Chapter 112 - Chapter 112: A Scene of Apocalyptic Terror!

"If we can't figure out a way to break through his Repel ability, none of our attacks will matter," Sanji said.

His feet were still glowing crimson, but he didn't dare charge in recklessly.

If the force got Repelled, Zoro's current state would serve as a stark warning.

Just as Sanji was pondering their next move, Meiser sprang into action again.

"Water Release: Water Surge!!"

"BOOM!!"

A whirlpool-like torrent suddenly materialized around Meiser, rapidly expanding before surging toward Kuma like a tidal wave!!

"I see... testing me with a wide-range attack, are we?" Kuma narrowed his eyes.

He had to admit, his opponent had some clever ideas.

But his Devil Fruit powers weren't so easily countered.

At that moment, a thought crossed Kuma's mind.

Was this water... seawater or freshwater?

He'd seen clearly—the torrent had gradually condensed from the air around Meiser... perhaps drawing moisture from the atmosphere?

Of course, it was also possible seawater had been summoned from afar. But... he'd only know for sure by testing it.

With that in mind, Kuma slowly raised his palm and said calmly, "Repel~"

"THUD!"

The Repel force violently flung the oncoming wave backward, creating a massive gap.

The water flowing along the ground, however, reached Kuma's feet, submerging part of his legs.

Feeling the water against his skin, Kuma tensed his muscles, ready to Repel himself away at any moment.

But he soon relaxed—this wasn't seawater at all!!

"I understand now."

Kuma immediately grasped the situation.

This boy before him could indeed manipulate seawater, but that ability required proximity to the ocean. On land, his Water Release was just ordinary water.

With that realization, Kuma remained unfazed, utterly unconcerned by the rising water levels.

As a Giant standing nearly seven meters tall, a meter or two of water posed no threat to him.

"How... utterly arrogant."

This bastard was even more brazen than he'd expected. But... this arrogance revealed valuable intel.

This spreading attack likely couldn't be Repelled all at once.

Of course, Kuma might be holding back intentionally.

Still—the plan had worked!

Having generously expended his Chakra, the battlefield had transformed exactly as intended!

The flowing water now covered a vast area.

"Nami!" Meiser suddenly shouted. "Help me create a cumulonimbus cloud—the bigger, the better!!"

"Huh?!"

Nami blinked in surprise before nodding. "Got it."

Though she didn't understand Meiser's reasoning, her trust in him made her comply without hesitation.

Scanning the battlefield, Nami murmured, "This environment really is perfect for forming cumulonimbus clouds..."

Then it hit her.

Was Meiser planning to electrocute that bastard?!

From the previous battle, it was clear that the enemy had to physically touch each attack to use his Repel ability.

In other words, as long as the attack range was wide enough, he might not be able to deflect it all!

Realizing this, Nami's eyes lit up.

"Cumulonimbus Cloud?"

Kuma glanced at the dark clouds gradually forming in the sky and said calmly, "What are you planning?"

Was she trying to strike him with lightning... or use the rain to unleash an even more powerful Water Release Technique?

"Heh, who knows?"

Seeing that Meiser wasn't answering, Kuma didn't press further. After all, ordinary attacks were meaningless to him.

After indifferently scanning Nami, Kuma slowly raised his hand as if preparing to strike her.

"Don't even think about it!"

Meiser shouted and immediately launched a Ninjutsu attack.

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bite!!"

The water on the ground began to tremble, then transformed into sharp, rock-like streams that viciously stabbed toward Kuma's body!

"Boom!"

The tremendous impact sent Kuma's nearly seven-meter-tall body flying into the air!

However, due to Kuma's immense durability, the attack didn't deal any significant damage.

"It's not over yet!"

"Boom!!"

The water on the ground rapidly swirled, visibly forming a massive whirlpool!

In the next moment, the whirlpool's head took the shape of a dragon's maw and shot upward, clamping down fiercely on Kuma!

