Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 : Meng Yao vs Cultivator!!

"BANG!!!"

The collision between the concrete slab and the Iron Monger's armor sent a deafening roar through the air, shaking the entire Stark Industries hall!

The Iron Monger's shell didn't just dent under the enormous force—it cracked and deformed visibly.

Its massive body slid across the floor from the impact, only stopping when it slammed into the hall's wall.

Inside, Obadiah felt devastating damage.

The sudden, overwhelming force shook his insides violently, as if his entire body were being ripped apart. His head throbbed with intense pain, his vision went black, and his ears were filled with endless roaring.

His bones and muscles suffered varying degrees of injury; ribs could be broken, and internal bleeding was possible.

Under Yujin's explosive strikes, the Iron Monger's hard shell began to cave in. Each heavy blow hit like a giant hammer on iron, echoing with an ear-splitting crash.

Obadiah inside the Iron Monger was dizzy from the relentless impact. His mind slowed, and he could only swing the mechanical arms instinctively, wildly, in an attempt to hit his opponent.

However, Yujin's twin tomoe Sharingan granted him extraordinary dynamic vision.

With the Sharingan's help, the Iron Monger's originally lightning-fast movements appeared slow and clumsy to him, like a slow-motion replay in a movie.

He easily shifted his body, dodging every attack with an elegant grace.

Every evasive movement was executed with pinpoint precision. The Iron Monger's fists missed him by mere millimeters, thuds echoing as every strike smashed uselessly against its own armor.

The metallic clang resonated through Stark Industries, as Yujin single-handedly pummeled the Iron Monger.

Tony Stark and Pepper Potts watched in stunned silence, unable to utter a single word.

How had humans evolved to this level?

Why had no one warned us?

Yujin's attacks grew even more ferocious. Every punch carried immense force, every kick burned with rage.

Behind him, the cloud-like patterns of the Cursed Seal of Heaven churned like boiling clouds, providing him with an endless flow of power.

His flesh moved under the hoodie, as if lending extra power to his attacks.

Thanks to his pirate physiology, his fists were as hard as iron.

The gene lock only doubled his strength.

The Iron Monger began to stagger under Yujin's relentless strikes, its outer shell covered in pits and dents—the marks of Yujin's fury.

Obadiah's frantic swings grew weaker.

His mechanical arm was increasingly difficult to lift, and the Iron Monger's movements became sluggish.

Obadiah wanted to ask, "What did I do to offend you? If I apologize, can we just let this go?"

Finally, under a powerful uppercut from Yujin, the Iron Monger's head armor cracked with a sharp snap.

The entire mech fell backward, crashing heavily onto the floor of Stark Industries, sending up a cloud of dust.

Obadiah was completely defeated.

His ambitions and schemes were shattered by Yujin's iron fist.

Yujin grabbed the cockpit of the Iron Monger with both hands.

After a grating "screeech" of metal, a dazed, bald head came into view.

He yanked Obadiah out and tossed him to the ground, then walked toward Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.

"I'll leave the cleanup to you," he said.

Not wanting Tony to miss his face, he pulled back his hood and shouted, "Let me introduce myself! Besides being a mysterious diviner from the East, I've also studied Kung Fu for two months!"

The Iron Monger had been thoroughly beaten by Yujin.

Meanwhile, Da Qiang was being chased like a lost dog by Meng Yao.

Da Qiang had fully activated his first-tier gene lock, and with his strength enhanced by the Ugurou skill, he gathered all the muscle from his upper body into his legs, completely sacrificing his defense.

He didn't dare resist Meng Yao's attacks even for a second.

When Da Qiang first entered the Lord God Space and experienced the horror of Resident Evil 1, he had seen Meng Yao stand toe-to-toe with the strongest threats.

Every cycle's end, she prioritized her own upgrades with the reward points and side missions.

Only what she didn't use would trickle down to Da Qiang and the already-dead Er Niu.

No one knew Meng Yao's combat power better than Da Qiang.

Even when the Devil Team arrived, he remained confident, because he believed Meng Yao was unbeatable.

Following her, there was no real danger in the physical-level horror movies.

But now Mengyao was under mind control.

She had become Da Qiang's worst nightmare.

Da Qiang ran so hard it felt like he might shatter his molars.

Run!

Keep running!

"Dead legs! Move faster!"

Da Qiang's breathing was ragged, and his heartbeat pounded violently in his chest.

His steps faltered on the slippery bank of the underground river.

Ahead of him loomed the massive Covenant spaceship.

It blocked the entrance to the dark river like a hidden beast, lying in wait for its prey.

Da Qiang swallowed hard, sweat beading his forehead, his mind torn and conflicted.

He had only two choices: charge into the Xenomorph nest and gamble for a slim chance of survival, or turn and confront Mengyao directly—a move as futile as hitting a rock with an egg.

Under Mengyao's influence, the six thousand frozen colonists' bio-mechanical soldiers, led by David, had become a literal "cabbage-growing" army.

How many Xenomorphs had already hatched? The number likely exceeded anyone's imagination.

Movies might make it reasonable, but in the Lord God Space, there were no limits.

It was possible that several hundred Xenomorphs were already inside the ship.

And these were Xenomorphs—not fragile zombies!

"Damn it! I'm all in!"

Da Qiang surged forward.

Suddenly, a voice from behind drained his courage.

"What are you running for?"

He turned to see Mengyao fully conscious, and Da Qiang collapsed onto the ground.

He had been terrified out of his mind.

"Hehe."

Mengyao rarely smiled, but seeing Da Qiang like this, she couldn't help it.

"If you were always this scared of me…"

Her fingertip traced a circle around her bangs.

"Oh, I get it. You think I won't kill you, right?"

Da Qiang swallowed hard, saying nothing, too afraid to anger this demon.

"Take a break."

Mengyao picked at the grime under her nails.

"Even if I don't chase you, you still have to go through here."

"Huh? Wh-why?"

Da Qiang's facial muscles twitched as he spoke.

"I want you to go… and confirm the position of the Xenomorph Queen."

"The Xenomorph Queen? Why? Can it handle the Devil Team?"

Mengyao spoke slowly, pointing toward the sky.

"No, it can't. Then you go deal with the one in the sky standing on the sword."

Da Qiang said nothing.

He scrambled and rolled toward the Covenant spaceship.

At the same time, a streak of golden light split the sky.

The battle was about to erupt.
