Noah made his way to his house, but while walking, he couldn't help but notice that in nearly every post there was a photo of him with a missing notice and a reward of forty thousand dollars for whoever found him. Every person he passed, with familiar faces, would glance at him, then at the poster. They obviously saw the resemblance, but the picture showed a fourteen-year-old boy while Noah was in the body of an adult.

One person actually stopped Noah. "Whoa, wait, you really look like the boy in the poster. Are you his older brother or something?" Noah hesitated before saying, "No, I'm not the missing boy's brother."

"That's crazy, you really do look like him, though. Um- if I were you, I wouldn't stay here in the town for too long. You're going to confuse a lot of good people, and Andrew, the father of the boy, has been taking his disappearance horribly. He's got newspapers sent all over about his missing son. He has also not been to his church since his son went missing. Anyways, I should be going."

Noah was stunned; he hadn't thought that his father would go this far for him, especially since Noah knew that his father knew that he was a mutant. Maybe that's why his father wants to find him; he doesn't want anybody to know that his son is a demon. Noah thought.

Noah continued walking, and many people glanced or stared at him. Noah sighed in relief when he got to the outskirts of his town, where the forest started to surround him. He was getting close to his house.

Then, as Noah passed the numerous trees, a cleared large lot with a large house on that lot was seen. The house looked the same, looked the same as how he remembered it, but everything was different now. Noah only came back here for closure and acceptance. Closure he would get no matter what, but acceptance, if he did not get it, he would not stay long.

Noah then looked at the porch, and there he saw his mother. Noah was too far to make too much out of her features, but close enough to tell it was her. Noah walked to the long driveway and began his steps to his mother.

Mary saw a person in her driveway, but was unsure of who they were. Even as they got closer, Mary was unsure as the person had a hat and sunglasses on.

Mary waited until the person was close enough a distance to talk comfortably. "Who are you and why are you here?" The question wasn't harsh, but it was cautious. Mary's hands unconsciously went to her belly for emotional support.

Noah had unshed tears in his eyes. He stared at his mother through a blurry vision as he said smally "m-mom…" Many emotions were going through Noah. The sight of his mother for the first time in months and the thought that she would not recognize him made him feel his heart clench in pain. He could literally feel pain in his chest, and he clutched his shirt where his heart is located. Noah then, with his other hand, slowly reached for his glasses to take them off.

Mary was confused seeing the man in front of her, and then even more surprised when he whispered the word "mom." But it was when the man took off his sunglasses and saw the light blue, teary-eyed boy that she had known her whole life that Mary's eyes widened before she reacted, running toward her boy and wrapping her arms around him. She didn't even notice her sobbing into his shoulder. Mary felt Noah wrapping his arms around her as well. They stood there for a few minutes, both crying.

That's when Andrew, looking for his wife, came outside to see her hugging some strange man. Andrew charged forward with the anger of a buffalo pushing the man awsy from his wife. "What is happening here!" He yelled, looking at Mary, who was flabbergasted at what had just happened.

Noah fell to the ground, landing on the ground feeling a slight pain from his arm that he landed on. Noah's eyes glowed blue, and then the injury was fixed immediately. During the fall, Noah's hat fell off him and to the ground beside him.

Andrew looked from his wife and then to the man on the ground, and then, seeing his resemblance to his son, his anger disappeared, and in its place was confusion. "Noah?" Andrew asked, unsure of himself. The person in front of him looked like Noah but was at least four years older than him. Andrew then glanced at his wife, who had just adjusted to what had happened.

Mary ignored Andrew as she ran over to Noah's side and crouched down on him. "Noah baby, are you okay?" She asked to check him to see if there were any wounds. Noah no longer had tears in his eyes, and he had overcome his moment of overwhelming emotions; in their stead were disappointment and anger, but those emotions were not on his face; instead, his face seemed emotionless. "I'm fine, Mom." Noah replied, standing up. Mary stood up as well next to him.

Andrew overcame his shock as he asked, "Why do you look like you have aged four years?" Noah looked around the large yard, and even though he was sure no one was there, his thoughts went to Harry as he said, "I think it would be better if we talked inside."

Andrew nodded in hesitant agreement, and then the three of them went into the house, heading to the dining room table.

Noah looked at both of his parents; his mother sat to his right, taking his right hand into both her hands. His father sat across from him. They both stared at Noah patiently. Noah sighed before he began. "I am a mutant." Noah said and waited for his parents' reaction. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, his parents didn't react in shock or even disappointment. 'They already knew. Which means what Charles told me is true, his father was also a mutant who could identify other mutants.' Noah guessed to himself. Noah didn't wait for his parents to say anything; instead, he pointed at his dad. "You are a mutant as well."