"Roar!!"

"Another attack like this..." Kuma murmured. "Useless."

"Bam!"

Kuma raised his palm to touch the dragon's head, and the power of the Paw-Paw Fruit instantly activated, sending the dragon head flying away with a single slap!

"Whoosh~"

"Boom!!"

The sheer force of the impact shattered a nearby towering structure to pieces!!

"Wh-what...?!"

Echo was dumbstruck by the sight.

This Water Dragon looked even more terrifying than the previous one, yet it was still swatted away with a single palm strike?

Just how strong was this Royal Seven Warlord of the Sea?!

"Even Meiser's Ninjutsu had no effect—what do we do now?" Usopp panicked. Zoro still hadn't returned, and no one knew where he'd been flung off to. Meanwhile, neither Sanji's nor Meiser's attacks were working... What could they do?

"Don't rush," Nico Robin said calmly. "It's not over yet."

"Huh?"

"Look at Meiser's expression."

Usopp froze, then turned to see Meiser's profile—his expression remained unchanged, as if... he had expected this outcome.

Usopp: ???

What did that mean?

At that moment, Kuma descended from midair, landing with a splash that sent water flying everywhere!

"Whoosh~"

"Boom!!"

Glancing indifferently at the water droplets clinging to him, Kuma said, "Show me whatever else you've got."

"Heh, I won't disappoint you~"

"Rumble!!"

The Cumulonimbus Cloud in the sky suddenly roared, as if announcing its presence.

Thanks to Nami's efforts, the cloud had grown even larger, and the amount of stored lightning had become terrifyingly immense.

"So fast?"

A strange glint flashed in Kuma's eyes. He never expected this girl to create cumulonimbus clouds so quickly.

How much time had passed?

A massive black cloud had already formed overhead!!

Glancing at the tool in the girl's hands, Kuma's eyes showed confusion as he muttered, "What is that thing?"

It didn't seem like a product of a Devil Fruit, but rather... some kind of special technological device!

Could this girl's tool be something from Vegapunk?

If so, that would make sense. After all... the technology Vegapunk possesses is incredibly advanced!

But how did she obtain something like this?

For a moment, Kuma was puzzled.

Under Kuma's intense gaze, Nami felt tremendous pressure, but she didn't falter. She continued working hard to create the storm clouds.

Because she knew that if Kuma tried to attack her, Meiser would stop him—just like before!

"BOOOOM!!"

A terrifying thunderclap roared, startling Absalom on the other side.

"Not again?!"

Absalom turned to look at the dark clouds behind him, his face twisting in dismay.

Just moments ago, the Water Dragon that Kuma had repelled had accurately tracked down Absalom as he was dragging Moria away!

The Water Dragon descended with terrifying speed, giving him no chance to react before the devastating attack struck him.

The electric shock nearly killed him outright!

If his resistance to electricity had been any weaker, he'd be lying on the ground foaming at the mouth by now.

This infuriated Absalom. He was convinced that bastard had deliberately targeted him!!!

Even though... even though they had already lost, why were they still being hunted down?

Absalom was seething with rage.

Behind him, Moria, whom he was dragging, also trembled violently from the attack, black smoke rising from his body.

Unlike Absalom, who was nearly electrocuted into unconsciousness, Moria actually seemed to regain awareness from the shock!

It was as if... the lightning had jump-started his heart, reviving him!!

"Damn those Straw Hat Pirates," Absalom cursed.

Glancing back at Moria, Absalom sighed.

Even though they had lost this time, as long as Lord Moria survived, they would have a chance to rise again!!

At that moment, Moria's eyes snapped open, glaring fiercely at the sky!

His gaze was no longer filled with the same despair as before—instead, it burned with intensity!!

Seeing this, Absalom immediately brightened with joy. "Lord Moria! You're awake?!"

He hadn't even gone to find Hogback yet, and Lord Moria had already regained consciousness on his own. This was perfect.

