Chapter 153 - Chapter 154: Roar of the Five-Colored Dragon

BOOM!

The enormous claw of the Nether White Tiger ripped through the air with a piercing whoosh, slamming down toward Forth Woll. The sheer force split the earth beneath them, sending cracks spiderwebbing across the ground.

"Did… she win?"

As the dust storm cleared, Tang Wulin and the others lowered their arms, which they had been using to shield themselves.

And then they saw it—

Beneath the massive claw of the Nether White Tiger was a slender, jade-white hand, glowing with a five-colored light, that firmly gripped the strike.

Its owner, Forth Woll, looked up at the towering beast with a faintly crazed smile. Meeting the tiger's massive eyes, she said mockingly:

"What's wrong? Is this all the strength you've got?"

"WHAT?!"

Tang Wulin and Luo Guixing both froze, mouths agape, stunned at the impossible sight before them.

How could this be?!

Of all of them, Tang Wulin was the most shaken. As one who bore the Golden Dragon King bloodline, he had absolute confidence in his own physical strength. Precisely because of that, he knew better than anyone—

A Martial Soul Fusion Skill! That's supposed to be unstoppable! Yet she's meeting it head-on… without even faltering?! Isn't she supposed to be a Tool Soul Master?

He couldn't accept it. Even he wouldn't dare directly clash with the Nether White Tiger. And according to Teacher Cang, Forth was a Tool Soul Master. So how could her body rival this?!

Meanwhile, Wu Siduo, the caster of the fusion skill herself, was even more shocked. She could feel it clearly—the five-colored brilliance seeping into her body, eating away at her power, while Forth's grip locked her claws in place.

Forth's beautiful face twisted with manic confidence, her taunting words stoking Wu Siduo's rage.

The Nether White Tiger lifted its other claw and brought it down with a thunderous smash.

CRASH!

Again, Forth caught it barehanded. Everyone watching could see it—she wasn't using skill or technique, only raw strength.

Wu Siduo's expression darkened. Both her claws were now pinned, and she couldn't even pull them back. In this contest of power, she had been utterly suppressed.

Worse, her soul power was being steadily eroded by the invading five-colored energy. Her Martial Soul Fusion wouldn't last much longer.

But—

"Take this!"

The Nether White Tiger's jaws opened wide, gathering a blinding orb of white energy. Yes, Forth was restraining her—but in doing so, wasn't she also restrained? Wu Siduo forced her claws down harder, locking her opponent in place, as the white blast grew within her mouth.

This would decide it.

"Not bad. But did you really think that's enough to beat me? Too naïve."

Fourth still didn't panic. Her lips curled, and she spoke softly:

"This move is called—Roar of the Five-Colored Dragon."

Her rosy lips parted. A beam of multicolored light formed before her mouth—gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. Five elements, fusing.

"SWISH!"

The Nether White Tiger's eyes narrowed as it unleashed its own white blast.

At the same instant, Forth spat forth her five-element ray.

BOOM…

No explosion. No clash of equals.

The five-colored ray shredded the white blast instantly, pierced straight through the Nether White Tiger's head, and obliterated everything in its path.

Trees vanished. Air dissolved. The destructive light shot skyward, leaving behind only the tiger's headless body.

Wu Siduo's Martial Soul Fusion shattered. Her massive, beastly form dissolved into light and vanished.

"Well then…"

Forth's voice was calm, almost playful, as she swept her gaze across the stunned survivors.

"Who's next?"

Her eyes locked onto Luo Guixing's group—the closest to her.

"!!"

All of them froze as her gaze fell on them. Luo Guixing most of all.

At last, he understood why Teacher Cai had called her the "Strongest Freshman." And why she had rejected his invitation before.

She had the power to annihilate groups with wide-range attacks, the raw strength to crush Martial Soul Fusion Skills, and the composure of a monster.

Without question, Forth Woll was more than qualified to be class monitor.

Truthfully, Luo Guixing had thought Forth's strength might match Wu Siduo's at best. With his space-element martial soul, his teammates, and his tactical command, he believed himself untouchable so long as multiple prodigies didn't gang up on him.

But reality had slapped him hard.

Wu Siduo alone was already terrifying—her Nether Cat's speed combined with the White Tiger's power was deadly enough. The fact that she had hidden a Martial Soul Fusion Skill as her trump card made her a potential squad-killer on her own.

Yet even she had been dismantled by Forth Woll head-on. And Forth looked like she still wasn't even serious.

Against her, Luo Guixing's current lineup had no chance. Still, he refused to surrender.

A silver vortex spun outward from his body, not pulling in, but repelling with immense force. It was a defensive spatial barrier—designed to guard against sudden strikes or even another blast of Five Elements Divine Light.

"Move!"

Luo Guixing's silver glow flared, and within the vortex, he pulled in Xu Xiaoyan, the fire-bird soul master, and their support teammate. Together, they began to fade into teleportation.

But then—

The silver light warped. The vortex wavered violently, as though something had thrown space itself into chaos.

Not good!

Of all elements, space was the most dangerous to lose control of. A firestorm out of control merely burned. But spatial turbulence… once destabilized, it was near-impossible to escape.

The teleportation collapsed. Energy exploded outward.

Cracks ripped open across the sky.

The violent fluctuation made even Tang Wulin's group, watching nearby, turn pale.

They bolted at full speed to avoid being caught in the blast.
