"Hope!! I want every pack leader, especially the rogue leaders, here before sunrise!" Sorin roared, his alpha voice slicing through the thick tension as he stormed into the pack house.
The air grew heavy, almost suffocating, as every wolf in the Black Moon Pack house dropped to their knees, heads bowed in submission. It had been years since their alpha had unleashed his voice like this, and they all knew what it meant. Dangerous. Destroy.
Hope was already moving before anyone else could react. His speed, unmatched even among the fastest wolves, carried him to the source of the commotion in an instant. His sharp eyes locked onto Sorin's, and his heart sank.
The look in Sorin's eyes feral, burning, and unrelenting sent a shiver down Hope's spine. He halted mid step, frozen by the sheer intensity of it. This look. How could he ever forget this look?
It was the same look Sorin had worn when he was twelve, the first time his alpha blood had truly awakened. The first time his alpha recognised his mate's feelings. That same fire, that same promise of destruction. Back then, it terrified everyone who witnessed it. But now? Now it was far more dangerous.
Hope's voice was steady, but there was a hint of unease as he called out, "Sorin! What happened? Why are you calling the rogue leaders? Did someone attack?"
Sorin's eyes snapped to his brother, glowing with an otherworldly light that made even Hope hesitate. "No questions, hyung," Sorin growled, his voice low and dangerous. "Just do as I said."
Hope clenched his fists, his mind racing. What could have happened? Sorin had gone out to escort Jay, the little pup, back to his parents. That should have been a simple task, especially for someone as powerful as a True Blood Alpha. Then why?
"Sorin, listen..." Hope tried again, but the younger alpha's glare silenced him instantly.
Hope took a step back, his thoughts spinning. This rage… this isn't just about a rogue crossing the line. Something else happened. Something worse.
Before he could press further, a voice broke through his mind via the mind link. It was Sam, hesitant but urgent. "Alpha…i think he found his mate."
Hope's breath hitched. His eyes widened as the words sank in. Mate? Sorin found his mate?
"Are you sure?" Hope replied through the mind link, his voice sharp.
"Almost yes," Sam confirmed. "But… he's furious. This isn't the reaction we expected."
Hope's heart pounded in his chest. A mate? That should have been a moment of joy, of celebration. For a True Blood Alpha, finding their mate was monumental. It meant balance, completion, and strength. So why was Sorin so enraged?
"Who is it?" Hope demanded through the link. "Who's his mate? And why is he like this? I want to know everything."
"I… I don't know exactly but i have my assumption," Sam admitted. "But something's wrong. His aura… it's darker than I've ever felt. I think… I think someone tried to harm his mate."
Hope's stomach churned. The thought of anyone daring to harm a True Blood Alpha's mate was unthinkable. Yet, the fury radiating from Sorin made it clear that something had happened.
"Sorin," Hope tried again, his voice softer now. "Is this about your mate? Did someone...."
"Don't," Sorin cut him off, his voice trembling with barely restrained fury. His fists were clenched so tightly that blood dripped from his palms where his nails had pierced the skin. "Don't ask me anything, brother. I won't be able to control it anymore. Just do what I said."
"But Sorin....."
"I said no questions!" Sorin's roar shook the walls, silencing any further protest. His eyes burned brighter, his aura so overwhelming that even Hope felt the urge to bow his head.
His heart ached. He wanted to help, to understand, but Sorin was a storm barely contained, and any wrong move could unleash his fury.
Now the world will see what happens when someone touches what belongs to Sorin Aldric.
Sorin thought, his voice ringing through the mind link with a ferocity that made even Sam flinch.
Without another word, Sorin turned on his heel and stormed toward his room, his movements sharp and purposeful, shoulders were tense, his every step radiating power and anger.
Hope stood frozen, watching his younger brother disappear down the hall. His lips parted as if to call out, but no words came. What could he say? What could he do?
"Alpha," Sam's voice came again through the link, quieter this time. "What do we do now? He's too angry to listen to anyone."
Hope exhaled slowly, his fists clenching at his sides. "We do what he said," he replied, his voice firm. "Gather the leaders. Every single one of them. No one dares defy him tonight if someone does, drag them here."
"And after that?" Sam asked.
Hope's gaze lingered on the path Sorin had taken, his heart heavy with worry. "After that… we pray. Because if his mate is hurt, there won't be a force in this world that can stop him. Everyone knows he's able to feel his mate's every single emotion."
With that, the alpha storms out of the place, leaving another alpha to do his given task as soon as possible.
