Chapter 10 - chapter 10 end

After the marking ceremony, I never heard from Drew again.

No calls, no messages—only silence.

Yet in that silence, I found peace.

Sometimes, late at night, when the moon hung low and silver in the sky, I felt a quiet ache for what once was—the boy who had loved me so fiercely, whose heart had broken when I walked away.

But love, I've learned, isn't always about holding on.

Sometimes, it's about letting go.

Letting go of what we thought our lives would be, and embracing the paths that lead us to where we truly belong.

Peter's hand in mine is steady and warm, a promise of new beginnings.

And though the past still echoes softly in the chambers of my heart, I am no longer defined by it.

I am defined by the woman I have become—strong, loved, and finally free.

The Silvermist Pack is behind me now, a chapter closed with dignity and grace.

And as I step forward into the life I have chosen, I carry no regrets.

Only hope.

And the unshakable belief that sometimes, the most profound love is the love we find when we finally learn to love ourselves.
