Chapter 89 - Chapter 88 : Final Plan!!

In a cozy living room, a drunk man lay sprawled on the sofa, his body sinking deep into the soft cushions.

One hand lazily clutched a half-full bag of popcorn, while the other held a half-empty bottle of liquor.

Before him, the TV screen flickered as the pre-game hype for an upcoming soccer match played out.

He planned to take a short nap before the match began, so he could watch it fully awake and alert.

Squinting his eyes, he struggled to sit up from the sofa, set the alarm, and then flopped back down, ready for a quick rest.

Just as he was about to drift into sleep, the image on the television suddenly changed!

The lively sports channel was replaced by a scene he hadn't expected—a little girl appeared on the screen, her expression tense.

Her eyes were wide, fear flickering in her gaze, yet she summoned the courage to start singing a nursery rhyme:

"One, two, Freddy's coming for you,"

"Three, four, better lock your door,"

"Five, six, grab your crucifix,"

"Seven, eight, stay up late tonight,"

"Nine, ten, you'll never sleep again."

The melody, meant to be cheerful, sounded eerily chilling when sung by the little girl.

The drunk man jolted awake at the sudden change, frowning in irritation.

He reached out, trying to switch channels, hoping to find a normal program.

But when he flipped to the next channel, the little girl was still there, singing the same unsettling rhyme.

A creeping unease settled in his chest.

He started flipping through channels rapidly, but no matter where he turned, the girl and her song seemed to follow him everywhere.

His drunken haze began to fade, replaced by a growing, inexplicable fear.

Glancing around, the shadows in the room seemed deeper than before, the light from the TV casting his terrified expression across the walls.

The girl's song continued, the haunting melody echoing through the room, sending chills down his spine.

He had no idea that this sudden "performance" was happening in the homes of all the night owls across the city.

Nightmare on Elm Street 1 took place in the 1980s.

During this era, nightlife wasn't as developed, and most people stayed home, glued to their television sets.

The scene with Freddy's terrifying nursery rhyme quickly drew the attention of the main station, which immediately called the Dallas TV station.

But no one answered the phone.

Inside the TV station, the place was in chaos.

Cameras and equipment were gone without a trace.

On the streets, Xiao Yehui drove the car while Zhang Jie followed, holding the camera, tracking Yujin and Freddy's movements.

Zhang Jie kept thinking about what Yujin had said an hour ago about the crazy plan, still unable to fully process it.

Freddy was a demon from hell.

Its existence depended on people believing in it.

Now, the entire Central Continent team knew where Freddy was, so the only way was to divert Freddy's threat through another route.

Pull all the people in the city into it, letting the Central Continent team take the hit.

Make everyone believe in Freddy's existence.

This way, even with Freddy's endless killings, the Central Continent team could survive until the day they returned.

This was Yujin's ultimate plan.

On the streets, Yujin ran desperately.

Freddy's arms had grown over three meters long.

Fortunately, it was still dark, and Freddy didn't grow any bigger.

Even so, Freddy moved terrifyingly fast, and with arms that long, it was easy to strike Yujin.

Yujin's back was already torn and bleeding.

His entire tail feather and half of one wing feather had been ripped off.

There was no other way.

Yujin couldn't maintain high-intensity feather flight.

No matter what, he had to face Freddy's pursuit on the ground.

Freddy's brutal side was quickly captured by Zhang Jie's camera.

The footage was sent to the TV station and broadcast to thousands of households.

In an instant, the entire city was thrown into chaos.

Because they realized the scene on screen was so familiar.

They opened their windows and looked outside.

"Oh my God!"

Wasn't this happening live right next to their homes!?

"Beep beep~ Beep beep~"

Three police cars sped toward the TV building.

Officers drew their guns and charged inside.

But as soon as they stepped into the building, the lights suddenly went out as if an invisible hand had snuffed them.

The entire area plunged into darkness.

They were startled by the sudden darkness, their hearts racing, hands instinctively reaching for the guns at their waists.

Despite the rising unease, they steeled themselves and moved toward the studio, guided only by the faint light of their flashlights.

Their footsteps echoed through the empty corridor, mingling with the sound of their heavy breathing.

Suddenly, a cold gleam flashed in the darkness—metal reflecting light.

The last officer in the team, a Black female cop, felt a chill behind her, and her body froze instantly.

A dagger silently pierced her body. She hadn't even had time to cry out before a strong hand clamped over her mouth.

Her eyes widened in terror and despair.

She struggled, but her strength drained rapidly from her body.

Her vision blurred, and she could only watch as her teammates turned the corner of the hallway while an irresistible force dragged her into a nearby storage room.

In the shadows of the storage room, her body slumped weakly to the ground, and her consciousness began to fade. The world around her grew distant and unclear.

After a while, her eyes lost their light, and she sank into endless darkness, never to awaken again.

The officers' flashlights swung along the corridor, still unaware that the last member of their team had met a tragic fate.

Zhao Yingkong, standing in a corner, wiped the blood off her dagger.

She was grateful to Yujin for giving her this handy weapon.

Now, it was time for her to "start work."

Outside on the street, Yujin ran in desperation, his footsteps echoing through the empty night.

Freddy's laughter followed him like a shadow, his form flickering in and out of view, ghostly and elusive.

Suddenly, Freddy's claw stretched to an impossible length, piercing the night and striking directly into Yujin's chest!

Yujin's body jolted violently, the pain twisting his face.

Freddy's claw had pierced his chest, and blood instantly soaked his clothes.

At that moment, the black threads of Earth Grudge Creature inside him surged out like living creatures. They grew rapidly in the air, transforming into a black monster, tiger-sized, crouched on the ground!

The monster wore a blue mask on its head. It opened its mouth and unleashed Wind Release: Pressure Suppression on Freddy!

The gale raged around Freddy, throwing everything nearby into chaotic air currents.

Freddy's body wavered in the wind, but he quickly regained his balance. Such ninjutsu was nothing to him.

At that moment, Yujin gritted his teeth against the searing pain and formed a hand seal!

He spewed scorching flames from his mouth!

"Fire Release."

The massive fireball merged with the compressive force, forming a new ninjutsu.

"Combined Ninjutsu: Flame Wind Chaos!"

The flames, fueled by the wind, raged even more violently, forming a devastating firestorm that surged straight at Freddy.

A flicker of surprise passed through Freddy's eyes. It hadn't expected Yujin to have such a counterattack.

The firestorm engulfed it. The intense heat and powerful winds battered its body, causing it to writhe in pain.

Gasping for breath, Yujin watched through the assistance of the Three Tomoe. He could see Freddy injured, then slowly starting to heal again.

This creature… was incredibly difficult to kill.

At this point, Yujin had nearly exhausted every technique he could use.

His chakra was depleted.

Most of his shurikens were gone.

The tails of the hedgehog were torn, only half of the feather remained, and the fans couldn't even move.

All that was left was taijutsu.

And life itself was nearing its end.

Yujin clenched the kunai in his hand as he watched Freddy step out from the flames.

Was this it? Was he going to die?

With too much chakra spent, the blood-red in Yujin's eyes and the glow of the tomoe slowly faded.

He wanted to open his eyes wide, but the pain and exhaustion forced him to squint.

Just as Yujin was about to collapse, a loud shout rang in his ears, snapping him fully awake.

"Captain! Don't sleep! Freddy's gone!"
