Chapter 127 - Chapter 127

The Marines' forces were immense. Even after the battle so far, they still numbered more than a hundred thousand.

No matter how strong Good was, could he withstand such endless numbers?

And behind them still stood the Grand Elder, the Second Elder, the Fourth Elder, and three Emperor-level powers.

There was no way he would leave this field alive.

The Fifth Elder's roar of a decisive battle shook the ranks.

The soldiers shouted in unison, their morale rising.

Across the field, Good grinned.

"Then let's do this!!"

His figure vanished, the ground splitting beneath his feet, leaving craters in his wake.

Normally his trail could be tracked by the shattered earth, but his speed was too overwhelming.

"Careful! Don't end up like Kaido!" the Third Elder shouted, panic tightening his throat.

Just moments ago, Kaido had been crushed by that same tactic. Now everyone feared Good would cut down another Emperor-level fighter.

Shiki and Bullet's hearts thundered in dread.

"Damn it… he's too fast!" Shiki pushed his Observation Haki to its limits, but Good's movements were impossible to follow.

"Please… not me…" Bullet whispered, scanning wildly but unable to keep up.

Their bodies tensed before any strike came — just the memory of Kaido's defeat enough to haunt them.

But the one Good chose… was neither of them.

In an instant, he stood before the Third Elder.

The Elder's eyes widened as a towering figure clad in golden scales cast its shadow over him.

That dreadful fist rose high, ready to strike.

"Kaido was first… now it's your turn, Third Elder!!"

Good's laughter was cruel, demonic.

"Ryuken: Kinbutsu-ju (Dragon Fist: Golden Buddha Cannon)!!"

His punch blurred into afterimages, faster than sight.

The Elder roared in desperation.

"Tekkai (Iron Body)!!"

But the blow still landed.

The Third Elder's body was hurled back over a hundred meters, the earth gouged by his slide, blood pouring from his mouth.

His organs ruptured, his body crumbling.

"Thud!"

He dropped to his knees, a shell of his former self, clinging to a single breath of life.

The battlefield froze in shock.

The Fifth Elder ground his teeth.

"Good, you bastard!!"

Meanwhile, Shiki and Bullet… exhaled in relief.

Thank God it hadn't been them.

Attacks rained toward Good.

Sengoku, in golden Buddha form, stepped forward.

"Good! Enough! It's not too late to turn back!!"

Good only laughed.

"Marshal, I've already crossed to the far shore. What meaning is there in turning back now?"

His fist hammered Sengoku, sending the golden giant staggering backward despite weighing hundreds of tons.

Good's gaze locked on the Third Elder. From the moment he had threatened Momousagi and Tokikake, his death had been sealed.

Tokikake muttered, stunned, "Good… to hear him speak with such clarity… it's more unbelievable than his power."

Momousagi shot him a glare.

"Careful, or Good will toss you into the battlefield yourself."

But her words carried reluctant agreement.

Good charged forward like a runaway train.

Cannon fire burst across his body, yet only fireworks bloomed against his golden scales.

"Cannons don't even scratch him… what is his body made of? Seastone?"

"Blades, bullets… nothing works!"

A new voice cut through the din.

"Fourth Admiral Good… let me test you!!"

A figure stepped into his path, standing in firm stance, hand on the hilt of his sheathed blade.

His pupils were pale and gray.

"Gravity!!"

Fujitora drew. A flash of light — and the ground beneath Good collapsed. His massive body buckled under crushing weight, slamming into the earth hard enough to shake the island.

The battlefield erupted in cheers.

"We've bound him!"

"With that massive body, Fujitora's Gravity Fruit is his weakness!"

"Fujitora is his natural counter!"

Excitement surged. Cannons poured fire into the pit where Good lay.

But when the smoke cleared, he was gone.

"Stop, Good!!" the Grand Elder roared from the ship's prow.

All eyes whipped around — to see Good standing once more before the kneeling, gasping Third Elder.

A shimmering door glowed beneath him. He had used the Door-Door Fruit to slip free of Fujitora's gravity.

Good glanced at the Grand Elder — then thrust out his hand.

Something wrenched free from the Third Elder's chest. A fragment of his very soul was torn from his body, writhing in Good's grip.

The Third Elder's eyes went wide with horror.