Soon after the enormous meeting hall of the Black Moon Pack was packed with tension, a suffocating weight that pressed against every wolf present. The leaders of every pack both allies and rogues stood in uneasy silence. They hadn't dared to refuse the summons of the True Blood Alpha. Refusal wasn't an option.
Sorin's command had spread like wildfire, and even the most defiant rogue leaders knew better than to test his patience. Some had arrived under protest, dragged by Black Moon enforcers, while others had come willingly, their curiosity piqued by the rare display of true blood alpha's power.
The hall was dimly lit. The scent of fear and uncertainty mingled in the air as murmurs rippled through the crowd.
"Why are we here?" one rogue leader muttered under his breath, his voice low but laced with irritation.
"Shut the fuck up," hissed another. "You want to get yourself killed? He's already pissed off."
Hope stood near the grand doors, his sharp eyes scanning the room. His expression was grim, stance rigid. He could feel the unease radiating from the gathered wolves, but it was nothing compared to the storm brewing behind the closed doors of alpha's room.
The heavy wooden doors creaked open, and every head turned as Sorin entered.
The room fell into absolute silence.
Hod presence was overwhelming, his alpha aura crashing over the gathered wolves. His dark eyes burned with an intensity that made even the most hardened leaders avert their gaze.
Hope stepped forward, his voice steady but loud enough to command attention. "You've all been summoned here by the True Blood Alpha. You will listen, and you will answer truthfully. Try to deceive or defy him and you won't be seeing today's sunrise."
Sorin stopped at the center of the room, his gaze sweeping over the crowd. The silence stretched, the weight of his presence pressing harder with each passing second.
The leaders exchanged uneasy glances, but no one dared to speak.
"I'll make this simple,'' Sorin continued, his tone cold and sharp. "My mate was hurt. Someone dared to lay their hands on what belonged to me. I want to know who was behind it." The calmness of Sorin's voice was more terrifying than his ragging roar.
A ripple of shock passed through the room. His mate? The True Blood Alpha had found his mate? When?
One of the rogue leaders stepped forward hesitantly. "Alpha," he began, his voice trembling. " We… we didn't know you'd found your mate. None of us would..."
"I don't care!" Sorin snapped, his voice cutting through the air like a blade. The rogue immediately fell back, his head bowed.
Sorin's eyes narrowed, his gaze locking onto the leaders one by one. "I don't care about your excuses. I don't care about your opinions. What I care about is finding out who had the audacity to cross me."
His voice grew colder, more dangerous. "If any of you had a hand in this, if any of you even know who was involved, you will speak right now. Because if I find out later, there will be no mercy and you all know what I mean!"
The room remained deathly silent.
Sorin's patience snapped. "Sam!" he barked.
Sam stepped forward, his expression serious. "Yes, Alpha."
"Bring him in," he ordered.
The doors opened again, and two alpha's dragged in a blooded wolf, his head hanging low. The rogue's scent was faint, masked, but there was no mistaking the fear radiating from him.
"This," Sorin said, his voice like ice, "is one of the wolves who attacked my mate."
Gasps echoed through the room.
The rogue whimpered, his knees buckling as the enforcers forced him to kneel before the true blood alpha. "P-please," he stammered, his voice shaking. "I didn't know..."
"Who sent you? Who's behind the attack!!" Sorin demanded, his eyes glowing with a deadly light.
The rogue's lips trembled, but he said nothing.
Sorin crouched down, his face inches from the rogue's, his voice dropped to a dangerous whisper. "Do you think I'm in the mood for games?"
The rogue broke, tears streaming down his face. "It was… it was a group of rogues. I don't know their names...they hired us. They paid us to distract everyone and take him to them."
"And why's that." Sorin's voice was deadly calm.
"They said it was revenge. That they wanted to hurt him by taking what was most precious to the alpha."
Sorin's fists clenched, his knuckles turning white."Where are they right now."
"I-I don't know alpha," the rogue cried. "I swear, I don't know! They didn't tell..."
But Sorin didn't let him finish. His hand shot out, gripping the rogue's throat. "You're useless to me," he snarled, his voice laced with pure rage.
"Alpha," Hope interjected cautiously. "We can use him. He might know more than he realizes."
Sorin hesitated, his grip tightening before he finally released the rogue. The wolf collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.
"I'll ask you one last time," Sorin growled, his crimson eyes glowing brighter. "If you know anything, tell me now. Because if I find out later that you lied to me…" His voice dropped to a deadly whisper, dripping with malice. "Your pack won't just lose their alpha. They'll lose every trace of their existence."
The room remained silent, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife.