"Absalom?" Moria scanned his surroundings, hesitating slightly before asking, "Did you rescue me?"

"Yes," Absalom nodded. "That Tyrant Kuma showed up here and fought the Straw Hat Pirates, so I took the chance to sneak you out of the wreckage."

After finishing his words, Absalom paused for a moment before sighing with emotion, "Luckily it was him who came... Otherwise, with his Invisibility Fruit ability, he might not have been able to rescue Lord Moria. After all... that red-eyed bastard could actually see him even when he was invisible! If he had been discovered, death would have been waiting for him. But fortunately, they managed to escape."

"Kuma?" Moria frowned, clearly not expecting that bastard to still be around.

But what was his purpose in staying?

To laugh at his misfortune?

At this thought, Moria's expression darkened, feeling extremely displeased.

"Did that guy say anything?"

"Yes," Absalom nodded. "He came to invite that ninja to become one of the Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea."

As he spoke, anger surfaced on Absalom's face. "Those damn bastards! The moment they saw Lord Moria defeated, they immediately invited the victor to become the new Warlord. How despicable!!"

Absalom was furious—did the World Government have no sense of loyalty at all?

Hearing this, Moria, on the other hand, regained his composure.

Clearly, he wasn't surprised by this outcome.

The purpose of the Royal Seven Warlords was to intimidate other pirates. But if one of them was defeated by another pirate, their deterrent effect would be lost.

A loser naturally had no reason to exist, so Moria didn't complain. Defeat was defeat—there was nothing more to say.

The only thing he hadn't expected was that Kuma would directly invite Meiser to become a Warlord... Was this the World Government's order?

That made sense. Kuma was the type who obeyed the World Government without question—it was even possible he had direct contact with the Five Elders.

Thinking this, Moria found it all quite reasonable.

The only question was whether the World Government was after Meiser himself... or his Ninjutsu. Moria muttered inwardly.

"Lord... Moria?"

Absalom looked at Moria in confusion. Ever since waking up, Moria seemed... different, as if he had become a completely different person.

Was it just his imagination?

Or... had Lord Moria's brain been damaged in the fight?

With this in mind, Absalom cautiously suggested, "Lord Moria, should I take you to see Hogback?"

Seeing the concern in Absalom's eyes, Moria snapped irritably, "My brain is fine."

He understood Absalom's meaning—his current state was indeed different from before.

But this wasn't a bad thing. In fact, it was good!

"Then you..."

"Ah... I just saw some things before losing consciousness," Moria said with a complicated expression.

In truth, Meiser's Illusion Technique had awakened Moria's deepest fear—his personal Nightmare.

It was the great battle against Kaido in the Land of Wano all those years ago!

Under the illusion, Moria had reunited with his long-lost comrades, reliving that horrifying scene over and over as they cursed him relentlessly.

In the end... their scathing words had jolted him back to reality.

Yes, back then he was the mighty Shadow Demon, a hero strong enough to rival Kaido!

But now... he had fallen so low, barely clinging to life in this godforsaken place... Could someone like him really avenge his comrades?

Impossible!!

At this moment, Moria became acutely aware of this fact.

If he truly wanted revenge for them, staying here playing with corpses wasn't the answer... He needed to keep fighting and growing stronger!!

Otherwise, he would never have a chance against beings like Kaido.

Thinking this, Moria turned to gaze into the distance, murmuring, "I really owe him a huge favor..."

Watching the increasingly dark storm clouds gathering far away, Moria felt a surge of complex emotions.

"Moria-sama?"

Absalom looked at Moria in confusion. What was wrong with him now?

Ever since waking up, Moria-sama had become strangely sentimental... What was going on?

Was this some special reflection that came after facing death?

Then why didn't he feel anything like that?

"It's complicated. Anyway, I need to thank that ninja brat," Moria said.

Absalom: ???

What did that mean? Moria-sama was defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates, yet now he wanted to thank them?

