Chapter 103 - Chapter 103

The words had barely left his mouth when a dazzling, crystalline light erupted from his palm.

The diamonds stretched and compressed, rapidly solidifying into a massive, spiked club the same length as Kizaru's light sword.

Jozu looked at his handiwork with a satisfied grin.

This wasn't just some chunk of diamond.

He'd meticulously crafted it based on the physics lessons Ron had taught him, embedding scientific principles into its very structure to make it terrifyingly powerful.

"Behold! The Ama no Murakumo Club!" Jozu declared, his voice full of cocky provocation.

Seeing Jozu's... creation, Kizaru's lazy expression twitched with pure, unadulterated annoyance.

He couldn't believe this guy was even copying the names of his techniques!

"Damn it! Can't you come up with a single original move of your own?!" Kizaru roared, his usual drawl gone, replaced with raw frustration.

Jozu actually paused, a thoughtful look on his face as if he was genuinely considering the question.

It was true, he'd been copying Kizaru moves...

"Hmm... you're right," Jozu said as a brilliant idea seemed to strike him. He grinned, hefting the weapon.

"Then let's call it the Diamond Club! Behold—my Diamond Club!"

Kizaru was speechless.

He stared at the so-called "Diamond Club," his brain screaming.

WHAT'S THE DAMN DIFFERENCE?!

But Jozu paid no attention to Kizaru's silent fury.

He swung the Diamond Club, the air whistling around it as he prepared to strike.

Kizaru's face went dark.

Gripping the Ama no Murakumo sword tightly, he charged, radiating pure killing intent.

The nearby marines had already scrambled for cover, terrified by the pressure emanating from the two monsters, leaving the entire deck as their private battlefield.

The air grew thick and heavy, as if time itself had frozen.

Jozu barely had time to blink before the legendary light sword was already inches from his face, the tip nearly grazing his nose.

So fast! he thought, but there was no panic in him.

He adjusted his stance in a fraction of a second, gripping his Diamond Club with both hands, and brought it down with all his might!

As the two forces hurtled toward each other, the very space between them seemed to tremble.

BOOM!

With an earth-shattering crash, the Diamond Club and the Ama no Murakumo sword finally met.

And then, the impossible happened.

The supposedly indestructible, razor-sharp Ama no Murakumo sword—

CRACK!

—shattered into a thousand glittering shards of light.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!" Kizaru bellowed, completely dumbfounded.

He stared blankly at the stump of his sword, his mind completely frozen.

His eyes were wide with disbelief and shock.

The onlookers were even more stunned.

"Did you see that?! The Ama no Murakumo sword… it was destroyed!" someone screamed in disbelief.

"That's a sword made from Admiral Kizaru's ability! How can you cut a Logia's power?!"

It was a valid question.

Logia abilities were considered the pinnacle of power, and an Admiral like Kizaru could form a light sword that was, for all intents and purposes, indestructible.

Yet it had just been broken, completely shattering everything they thought they knew about Devil Fruits.

"Unreal! And what about his club? Why wasn't it cut?!" another Marine pointed at the weapon in Jozu's hand, his voice full of confusion.

Jozu's club had remained completely unscathed, making the whole situation even weirder.

"Is this… the true strength of a Whitebeard Pirates commander? This is just too insane..."

Vice-Admiral Momonga stared at the broken light sword, his scalp tingling as he tried to wrap his head around it.

It made no sense.

Logia users were supposed to be untouchable, able to nullify physical attacks.

Yet here, right now, Kizaru's elemental weapon had been effortlessly destroyed, making Momonga question the very nature of the world he lived in.

"Hahahaha! My Diamond Club is pretty awesome, isn't it?" Jozu laughed heartily, his eyes gleaming with pride.

He swung the massive club again, smashing it directly into Kizaru's still-shocked face.

CRUNCH!

The blow landed squarely on Kizaru's nose, and blood sprayed from it like a fountain.

Seeing the precious crimson liquid, Jozu's eyes lit up.

He vanished, reappearing instantly next to the splattered blood.

With a flick of his ring-adorned right hand, the droplets were drawn up by an invisible force, vanishing as they were absorbed into the storage ring.

Meanwhile, inside the castle-space, the rest of the crew was waiting with containers at the ready.

They swiftly collected the Admiral blood, storing it away with practiced efficiency.

Ace watched the one-sided beatdown from his own ring, his eyes wide with admiration.

"Jozu's gotten even stronger! He's actually hurting Kizaru! He's overpowering him!"

Marco chuckled, a proud look on his face.

"That's all thanks to Ron's little upgrades to that club of his."

"Jozu's just a quick learner. I only gave him a few pointers," Ron said modestly.

"Ron, what's the deal with that thing?" Kingdew asked, his eyes burning with envy.

It was a monster of a weapon that could make an Admiral bleed with a single swing!

Ron smiled. "It's nothing too complicated. I just taught him how to treat the surface of the diamond using the principle of reflective interception."

Seeing their blank stares, he simplified it.

"Think of it this way: Kizaru's sword is a solid beam of light. I showed Jozu how to polish the facets on his club in a very specific, weird way. When the light sword hits it, the facets act like millions of tiny, perfectly angled mirrors. They don't just reflect the light; they 'cut' a slice of it out and send it flying in a different direction. So, for a split second, there's a gap in the middle of the sword. Kizaru is still pushing from the back, but the tip is no longer connected. Snap. It breaks."

Everyone finally understood.

It wasn't just brute force.

It was science.

They all made a mental note: Ron had just created a perfect hard counter for Admiral Kizaru.

A chill went down their spines.
