Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: K.O.

Since the shadow is connected to the physical body, if the physical body changes, the shadow will also change. Conversely, if the shadow changes, in theory, the physical body will also change.

—Gecko Moria

'Shadow Revolution' is a seemingly quite idealistic technique. By changing the form of the shadow, the form of the main body is correspondingly changed. That's right, a very unreasonable effect, but Devil Fruit abilities are inherently such unreasonable, somewhat idealistic powers.

Now, Gecko Moria demonstrated to everyone present just how outrageous the development of Devil Fruit abilities could be!

The small sharp horns on the sides of his forehead transformed into huge, curved goat-like horns.

The onion-shaped hairstyle on his head became like raging hellfire, yet emitted not even a speck of heat or light. His narrow eyes glowed with eerie blood-red light, his sharp teeth became even more grotesque, and his upper and lower canines protruded directly from his lips, exposed. His fingertips became sharp and terrifying, and a pair of huge bat wings directly sprouted from his back. His overall height soared to a terrifying 30 meters!

Shadow Revolution: Limb Horn King!!

Victor, whose stature was already not particularly tall, looked like a tiny ant in front of Gecko Moria in his Limb Horn King form.

Victor laboriously wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. In fact, he was surprised himself that he had been able to fight Gecko Moria to this extent. Gecko Moria at this period was simply too strong.

His biggest miscalculation was deducing Moria's current strength based on the Gecko Moria from 8 years later in the manga!

Moria's Armament Haki was stronger than his, his Observation Haki could interfere with his own, his Devil Fruit development was far superior, and his Haki reserves, size, and strength greatly surpassed his own. Even though Moria no longer possessed Conqueror's Haki at this time, he still pressured Victor throughout the fight.

However, having reached this point, there was no turning back. He had to grit his teeth and persevere until the very last moment!

Victor glanced at the metal box beside him.

This metal zipper warehouse, transformed from a huge rock, only had 1/3 of its contents remaining, enough for at most one more 'Ferocious Chains' attack.

Only one chance left. He had to end it with a single blow!

Victor half-bent over, hands on his knees, and let out a sharp breath, ignoring the pain warnings from various parts of his body as he squeezed out every last ounce of strength. His voice was not loud, yet it drowned out the thunderous, earth-shattering roar of Clock Tower Island, clearly reaching Gecko Moria's ears:

"Come on, Mr. Moria. This truly is the last strike..."

Gecko Moria, in his Limb Horn King form, wasn't feeling well either. He felt his stamina plummeting rapidly. He rarely used this technique, even before challenging Kaido when he was in perfect condition, because it was a double-edged sword for Gecko Moria himself.

He let out a sinister chuckle, and the lightless flames on his head burned even more fiercely: "Hee hee hee hee... Good! As you wish! Victor!"

He would use this final blow to finish off this Zipper Boy who simply wouldn't go down!

Both sides' auras continuously escalated, about to reach their peak.

Mai Hime and Perona, watching from a distance, nervously clutched each other's small hands, silently praying for Victor.

Suddenly, a beast's wail came from not far beside them.

The two girls looked suspiciously, and saw a cluster of figures slowly appearing in that direction. A lion-faced man in a top hat was clutching the back of his head, eyes bulging, groaning and crouching. At his feet was a large, blood-stained rock, seemingly a piece of debris from the earthquake that had hit the back of his head.

Beside the lion-faced monster Absalom lay the old scholar, wrapped in bandages. The grotesque doctor Hogback, with a round body and thin legs, was kneeling beside the old scholar, meticulously providing emergency treatment. Beside Hogback was a glamorous blonde zombie maid serving as a temporary nurse.

Behind these few lay a unique zombie. It was dressed in a kimono with a topknot hairstyle, a clearly extraordinary katana at its waist, and a short sword with a red scabbard tucked into its chest.

This was none other than the remains of 'Sword God' Ryuma of Wano Country, along with the famous swords 'Shusui' and 'Kobuto.' It seemed that the 'shadow' within it had been extracted by Gecko Moria, and now it lay on the ground as an unowned husk.

Mai Hime and Perona exchanged glances, a faint smile on their faces. One drew her famous sword 'Seimasun Hime,' the other summoned a multitude of mini-ghosts, and they walked towards the monstrous group.

On the battlefield.

Both sides had accumulated sufficient power, waiting only to unleash the final, decisive blow.

Victor felt his accumulated energy had reached its peak; it was time! The metal zipper warehouse beside him instantly disintegrated, a large amount of zippers transforming into a massive, ancient-looking full-coverage gauntlet that completely enveloped Victor's left arm. The surface of the gauntlet was covered in Ferocious Chains, rapidly spinning, sharp chain teeth, emitting an ear-piercing buzzing sound.

Victor roared, unleashing every last ounce of squeezed power, and drove the Giggantic gauntlet, like that of an evil god, fiercely towards Gecko Moria!

"Ferocious Chains! Hades' Fury!!"

"Wa-hahahaha! Come on! I'll use this 'Resurrected Monster' move to utterly annihilate you!!" Gecko Moria violently swung his left arm, his pitch-black shadow cloak entwining around his fist to form a massive gauntlet, and punched fiercely towards Victor! He intended to use this single blow to utterly crush Victor head-on!

But, how does that saying go?

A man has only one destiny.

Gecko Moria's massive body and weight caused the already shattered ground to give way completely. Just as he was about to deliver this fierce, powerful blow, the ground beneath his feet suddenly fractured. And Gecko Moria, having retracted all his shadow pool and shadow cloak to concentrate power, had no time to summon new shadow hands to stabilize the ground beneath him!

With a strange cry, Gecko Moria plunged directly into a deep underground pit. His enormous and Ferocious Chains shadow gauntlet also slammed obliquely into the remnants of the bell not far from Victor, shattering it into pieces!

And at that very same moment, Victor's full-power attack arrived before Gecko Moria!

BOOM!!!!!!

This powerful, full-force blow struck Gecko Moria squarely in the chest, sending his massive 30-meter-tall body crashing through the broken pit he was in and flying straight towards the sky!

Time seemed to stand still.

Gecko Moria's terrifyingly colossal body, after being blasted to its highest point, began to fall rapidly, with black shadows continuously escaping from his form. Finally, with a thunderous crash, he slammed onto the already dilapidated ground.

At this moment, Gecko Moria's eyes were white, his chest was caved in, his mouth and nose were full of blood, and his height had returned to his original approximate 7 meters.

Not far away, Victor swayed, having expended all his strength, as if he would collapse to the ground at any moment.

Then, the golden-haired man, covered in wounds, clenched his fist and raised it high!

The battle at the central church square of the Clock Tower Village ruins has ended—

—The Victor, Victor.