Was... was that even logical?

Moria didn't mind. He knew Absalom's brain couldn't comprehend such things.

After taking a deep breath, Moria asked, "Where are Hogback and Perona?"

"This..."

Seeing Absalom hesitate, Moria immediately frowned. "What is it?"

"Speak!"

Had something bad happened?

Absalom had mentioned Hogback earlier, meaning he was still alive.

So it must be about Perona... Had his precious daughter been killed?!

At this thought, Moria's expression darkened instantly.

"Hogback is already on our backup ship, but Perona..."

"Speak!"

"I encountered some zombies earlier. They told me Perona met Tyrant Kuma, then vanished instantly," Absalom explained. "But before I could ask more, you took their shadows away."

"So... I don't know where Perona is now."

Hearing this, veins bulged on Moria's forehead.

If Absalom didn't know what happened to Perona, he certainly did!

That bastard Kuma must have used his Devil Fruit power to send his daughter flying away!!

"That damn bastard..." Moria gritted his teeth. "How dare he."

"Moria-sama?"

"Absalom, take Hogback and leave this island immediately. Wait for me at sea."

"What about you?"

"Me?" Moria grinned ferociously. "I'm going to settle accounts with that bastard Kuma!!"

How dare he send his daughter flying away—he wouldn't let that guy off easily!

"But the Straw Hat Pirates are fighting him—"

"Go now!!"

"Yes!"

Seeing Moria truly enraged, Absalom didn't dare waste any more words and immediately turned to flee.

Glancing around, Moria felt an odd familiarity with the place.

Almost instinctively, he walked over to a massive boulder and punched the stone slab.

  "BOOM!!"

The rock shattered, revealing an enormous box hidden beneath.

Bending down, Moria opened the box to find an impossibly large katana inside.

At the sight of it, Moria suddenly grinned.

"Old friend... let's fight side by side once more!"

  "CLANG!"

Meanwhile, thanks to Nami's efforts, the cumulonimbus clouds in the sky had grown terrifyingly vast.

They now covered nearly the entire area.

During this time, Meiser had attacked Tyrant Kuma several times with ninjutsu, successfully keeping him pinned in that zone.

Yet, Meiser couldn't shake a nagging sense of dissonance—as if... his opponent wasn't going all out.

"Am I imagining things?" Meiser muttered to himself.

Could one of the Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea be holding back?

  Impossible!

Kuma had come here with the intent to kill them—why would he hold back?

Dismissing the thought, Meiser focused entirely on Tyrant Kuma.

At that moment, Kuma stood at the center of a swirling water current.

  "Still not enough?" Nami asked.

The cumulonimbus clouds were already enormous. She wasn't sure how much longer she could maintain them.

"It's enough," Meiser said. "Get further back."

  "Got it."

Nami exhaled in relief, retracting her Clima-Tact and retreating immediately.

Sanji and the others, though confused, obeyed and withdrew, leaving the battlefield to Meiser.

Kuma observed this and remarked, "What, planning to fight me alone?"

  "Got a problem with that?"

  "Bold. But..."

  "Not enough!"

Before the words fully left Kuma's mouth, he was already in front of Meiser, slamming his palm down with crushing force!

Meiser's pupils contracted as he instantly raised his guard.

  The next moment—

  "BOOM!!"

The impact carved a massive, bear-shaped crater into the ground!

Meiser, caught in the attack's epicenter, was slammed flat onto the earth, taking the full brunt of the blow.

  "Really... no mercy at all..."

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth as his face paled.

At that moment, Meiser was profoundly grateful for his unique bloodline, which granted him innate advantages.

Coupled with years of rigorous physical training, his defenses were formidable—otherwise, his condition would've been far worse.

An ordinary ninja would've been dead by now.

  "Meiser!!"

  "Stay back!" Meiser roared.

With that, he drove his fist into the side of Kuma's palm with explosive force.

  "Super Strength Fist!!"

