Introduction to the World of "ZERO AGE"

In a universe filled with the duality of life and death, there exists a wounded world—a realm where the boundaries between reality and the void grow increasingly blurred. This is a world fractured by the Cycle of Emptiness, where lost souls are trapped in an endless loop of suffering. Amidst this destruction, a Boundary Keeper emerges: Ye Lin, a young man who rises from death only to find himself entangled in a battle against a fate far greater than he ever imagined.

World Setting:

The world of "ZERO AGE" is a place where spiritual energy, or Qi, flows like rivers, empowering cultivators who strive for immortality. Yet behind the grandeur of cultivation sects and the beauty of the land lies a dark secret: the Cycle of Emptiness—a primordial force that consumes forgotten souls, turning them into hollow fragments trapped in an interdimensional rift. Here, even the sky is no longer whole—its cracks threaten to swallow everything that holds meaning.

Opposing Forces:

The Collector: A mysterious entity that gathers corrupted souls to feed the Void. It serves an ancient power intent on extinguishing all light of life.

Cultivation Sects: Powerful factions that manipulate Qi and karma to maintain control. They view Ye Lin as a threat, as he possesses abilities that defy the natural order.

The Boundary Keeper (Ye Lin): The accidental chosen one. He has the power to purify corrupted souls and create a new world from the ruins. His Field of Heart is a symbol of hope amid the void.

Core Conflict:

Ye Lin must face two simultaneous threats:

From Within: A battle against the Void attempting to overrun his world.

From Without: Cultivation sects and even the Heavens themselves, which see him as a rebel that must be eliminated.

Behind it all, the cracks in the sky hint at a far greater threat—something even the Collector cannot control.

Story Themes:

Suffering and Redemption: Ye Lin, once merely a victim, rises to become the guardian of forgotten souls.

Creation vs. Destruction: The Field of Heart symbolizes new life growing from the ruins of the old world.

Sacrifice: To fight the Void, Ye Lin must lose parts of himself—his memories and even his humanity.

A Living World:

From the ruined village of Luoshui to the Curse Zones shrouded in darkness, every location in this story has a soul of its own. The Outer World and the Inner World intertwine, forming complex layers of reality. Even the sky is no longer neutral—it watches, judges, and sometimes, fractures.

Closing:

"ZERO AGE" is the story of a man caught in the struggle against a hollow destiny. He is no longer alive, nor truly dead—he is the boundary itself. And amid the battle between light and dark, he must choose: to preserve the cycle, or to carve a new path for the forgotten souls.

Welcome to a world where death is only the beginning, and life remains an unanswered question.