Sori6 straightened, his voice ringing out like a death knell. "You've seen what happens when someone crosses me. Now imagine what I'll do to those who dare to harm my mate."
No one dared to speak. No one dared to move.
And in that moment, every wolf in the room knew one thing for certain.... the True Blood Alpha's wrath was only just beginning.
The rogue leaders and pack alphas remained frozen, their heads bowed under the crushing weight of Sorin's aura. No one dared to even breathe too loudly, afraid it might draw the True Blood Alpha's wrath.
Hope stepped forward cautiously, his voice steady but carrying the authority expected of Sorin's second in command. "You heard him. If anyone here has even a shred of information, now is the time to speak. Holding back will not protect you, it will only seal your fate."
Hope, ever the strategist, scanned the room, his mind racing. "Rogues don't act alone unless they're desperate for something. This wasn't desperation.....this was calculated. Someone's pulling their strings. Someone with resources and influence."
Sorin's jaw tightened. "Then i'll find out who. And when i do…" He let the sentence hang, but the unspoken promise of destruction was clear.
Suddenly, the rogue on the floor began to tremble violently. His eyes darted around the room, and his breathing quickened. "They'll kill me," he muttered, his voice barely audible. "They'll kill me if I say more."
Sorin's voice was ice cold. "And what do you think I'll do to you if you stay silent?"
The rogue flinched, his body trembling harder. "There's… there's a base," he stammered, his voice cracking. "A hidden one. Deep in the Shadow Pines, near the eastern border. That's where they're staying..."
Sorin's eyes narrowed. "Shadow Pines?" His voice was sharp, and his mind raced. It was rogue territory, dense and treacherous, a perfect place for an ambush.
"Alpha," Sam mind linked Sorin urgently, his voice tight with worry. "Shadow Pines is heavily guarded. If they are there, they're prepared for an attack."
"Good," Sorin replied through the link, his tone deadly. "They'll get one."
Out loud, he turned to Hope. " "Prepare everything. We leave right now."
Hope nodded, already issuing commands through the pack link. The room stirred slightly as the gathered leaders exchanged uneasy glances.
Sorin's gaze swept over them once more, his voice cutting through the murmurs. "You're dismissed. But remember this If I find out any of you were involved, I'll erase every ounce of your existence."
The leaders bowed their heads, murmuring their assent before quickly filing out of the hall. None of them wanted to linger in the presence of alpha's fury.
As the doors closed behind the last of them, Hope approached his younger brother. "Sorin," he began cautiously, ""re you sure about this? I can handle it with Sam and other alpha's.''
Sorin's eyes burned with unwavering determination. "They hurt what's mine, brother. I'll tear that place apart with my bare hands."
Hope nodded, his heart heavy with both pride and worry. "Then let's make sure no one gets away from that place. You're not alone in this."
Sorin didn't respond, his mind already focused on the coming battle. His mate was hurt there, and nothing not rogues, not traps, not even death, would stop him from bringing hell to those useless creatures.
...
As Sorin and his pack approached the rogue base, their steps were silent but purposeful. The air was thick with the acrid scent of rogues, mingled with the faint tang of blood that made Sorin's wolf snarl within him. His mate had been attacked, wounded and the rage simmering in his chest was now a storm, ready to erupt.
He halted at the edge of the clearing, his crimson eyes scanning the rogue base a crude structure of wood and stone surrounded by makeshift barricades. His enforcers waited silently, their gazes fixed on their alpha.
"Stay away until i return!" Sorin growled through the mind link, his voice sharp and commanding.
Everyone moved like shadows, slipping into strategic spots around the base. HOPE remained at Sorin's side, his expression grim.
"Rin," Hope said quietly, "are you sure you want to do this alone? We can...."
"No." Sorin voice was sharp, "They dared to touch what's mine. This isn't just about revenge. It's a lesson for those who even think about eyeing my mate with ill intentions."
Without another word, he stepped into the place. His aura flared, suffocating and heavy, sending ripples of fear through the air. He raised his voice, letting it thunder across the forest.
As he roared, his alpha voice carried the weight of his wrath. "COME OUT AND FACE ME! OR I'LL DRAG YOU OUT MYSELF!"
The rogue base erupted into chaos as Sorin stepped into their territory. His wolf emerged from within him, a massive black beast with glowing crimson eyes that burned with fury.
His fur glistened under the slight moonlight, and his sheer size dwarfed any other wolf present. The ground trembled beneath his paws, and his growl reverberated through the forest, a promise of destruction.