  "CRACK!!"

The sheer power sent Kuma's arm lurching sideways.

Seizing the opening, Meiser swiftly performed a hand seal and vanished underground.

  "Earth Release: Earth Travel Technique!"

"So he can burrow underground..." Kuma straightened slowly, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.

Then he turned toward Meiser as the latter emerged from the earth. "Your ninjutsu arsenal is more extensive than I anticipated."

"There's more to come!"

After saying that, Meiser leaped onto the massive rock behind him, dazzling arcs of electricity crackling in his palm as he continued, "Try this one out, Kuma!!"

"BOOOOM!!"

Under Meiser's control, a terrifying roar suddenly erupted from the dark clouds in the sky. Vaguely, an enormous shadow could be seen moving within the layers of clouds!!

Seeing this, Tooth's pupils shrank as he exclaimed, "What is that?!"

Had he just glimpsed a massive shadow within the clouds? Was it an illusion?

Hearing Tooth's startled cry, everyone immediately looked up at the sky.

  "BOOM!!"

  "That's a huge shadow..."

  "What the hell is that?"

"Is this your trump card?" Kuma raised his head to gaze at the sky and said, "Planning to attack me using the power of nature?"

At this moment, Kuma finally understood the purpose behind Meiser's series of maneuvers.

Whether it was unleashing the Water Release Technique to confine him here or having that little girl create cumulonimbus clouds—it was all for this.

However, what puzzled Kuma was how exactly Meiser intended to harness the power of lightning.

By relying on that slender electric glow in his hand?

Thinking this, Kuma said, "Kid, your idea is impressive, but... defeating me is impossible!"

"How would you know without trying?!"

  "ROAR!!"

As soon as Meiser's words fell, an enormous Thunder Beast burst forth from the clouds, roaring down at Kuma below.

  "A... Kirin?!"

Nami stared at the sky in disbelief. Why had a Thunder Kirin appeared here?

How had Meiser managed to shape lightning into the form of a Kirin?

'Could it be that Devil Fruit?' Sanji thought, horrified.

Back on Skypiea, they had encountered someone with lightning abilities—a man capable of generating lightning.

Could it be... that Meiser had eaten his Devil Fruit?

  No!!

Meiser was definitely not a Devil Fruit Ability User—that much was certain.

Then... it must be the power of Lightning Release?

At this realization, Sanji was filled with shock. He had never imagined Lightning Release could achieve something like this—it was utterly astonishing. "What the hell is that thing?!"

Zoro, who had just run back, stared at the sky in stunned disbelief, his eyes wide with horror.

After being sent flying earlier, he had been running in circles, and by the time he finally returned to the battlefield, he was met with this shocking sight.

Glancing at Meiser, who held lightning in his grasp, Zoro thought in alarm, 'Is this... Lightning Release?!'

Lola gulped unconsciously at the sight.

No wonder Nami had warned them to stay back earlier. If such a colossal Thunder Beast descended, everyone within its range would likely perish!

"Enjoy this technique to the fullest!" Meiser, standing below, said coldly as he glared at Kuma. "Lightning Release: Kirin!!"

  "ROAR!!"

"No matter how powerful the technique, it's useless if it doesn't hit," Kuma remarked.

With that, he swiftly crouched and slammed his palm against the ground.

  "BOOM!!"

The tremendous force caused the ground to collapse instantly, shattering the clone that had just emerged from below.

"Using a clone to ambush from underground?

  'What a naive brat!'

With his Observation Haki, how could he possibly be hit by such a simple sneak attack?

Glancing at the increasingly bright sky, Kuma quickly raised his hand, intending to repel himself away first.

But before he could act, the clone he had shattered suddenly exploded, transforming into a dazzling blue light!

"What the...?!"

Kuma's pupils instantly contracted—this was actually lightning? That clone was composed of electricity?

"Zzzzt!"

Seeing this, Kuma didn't hesitate for even a second. He immediately propelled himself backward, attempting to evade the attack.