Andrew's eyes widened in shock, but then they closed with acceptance. Andrew took a deep breath and was about to say something, but couldn't because his son beat him to it. "You are a mutant who hunted and killed other mutants in the name of God." There was anger and even hatred in Noah's eyes. Mary didn't let go of her son's hands, but she knew the situation was getting tense, and she wondered if there was any way she could fix the situation.

Mary thought back to when she found out that her husband killed people, and even though she knew it was wrong, she had overlooked it because she loved him, and she even came to accept him, even if he did kill people. Mary accepted his thought process that mutants were evil and deserved to be killed because she did love him, but now, she wondered if accepting it and moving on was the correct decision for her family.

Andrew looked at his son and saw anger, and then he looked at his wife and saw regret. He decided then that the only way they would be able to get past this as a family was if he told the truth. "The first mutant I ever killed was my father." Andrew went silent, letting his wife and son take in that information before he continued.

"I was born in a church, much like you, Noah, but unlike you, my mother died in childbirth. My father blamed me for my mother's death every second of my life. He claimed that I was a killer and that God would send me to hell. He never physically harmed me until he deemed I was old enough. At the age of eight, when I argued with my father, he looked at me with anger, and his blue eyes turned red, and I felt pain all over my body.

That pain I felt until I passed out. I didn't know what my father did, but somehow, he was able to cause intense pain to me without any evidence of it being there. After doing it once, he did it more and more often.

When I turned sixteen, I discovered that every time I looked at my father, I saw a red light all around him. And from his strange ability and seeing the strange red hue around him, I assumed that he was a demon and that God would want me to kill him. He was the first mutant I recognized without even knowing he or I was a mutant. I killed him when he was asleep, and no one found out it was me, so I got his inheritance.

After killing him, I would every so often see a demon, and I would follow that demon to find out that they also had a weird ability, and I killed them. I never questioned if I was a demon myself, that was until that night that you went with us to kill a mutant, and I saw a glowing blue and gold aura around you, Noah.

It was at that moment that the back of my mind made me question if the reason why you were a mutant was because you inherited it, and then that made me question my ability to track demons."

Noah processed his father's story, and for the first time in a long time, he understood his father. His father was a strict parent because his father was horrible to him, and he hunted mutants because he actually did think they were demons. But Noah also realized that he had to clear up some things with his father.

"Mutants are not demons. Your father was just an evil man. Just because he was an evil mutant doesn't make all mutants bad." Noah said, and surprisingly, both his parents nodded in agreement, and his mother took his hand and squeezed it in reassurance. Noah looked at his mother and smiled a bit before he continued.

"I'm going to tell you everything that has happened to me these past two months. Would you two like to listen?" Noah asked, a bit unsure.

"Of course we want to know, sweety." Mary replied.

"It's to be expected that we, your parents, would know what happened to you." Andrew replied.

Noah talked to the two of them, telling them about his mutant abilities and about being abducted by Harry and the torture that Harry caused him. Mary cried while Andrew looked so angry that he could and would kill someone.

Noah continued as he told how two mutants saved him, and then about him going to CIA headquarters to help stop a war. The mutants he met, both bad and the good ones. Noah explained the mutants fighting each other because of what they thought was for the best for mutant kind.

Noah then explained even after they stopped the war, both nations aimed their weapons at the mutants. Noah then described how he stopped one of the mutants that saved him from redirecting the weapons sent at them to the soldiers on the ships.

It was a long story to tell, but his parents listened patiently. They could not believe all that Noah went through. Andrew took into consideration all these mutants' abilities, especially the one who could read and control minds, since he was the one who told Noah that he was a mutant.

Andrew was also interested in his son's abilities; somehow, they fit him perfectly. Being able to heal injuries seemed like a gift instead of a curse. But he also knew that Noah had to keep his abilities a secret, so he said, "It will be difficult to convince everyone that you are my son because of your age. Can you use your abilities to reverse your age to be fourteen again?"

Noah took a moment to think, and he came up with the answer that he could do that, but he did not want to do that. Noah liked being nineteen, so he decided to lie. "No, I can't, at least not yet."

Andrew nodded in acceptance. "We will need to get you a new fake ID, and you will be a cousin who is visiting us. You will also need to go to GED classes because that is something that I will not be able to just give you; besides, you need to learn what you have missed from the past. Also, I need you to promise me that, unless it is an absolute emergency, you never use your abilities in public."

Noah thought about it and knew that that was a fair request, but also knew that he needed his father to stop hunting mutants, so he replied, "As long as you promise me that you will stop hunting mutants."

Andrew looked hesitant, that was until he saw the look on Mary's face. "Alright, fine, I will not hunt mutants." He agreed.

Andrew then got up and said, "Well, I think that's the end of the meeting."

Noah got up as well, which resulted in Mary standing up. Andrew then went over to his son and hugged him as he said, "I missed you, son, and I'm glad you're back." Mary joined them in the hug.