From the shadows of the rogue base, dozens of wolves emerged, their snarls echoing in the cold night air. Their eyes glowed with hostility, but even they faltered when they saw the True Blood Alpha in his full glory.
One rogue, larger than the others and scarred from countless battles, stepped forward, baring his teeth. "You've got guts showing up here alone," he sneered, his voice dripping with mockery. "Do you really think you can take us all?"
Sorin didn't reply. Instead, his crimson eyes locked onto the rogue, and with a snarl that shook the trees, he lunged.
The rogue didn't even have time to react. Sorin's massive jaws clamped down on his throat, crushing it instantly. Blood sprayed as the rogue's body went limp, and Sorin flung him aside like a broken toy.
The other rogues froze, their confidence wavering as they watched their comrade's lifeless body hit the ground.
The rogues surged forward, a chaotic wave of claws and teeth, but Sorin was a force no one could stop.
The first wolf lunged at him, aiming for his flank, but Sorin spun with blinding speed, his claws raking across the rogue's side. The wolf yelped in pain, collapsing as his blood stained the dirt.
Another rogue leapt at Sorin's back, but he anticipated the move. He reared up on his hind legs, his massive paw swiping through the air and slamming into the rogue's head. The sound of the skull cracking echoed, and the wolf crumpled to the ground, lifeless.
His movements were a blur of precision and brutality. He was everywhere at once, his massive form tearing through the rogues like a hurricane.
One rogue managed to sink his teeth into Sorin's shoulder, but the True Blood Alpha barely flinched. With a growl of pure rage, he twisted, his jaws snapping down on the rogue's neck. The wolf whimpered once before he ripped him apart, his blood splattering across the ground.
"You dare to harm what's mine?" Sorin snarled, his voice echoing in the minds of every rogue present.
The rogues hesitated, their courage draining as they faced the wrath of the True Blood Alpha.
"Cowards!" Sorin roared, his voice shaking the very earth. "You think you can hide? You think I won't find you?"
Despite their fear, a few rogues tried to flee, disappearing into the forest. But Sorin wasn't done.
He howled, a bone chilling sound that sent shivers down every spine. It was a command, a declaration of vengeance. He leapt after the fleeing rogues, his speed unmatched. One by one, he hunted them down, his massive form emerging from the shadows like death itself.
When he returned to the clearing, the remaining rogues were trembling, their eyes wide with terror.
"Please....." one of them whimpered, dropping to his belly in submission.
Sorin didn't let him finish. He lunged, his jaws closing around the wolf's throat. With a vicious shake, he ended the rogue's life, tossing the body aside.
The base was eerily silent now, the only sounds the crackle of the rogues fires and the labored breathing of the few who still lived.
Through the mind link, Hope's voice broke the quiet. "Alpha, the leader isn't here. He fled before you arrived."
Sorin's growl was low and menacing, his rage boiling over. "Coward!!" he spat aloud, his voice dripping with venom.
Turning his gaze to the base, Sorin's crimson eyes glowed brighter. His wolf growled deep in his chest, and without hesitation, he opened his massive jaws and released a howl,an order within. To burn the whole place.
The flames erupted in no time, roaring to life as they consumed the wooden structures. The rogues still alive howled in terror, their cries silenced as the fire engulfed them. The heat was intense, the glow of the flames casting an eerie light over the forest.
Sorin stood amidst the destruction, his massive form silhouetted against the inferno. His chest heaved, fur singed but untouched by the fire's wrath.
When the last of the flames began to die down, leaving nothing but ash and charred remains,Sorin shifted back into his human form. His eyes still glowed crimson, his body covered in blood and soot.
"This is what happens," Sorin growled, his voice low and venomous, each word laced with unrestrained fury. His crimson eyes glowed brighter, reflecting the raging inferno consuming the rogue base behind him. Blood dripped from his claws, his chest heaving with the remnants of his wrath.
"And this," he snarled, his tone rising to a thunderous roar that shook the very earth beneath him, "is what will happen to anyone who dares to lay a hand on what's mine. If my mate feels the slightest discomfort..."
His voice dropped into a deadly whisper, sharp and cold as steel. ".....I will hunt you. I will find you. And I will make you beg for a death that will never come swiftly."
The fire roared louder, as if feeding off his rage, casting his silhouette in an almost otherworldly glow. The ashes of the destroyed base swirled around him like a storm, the remnants of his wrath etched into the very air.
Sorin's gaze swept across the destruction, his expression unyielding. "Let this be a warning," he growled, his voice carrying through the silent forest. "The True Blood Alpha spares no one. Harm my mate, and you will face far worse than death that not only your body but your soul will tremble forever."
