top, but a powerful tool that still required immense effort.
The man who had asked the question nodded, scratching his head sheepishly.
The initial frenzy was replaced by a tense silence.
The commanders and allied captains looked at the fruits, then at each other, the weight of the decision before them hanging heavy in the air.
Ron glanced at the dense, hopeful crowd and couldn't help but feel a bit troubled.
So many loyal pirates, but only four fruits.
"Alright," he said, clearing his throat to break the tense silence.
"It seems Kizaru's ability is quite popular. Unfortunately, we only have four fruits to distribute today, so we'll have to pick four lucky individuals."
A wave of commotion went through the crowd, every pirate praying they would be the one chosen.
Ron scanned the hopeful faces before calling out the first name.
"Jiru!"
The pirate nearly jumped with joy, stepping forward with a massive grin.
Ron called the second name, then the third, until the final name—"Izou"—sent another roar through the crowd.
The four chosen commanders were visibly thrilled.
This was a chance to change their destinies.
"None of you have Devil Fruit abilities now?" Ron asked curiously.
"No, they're too damn hard to find," one shook his head.
"I've got one," another admitted with a wry grin. "Horse-Horse Fruit. Pretty useless in a real fight."
"Same here," a third chimed in. "A Zoan can't compare to something like the Glint-Glint Fruit."
"I'll take the Rumble-Rumble Fruit," Izou said, his choice firm.
The potential of a Logia like that was too great to pass up.
Ron nodded.
He uncorked the vial of Kizaru's blood, letting a single, shimmering drop fall onto each of the three remaining white fruits.
Then, Enel was dragged forward once more to provide his own blood for the last one. (from god to a blood bank, bros pretty sad 😭)
As the blood touched the fruits, they began to transform.
Three warped into the familiar swirling pattern of the Glint-Glint Fruit, while Izou's turned a deep azure blue, crackling with faint arcs of electricity.
The moment the fruits were ready, all semblance of order vanished.
"I'll go first!"
"Get back, it's mine!"
With no thought for the notoriously disgusting taste, the four chosen captains lunged at the fruits like starving wolves, tearing off huge bites.
One of them, not willing to share even a single piece, swallowed his whole.
Ron just watched, dumbfounded, before giving a slight thumbs-up.
These guys are ruthless, he thought.
A moment later, their expressions turned to pure ecstasy.
"I can feel it..." one of the new Glint-Glint users whispered, staring at his hands as they dissolved into pure light.
"This is the power of light!"
"Hahaha! Try this!" another one yelled, pointing a finger at the sky.
He was clearly trying to test his new power, but was unprepared for the result.
A blinding beam of light erupted from his fingertip, shrieking through the air and blasting a massive hole in the clouds above.
The deafening explosion echoed across the entire island.
The crowd stared at the clear blue sky now visible through the hole, their mouths agape.
"That... that destructive power..." one of them stammered, his voice a mix of awe and envy.
"They're all ability users now... just like that."
