Chapter 124 - Chapter 124

Good directly used the Rust-Rust Fruit's power, turning the Third Elder's First Generation Kitetsu into a pile of rust, leaving the Elder wide-eyed in shock.

For a moment, he was completely dazed.

All around, everyone was dumbfounded.

"What's going on? The Third Elder's Kitetsu just disintegrated!?"

"That's impossible… it's one of the Cursed Swords… the First Generation Kitetsu!"

"And wait—how did Good even appear just now!?"

The Marines muttered in disbelief.

From the moment Good appeared until now, in just a brief span, far too many incomprehensible things had happened.

In the shadows, "old schemer" Teach's eyes were wide in shock.

"Could it be… this guy really ate the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia itself!?"

As one obsessed with Devil Fruits, Teach instantly recognized what he was seeing.

Kaido's Fish-Fish Fruit, Azure Dragon form.

Sengoku's Human-Human Fruit, Great Buddha model.

The Door-Door Fruit.

And now the Rust-Rust Fruit.

This was insane — in just moments, Good displayed multiple new powers he'd never shown before.

As for the Third Elder, a swordsman without his blade was like a man without arms.

He was enraged beyond reason.

"You… you dared to destroy my Kitetsu…!!"

In the crowd, Mihawk's cold eyes flickered. He silently sheathed Yoru, his Black Sword.

From this day forth, he would never provoke Good — that "monster."

The Third Elder, blinded by fury, clenched his fist and struck at Good barehanded.

Good only smiled.

The combined might of Buddha and Dragon hardened his massive frame, making his defense unbreakable. He caught the punch effortlessly.

"As a swordsman, using fists isn't very fitting," Good chuckled.

The Elder's face twisted in alarm. Only now did he realize the terrifying truth — Good's raw physical power was monstrous.

He tried to pull back, but Good's iron grip locked onto his arm like a vice.

Panic set in. The Elder screamed toward Sengoku:

"Attack! Save me, now!"

Sengoku snapped from his daze. He could no longer ponder how Good had gained his Buddha powers.

"Good!" he shouted. "Release him! There's still room for compromise. If you surrender, I swear on my life, I'll make sure you are spared!"

The Elder quickly added, desperate:

"Yes! We can negotiate! You've done so much for the Marines and the World Government. Release me, and we'll show leniency—"

Good cut him off with a grin.

"Alright, I'll let you go."

The Elder's heart eased at his simple smile. Relief flooded in.

But then Good spoke one word:

"ROOM!!"

A special space expanded outward, surrounding them.

In the next instant, Good's other hand became a blade. He sliced clean through the Elder's arm.

Even coated in Armament Haki, the Elder's limb fell like butter under a knife.

The Elder tumbled to the ground, staring in horror at his severed arm.

"No!! My… my arm…!!"

There was no pain, no blood — but the loss was real.

Good held the severed arm in his massive hand, a goofy grin on his face. Ice spread across his palm, freezing it solid. With a squeeze, the limb shattered into shards.

The Elder trembled, rage and humiliation twisting his features.

All around, silence.

"His… his arm is gone?"

"This must be a dream, right?"

"It doesn't feel real at all…"

Marines and pirates alike couldn't believe it.

It looked almost too easy. With hardly any effort, Good had stripped the Third Elder of both his sword and his arm.

Law, among the new Warlords, broke into a cold sweat.

That was his power — the Ope Ope no Mi.

The crowd erupted into murmurs.

The Elder roared, broken and furious.

"Good!! I'll kill you for this!! I swear I'll kill you!!"

Sengoku's heart sank.

Good's abilities had far surpassed all logic. There was no room left for negotiation.

Good only grinned wider.

"What? Didn't I let you go? Why so angry?"

"You told me to release you — I did. How is that my fault?"

The Elder's face turned crimson with fury.

Good ignored him and turned toward Momousagi. He used the Heal-Heal Fruit's power, mending her torn wounds within moments.

She gasped, staring in disbelief.

"Good… how do you have so many powers…?"

She had always believed she understood him, but every moment shattered her expectations.

Good chuckled.

"I told you before — I fight, and I just… learn them as I go!"

Even a child wouldn't believe such nonsense. Yet Momousagi laughed through her tears.

She wrapped her arms around him, whispering with trembling joy.

"Good… you're finally back. I thought you'd never wake again."

This time, Good hugged her in return.

"What's this? Worried about me? Don't tell me you've fallen for me. If so, wait until I've cleaned up this mess — then we can talk."

Such a blunt confession made Momousagi cry and laugh at once.

She pursed her lips.

"That's the lamest confession I've ever heard."

Good laughed heartily, rising without a care.

He moved on to Tokikake, Whitebeard, Dragon… healing them one by one.

And not a single Marine dared to stop him.