Unfortunately, due to the large amount of water on the battlefield, the Lightning Release infused with Chakra moved just as fast as he did.

"Zzzzt—zzzt—zzzt!"

The electric current, traveling along the water's surface, caught up to Kuma almost instantly, sending a violent jolt through his body. Several mechanical components short-circuited briefly.

At that moment, Kuma couldn't even move a muscle.

So it was because of the water... Was this why he had created this battlefield?

Kuma's heart sank. As a cyborg, most of his body had been mechanized—and machinery was highly vulnerable to lightning!

No matter how he calculated it, he never expected his opponent's clone to be made of electricity.

"I've been waiting for you," Meiser sneered, not letting this golden opportunity slip. With a fierce swing of his arm, he roared:

"FALL!!"

"BOOM!!"

An enormous Thunder Beast descended from the sky at an imperceptible speed, appearing right in front of Kuma's face in an instant!

I underestimated him...

Watching the Thunder Beast closing in, Kuma's pupils shrank to pinpricks.

"BOOM!!"

The terrifying force of the lightning struck Kuma squarely, locking him in complete paralysis.

The next moment, the lightning's power began spreading wildly, attacking everything within its range!

"BOOM!!"

"BOOM!!"

"BOOM!!"

The merciless thunder ravaged the earth, engulfing the entire area in its fury.

The horrifying scene was like the apocalypse itself!

A blinding light erupted, turning night into day!

The searing brightness forced Lola and the others to instinctively shut their eyes—but even that couldn't block out the terrifying radiance.

Even through their eyelids, they could still feel the dreadful glare!

"Is this the end of the world?!!" Echo screamed, covering his ears. "This is insane!!"

But sadly, no one could hear him over the deafening roar of the attack.

"BOOM!!"

"BOOM!!"

"BOOM!!"

Countless boulders were shattered into pieces, the ground blasted into massive craters one after another. Even the towering structures were reduced to rubble!

The explosions and thunderclaps echoed endlessly in everyone's ears.

And Kuma, at the epicenter of the technique, took the full brunt of the attack without even twitching.

"BOOM!!"

After a moment, the Lightning Release's power gradually faded, and the blinding light dimmed, returning the battlefield to its original state.

"Zzzzt... zzzzt..."

Lying in the crater, Kuma's body crackled with residual electricity, twitching sporadically like a malfunctioning machine.

His glasses were shattered, his clothes tattered, and large patches of his body bore severe burns. He looked utterly devastated.

"Such... such terrifying power..."

"Is this the power of a ninja?"

"So strong!"

Tooth and the others swallowed hard, looking at Meiser as if he were a god.

Only a god could achieve such terrifying effects, right?

"This must be Kami-sama!!"

"That's right!!"

"It's Kami-sama!!!"

Watching the excited Tooth and his group, Sanji and the others also instinctively gulped.

This kind of technique from Meiser was something they were seeing for the first time—it was absolutely terrifying.

They subconsciously moved closer to take a look and immediately spotted Tyrant Kuma lying at the bottom of the crater, twitching occasionally.

"Did... did we win?"

"I think so. That guy looks completely wrecked..."

"Great, we won!!"

"Whoo!!"

Everyone cheered excitedly, feeling as if they had narrowly escaped death.

There was no helping it—the power Tyrant Kuma had displayed was simply too terrifying. Even when they gave it their all, they couldn't deal any effective damage to him.

It wasn't until Meiser stepped in that they truly managed to take him down!!

"Combined Ultimate Technique!!"

"This is a Combined Ultimate Technique!!"

Usopp and Chopper exclaimed excitedly to Nami, "Nami, this was your Combined Ultimate Technique with Meiser!"

The attack unleashed by their teamwork was like divine punishment—utterly terrifying!

Damn it, they wished they could have a Combined Ultimate Technique with Meiser too!!

"Yeah..."

