Chapter 270 - Chapter 270

Mr. 3 adjusted his glasses, a calm glint shining behind the lenses.

"This time is different. The riot on the sixth level has already collapsed the prison's defense system. As long as we seize this opportunity, our chances of escaping are very high."

Mr. 2 Bon Clay swayed his body. "Iva is right! We must grab this chance!"

Though their personalities differed, at this moment, they were tightly united.

They quickly organized their equipment, some gripping their weapons tightly.

Soon, Ivankov led the group as they charged out of the hidden space of Level 5.5, sprinting toward the prison's exit.

Those with weapons held them firmly, ready at any moment to face a fierce battle.

Tension was evident on everyone's faces as they prepared to confront a life-or-death challenge.

However, when they burst through the prison doors, ready to engage in a deadly struggle with the guards, the scene before them left them completely stunned.

It was empty outside, not a single person in sight.

The passageways that should have been heavily guarded were now silent and deserted.

Not even the shadow of a guard beast could be seen—only dim lights and cold walls.

An eerie atmosphere hung in the air, as if the entire prison had been abandoned.

Buggy widened his eyes, looking left and right, then scratched his head with a bewildered expression.

"What... what's going on? Where did all the guards go? Did they all take a day off?"

Mr. 3 adjusted his glasses, analyzing calmly. "It seems the riot on the sixth level has completely collapsed the prison's defense system. The guards have probably all gone to suppress the riot, or... they've already fled."

Mr. 2 Bon Clay jumped up excitedly, shouting loudly. "Hahaha! Heaven helps us! What are we waiting for? Let's charge out now!"

Everyone exchanged glances, then burst into wild laughter.

The previously tense atmosphere was instantly replaced by ecstatic joy.

Without hesitation, they dashed toward the exit like a herd of wild horses breaking free from their reins.

"Freedom! Charge!"

"That's right, once we're past this door, I'll be back on the high seas!"

"..."

At the same time, Ron and his group burst out from the passageway of the sixth level.

Dust filled the corridor, swirling under their footsteps, making their throats tighten.

Ron's gaze swept swiftly ahead, noticing Ivankov and the others sprinting wildly.

"Is that... the Queen of Kamabakka Kingdom, Ivankov?" Ron narrowed his eyes slightly, a thoughtful glint flashing in his pupils as a meaningful smile curled at the corner of his lips.

"It seems this prison break is even more chaotic than we imagined."

Nami swallowed nervously, her fingers unconsciously clutching the hem of her clothes, a trace of worry in her eyes.

"Ron, should we avoid them? What if they turn on us?"

Ron shook his head, his expression calm and his tone steady.

"No need to avoid them. Let's just follow behind. We can adapt to any situation. Besides, having them clear the way will save us a lot of effort."

Everyone nodded in agreement upon hearing this.

Bullett snorted coldly with a disdainful look crossing his face. "Just a bunch of rabble, but they might be useful."

Crocodile, puffing on his cigar with smoke curling around him, said indifferently.

"Suit yourself. My only task is to protect you for three years anyway."

Redfield remained silent throughout, his figure appearing solitary in the dim light, rarely interacting with the others and seeming out of place.

And so, Ron and his group quietly trailed behind Ivankov and the others.

The escaping prisoners ahead remained completely unaware of their presence, still lost in their ecstatic dash toward the exit.

The entire Underwater Great Prison seemed to have plunged into a chaotic frenzy.

...

During this time, on Skypiea.

Under the azure sky, white clouds drifted like cotton, floating gently in the clear expanse.

The Moby Dick was anchored at the edge of Skypiea, its sails swaying softly in the wind, emitting faint rustling sounds.

At the Angel Island base, Whitebeard sat in his massive chair, holding a liquor flask from which the aroma of alcohol occasionally wafted, permeating the air.

His gaze was fixed on the distant White-White Sea, his eyes tranquil as if reminiscing about bygone days of glory.

Suddenly, Vista rushed over in a panic, his steps hurried, his face etched with tension and anxiety.

"Pops, it's bad! Ron took those two girls to Impel Down to rescue someone!"

Whitebeard's brow furrowed sharply upon hearing this, the muscles on his face tensing instantly, his liquor flask halting mid-air.

He slowly rose to his feet, his towering frame like a majestic mountain.

"What? That kid went to Impel Down alone?"

Vista nodded with a note of unease in his voice.

"Yes, Pops. It's said he barged into Impel Down by himself to rescue a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Now the entire prison is in chaos, and the Yonko Big Mom is causing trouble there too!"

"Big Mom?"

Whitebeard's expression grew even graver, his eyes narrowing to slits, a flicker of anger burning within them.

"Nonsense! That kid may have some skills, but what kind of place is Impel Down? It's a forbidden zone even the Yonko wouldn't dare set foot in lightly! Going there alone is practically suicide!"

Though angry at Ron's reckless behavior, he was also worried about his safety.

After speaking, Whitebeard took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling slightly, his gaze sharp as it fell upon Vista.

"Immediately summon all available division commanders! We're going to Impel Down to rescue him!"

Vista stood nearby, a troubled expression on his face.

He scratched his head with a hint of helplessness in his eyes, his tone somewhat hesitant.

"Uh... Pops, most of the commanders are currently out."

"What's going on?" Whitebeard's brows immediately furrowed upon hearing this, the wrinkles on his face deepening.

Seeing this, Vista knew he couldn't hide the truth and had to be honest, his tone carrying a note of helplessness.

"Ace, Marco, Jozu, and Shiki have reportedly gone to Dressrosa to complete Ron's mission."

Hearing this, Whitebeard's expression grew even more sullen.

"What about the others?"

Vista sighed and continued.

"Izo and Enel are currently helping guard Ron's Eternal Kingdom and can't leave for now.

Another group of commanders is assisting the Shandia tribe in settling into the Eternal Kingdom, while others are overseeing the gold mine excavation. And..."

"And what?" Whitebeard felt his head spinning, as if he hardly recognized this pirate crew anymore.

In such a short time, so many things had happened that even he, their Father, was struggling to keep up.
