Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 : Lord God Yujin vs the Wind Wind Fruit User!!

Next to the glass container holding the Xenomorph experiment, the heroine, Daniels, fell into a deep sleep.

Yujin recounted his experiences from the first horror movie he had entered, every scream, every encounter, everything—laid bare with no detail left out.

Of course, he didn't mention that he had crossed over to another world. He skipped that entirely, only saying that unlocking the gene lock had allowed him to have his current body.

Zhang Jie, who had just managed to stand while leaning against the wall, was breaking out in cold sweat.

Hearing the description of arms being cut off and eyes gouged out, he felt a surge of fear.

This was like having walked through the gates of hell itself.

The fact that they could still walk freely now was nothing short of a miracle.

If it hadn't been for the initial mission, Zhang Jie knew he wouldn't have had all his limbs intact.

Later, when the mission was nearly complete and the team battle began, the reward wasn't out of mercy from Meng Yao or Da Qiang.

It was because after completely annihilating the enemy team, each surviving reincarnator could receive a C-rank side plot.

Without that reward, they would have long since had their limbs removed and been left for the Xenomorphs to tear apart.

Back in the Lord God Space, these newcomers would still be waiting to be turned into human pigs, abandoned the moment the difficulty became too high.

Zang Ting listened patiently.

It was an extremely rare scene.

It was unusual to see a powerful Devil Team member patiently listening to the ramblings of ordinary squad members.

Yujin smiled. "After hearing my experiences, I hope you'll pay close attention to the information I've gathered from interacting with Meng Yao."

"First, she is a veteran who has survived over seven horror films, with her enhancements focused on…"

Yujin recalled the moment Meng Yao broke through Da Qiang's defenses, along with her naturally unstable temperament. "Most likely, it's parasite enhancement!"

"Like the male lead in the Parasite manga, her left hand is the parasite's main body."

"She can manifest an extremely sharp blade, easily slicing through the normally hardened muscles of Da Qiang."

"I haven't really seen her fight, but the focus of the Parasitic enhancement is still on her arms."

"Seven horror films, each earning over five thousand reward points, but very few side plots. She's never participated in team battles, and the number of B-rank side plots should be low. So you'll need to estimate her enhancement cap."

"Also, her personality is cautious. She values her life highly."

"She doesn't get along well with Da Qiang. I remember it was during my second horror film—I vaguely heard Da Qiang cursing Meng Yao behind her back. You can use that to your advantage."

Zang Ting, dressed in elegant attire and presenting as a cross-dresser, nodded and slightly curtsied, letting her skirt with exposed legs sway. "Thank you for the information. It helps us a lot."

Suddenly, her expression changed, and an incredibly terrifying aura erupted from her!

"Unfortunately, I have to kill you."

"In the Lord God Space, only interests matter. Right now, your only value is to become seven thousand reward points plus a B-rank side plot."

"Your flattery is useless."

Hearing the sudden reversal, Zhang Jie panicked and rushed to grab the Infinity Bullet Desert Eagle that Yujin had casually tossed on the ground.

A gust of wind blew!

The Desert Eagle was swept into the air and flung far away!

"Damn it! This guy! He still wants to kill us like this!?" Zhang Jie gritted his teeth in frustration. He was powerless—how could an ordinary human like him hope to fight a seasoned member of the Devil Squad?

Zang Ting's previous attack was just an appetizer. She turned her palm upward, and a miniature tornado swirled and gathered in her hand!

Wind Manipulation!

"Hahaha! Are there still people this arrogant?"

A sudden laugh interrupted Zang Ting's movement. She tilted her head toward Yujin. "What's so funny?"

"Sorry, you might be misunderstanding," Yujin said. His eyes turned blood-red, and sweat on his body evaporated instantly after his Gene Lock activated, rising as wisps of white smoke.

This sight startled Zang Ting, who was normally calm and unshaken.

"I'm telling you my experience only so you can judge the truth of my words, verify the accuracy of the information, and kill Meng Yao!"

"As for flattery…"

"If I killed you, I'd still have to continue 'flattering' your teammates like this. What a hassle."

"I'm not someone who fears trouble! Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

Yujin struck first, sending a fireball that covered half the cave straight at Zang Ting.

Zang Ting's expression shifted slightly as she faced the intense flames.

She hadn't yet fully understood what the guy in front of her had meant by his words.

There was some truth in them, and some deception.

If it was true… wouldn't that be ridiculous?

Who could grow so much in just the span of a horror movie?

A massive fireball combined with Sharingan, plus a first-level gene lock—calling him a veteran of four horror films wouldn't be an exaggeration…

If that were the case, wouldn't the Devil Team have a clone of this kid?

Zang Ting didn't think too much. She lightly waved her hands, letting the power of the Wind Fruit rush the air around her, forming a powerful whirlwind.

The fierce wind blew straight at the fireball.

The flames struggled in the wind.

Yujin's chakra dissipated, and the fireball ultimately broke into scattered sparks, vanishing into the air.

"Hmph! So this is your strongest move, huh?"

Zang Ting let out a light hum as the whirlwind in her hands gathered.

Wind Blades!

A visible green whirlwind slashed toward Yujin.

Its speed rivaled a kunai infused with chakra.

"Let's see how you dodge this." Zang Ting crossed her arms, ready to hear the main deity's prompt in her ear.

However…

At the very moment the Wind Blades were about to strike Yujin,

"Bang!"

His body was replaced by a piece of wood.

Since Yujin's enhancement leaned toward the path of a ninja, Zang Ting naturally had defenses against this.

Her eyes scanned the dim surroundings.

Apart from Zhang Jie, hiding and peeking in surprise, and Daniels lying unconscious on the ground, she didn't see anyone else.

"Escaped? What kind of jutsu is that?"

"Here!"

Zang Ting suddenly turned around, a fierce gust of wind erupting around her!

The wind was sharp like knives, and even Zhang Jie, standing at a distance, felt a stinging pain on his face!

Yujin's figure appeared like a phantom behind Zang Ting. Without any hesitation, he formed hand signs again and unleashed Water Release: Water Formation Wall!

A massive wall of water shot up from the ground, forming an unbreakable barrier that blocked Zang Ting's counterattack!

Zang Ting sneered, and her body vanished from her original spot. In the next moment, she was hovering above the water wall.

She pressed her hands together, and the power of the Wind-Wind Fruit activated once more!

Sharp wind blades formed around her body, cutting through the water wall like deadly knives.

Yujin knew in his heart that the water wall couldn't withstand Zang Ting's assault for long.

A flash of resolve appeared in his eyes as he immediately formed new hand signs!

In his hands appeared two kunai and a boomerang. With transparent threads attached, these weapons spun rapidly in the air, forming a deadly windmill aimed straight at Zang Ting.

Despite the lethal attack, Zang Ting remained calm.

Her body suddenly transformed into a whirlwind. The power of the Wind-Wind Fruit made her body like invisible wind, easily dodging Yujin's weapons.

Her figure flickered in and out with the wind, each appearance accompanied by deadly wind blades slicing through Yujin's defenses.

Yujin's Sharingan spun rapidly, analyzing every movement of Zang Ting.

His movements on the battlefield were like illusions, each dodge executed with artistic precision.

Zang Ting felt an unusual sense of helplessness. Even the invisible wind seemed powerless against Yujin's two-tomoe Sharingan, which had a hint of Observation Haki!

No matter how elusive the wind, this kid could dodge it.

After half a day of battle, neither side had gained an advantage.