Nami nodded subconsciously. She hadn't expected that she and Meiser could unleash such devastating power together.

It was just like when they had encountered Enel back then!

"Phew..."

"Seems like lightning is extremely effective against cyborgs."

Glancing at Kuma, whose eyes had rolled back, Meiser let out a long sigh and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Having fought two high-intensity battles in a row, using dozens of ninjutsu—including many high-level or secret techniques that consumed a lot of chakra—Meiser was genuinely exhausted.

"Are you guys okay over there?"

Meiser, sitting on a rock to rest, turned to look at Nami and the others in the distance.

Although the main target of the Thunder Beast's attack had been here, lightning could still conduct through other means.

If any unlucky soul happened to step into a puddle, they'd definitely get electrocuted.

Ordinary people like Echo and the others would surely die if struck by such an attack.

"We're fine, all of us are okay."

"Good, that's a relief." Meiser sighed in relief. If his own allies had been taken out by his ninjutsu, that would've been a real mess.

"Pitter-patter~"

The rain began to fall, washing over everything.

Feeling the cool droplets, Meiser instinctively reached out to touch them and murmured, "This method really saves me a lot more chakra than using ninjutsu myself."

If he had used this technique alone, he would've had to employ Fire Release to alter the temperature and create a massive cumulonimbus cloud.

But with Nami around, it was different—she could generate the cumulonimbus cloud for him without any cost.

This way... the difficulty of using the Lightning Release: Kirin technique was drastically reduced.

"You actually had a move like this hidden away..." Zoro walked over, unwrapping the bandana from his arm, and said, "That was seriously terrifying."

Watching Zoro walk back, Meiser hopped down from the rock and asked with confusion, "Where did you run off to just now?"

Judging by Zoro's appearance, he didn't seem to have been knocked unconscious by Kuma.

"Ah, I got sent flying pretty far," Zoro averted his gaze.

"More like you got lost again," Sanji teased. If not for the commotion here, he'd have doubted whether Zoro could even find his way back. This guy's sense of direction was truly ridiculous.

"What did you say?!" Zoro instantly flared up. "You looking for a fight?!"

"Bring it on!"

Clang clatter bang

Lola:

Watching these two suddenly start brawling, Lola was utterly dumbfounded. How could they still have so much energy?

They'd just gone through two major battles, yet they still had strength to spare for fighting?

Is this the power of the Straw Hat Pirates... Truly terrifying!!

"These two..." Usopp sighed helplessly. "They never know when to quit."

Nami glanced over before looking away. Since the battle was over anyway, let them fight if they wanted.

The only pity was that this Royal Seven Warlord of the Sea had come to someone else's territory, meaning they couldn't get their hands on his treasure. Otherwise... what a huge payday that would've been!!

Just thinking about it made Nami feel regretful.

"I wonder how much our bounties will increase this time," Franky said.

Having defeated two Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea head-on, the Straw Hat Pirates' bounties were bound to rise to terrifying amounts.

"Yeah, bounties!" Chopper exclaimed excitedly. "Will they go up?!"

He cared deeply about bounty amounts—that "50 Berries" label was painfully embarrassing to him.

"Will I get one too?!" Merry asked eagerly.

"You guys... this isn't exactly a good thing..." Nami said helplessly. What was so great about higher bounties?

They'd just attract dangerous bounty hunters. What if someone came to collect their heads?

Unfortunately, the others didn't seem concerned about such matters. Only Nami was worried.

"Relax. If anyone comes for our heads, we'll just take them down," Meiser said nonchalantly.

Mere bounty hunters weren't worth Meiser's concern.

Just then, a strange sound reached Meiser's ears—like... the noise of an inflating balloon.

"What's that?" Meiser frowned. At that moment, Echo's pupils contracted as she pointed behind Meiser. "Th-that... what is that?!"

From her perspective, a massive, colored gas was rising from the crater, taking the shape of what looked like a bear's paw!!
