Chapter 100 - Chapter 99 : Basic Observation Haki!!

"Impressive, truly impressive!"

Inside the cell, the two "Skeleton" masters tossed small stones toward Pirate Yujin.

Yujin managed to dodge about half of them.

That alone wouldn't have earned him praise—

He was doing it with his eyes closed!

Observation Haki, in a way, was quite similar to the Sharingan.

Although on the surface, Pirate Yujin had only awakened his eyes for about a month, in reality, all four versions of Yujin had been training them intensively—

Especially the Lord God Yujin.

With their memories synchronized, Pirate Yujin's body had already developed an instinctive reaction to dodge most attacks, a reflex forged through countless battles using the Sharingan.

And with his training in Observation Haki, along with the joint efforts of Marvel Yujin and Uchiha Yujin, Pirate Yujin had now touched the very edge of mastering Observation Haki.

Time was running short.

It had been over a week since all of them had mysteriously awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan.

Even without direct contact, each Yujin knew it must have taken immense danger or emotional shock for the Lord God Yujin to achieve that transformation.

After all, they were all experts at enduring pressure—ordinary troubles meant nothing to them.

Marvel Yujin had dropped everything to focus entirely on studying Observation Haki.

Under the waterfall, Uchiha Yujin was doing the same, and his progress was even faster than the other two.

Because he had a perfect sparring partner.

Standing in the roaring cascade, Uchiha Yujin kept his eyes shut, the crashing water pounding against his body.

Killer Bee slashed at him with incredible speed, his short wooden blades whistling through the air.

At first, Uchiha Yujin struggled—Killer Bee's attacks were simple but lightning fast, leaving him no time to react.

Water splashed everywhere as Uchiha Yujin's body was struck again and again, but each hit etched the movement deeper into his muscle memory.

As their training intensified, Killer Bee raised the difficulty—now wielding four short blades at once, striking from multiple angles and directions.

The wooden blades cut through the air in sweeping arcs, forming a web of attacks almost impossible to evade.

Under the force of the waterfall, Uchiha Yujin's body became unusually sharp and responsive. His ears could catch the faintest sound of the wooden blade cutting through the air.

Even with the roar of the water around him, he could distinguish which side held Killer Bee's blade and which was just the raging current!

Gradually, Uchiha Yujin began to adapt to this intense training.

It was as if his body had developed a will of its own. Every time the wooden blade was about to strike him, he would react at the last moment—sometimes by sidestepping, sometimes retreating, sometimes lowering his head—always evading Killer Bee's attacks with perfect precision.

Killer Bee's strikes grew faster and fiercer, but Yujin's dodges became just as precise and calm. His movements beneath the waterfall seemed to blend with the rushing water itself, every motion so natural and graceful.

The more Killer Bee swung his blade, the more shocked he became.

If Yujin had used his Three Tomoe Sharingan, dodging these attacks would've made sense.

But Uchiha Yujin's eyes were closed!

"Yo! This is crazy! What kind of move is that? I can't make sense of this at all!"

Uchiha Yujin suddenly opened his eyes and said confidently, "Observation Haki!"

"Sync!"

"Sync? What's that? Such a strange taijutsu! Sync, not... children's pants!"

——————

For the first time, Lord God Yujin felt that time could pass so unbearably slow.

It had only been an hour and a half, but it felt like years had gone by.

His body was covered in deep wounds, some cutting straight to the bone. Each one told the story of the brutal battle that had just taken place.

Half of his face had been torn away by Freddy's claws, revealing stark white bone and shredded muscle.

His left Sharingan dangled loosely from its socket, threatening to fall out at any moment with every movement.

Behind him, the wings that once let him create distance had been snapped. Only a pair of broken, hand-sized remnants hung weakly from his back, far too damaged for flight.

Even his strongest weapon—the tail kagune—was now in Freddy's grasp. After toying with it for a moment, Freddy grew bored and tossed it aside like trash.

"Cough!"

Yujin spat out a mouthful of blood. Struggling to stay upright, he held his left hand against his dangling eye. The pain was unbearable, yet he still glared fiercely at Freddy.

Seeing the "mosquito" that had toyed with him for more than ten days finally on the brink of death, Freddy grinned with twisted delight.

Yujin's miserable state was like a mirror of the entire Central Continent team.

They hadn't been directly attacked by Freddy, yet they constantly had to guard against him appearing inside their minds.

The dream slaves swarmed toward them like disgusting insects. These things weren't particularly strong or durable, but every time one of them died, the person who killed it would grow drowsier.

Zhang Jie had only shot three dream slaves before nearly dying in Freddy's hands inside the dream world.

If his Gene Lock hadn't suddenly "burst open," this original team member might've perished on Elm Street ahead of schedule.

Zheng Zha, in order to protect the families and four new recruits of the Central Continent team, had his arm torn off and deep bite marks engraved on his neck. There was no longer any trace of the mighty "Zheng Pangu" in him.

The entire team was now trapped on the rooftop. Only one heavy door separated them from the dream slaves outside. Once it broke, their fate was sealed — they would be thrown off the rooftop without mercy.

"Heh… hehe… hehehehe…"

A chilling laugh suddenly echoed from within the crowd. Zhao Yingkong was the first to turn, gun raised.

She feared the old woman would lose her sanity and turn on them, dragging the whole team into chaos.

But the old woman didn't attack anyone else — she went straight for Ruan Wei, who was crouching among the family members.

Aunt never forgot a grudge.

This was her revenge — for those two bullets Ruan Wei had fired at her back during Alien: Covenant.

Now, standing on the edge of death, the old woman no longer hesitated. She lunged forward and wrapped her hands around Ruan Wei's throat!

The two of them fell into a vicious struggle!

Zhang Jie, Nova, and Yehui — the three "veterans" — simply watched as their teammates fought each other.

None of them made a move to stop it. They all knew the truth. No matter what happened, they were going to die soon.

All over the city, people were rushing toward their building. Every one of them had already become a soul claimed by Freddy's claws.

Countless dream slaves surrounded the skyscraper, sealing off every exit.

There were so many of them that they had even begun building a human ladder up the side of the rooftop.

Good news — there were bodies below to cushion the fall, so they didn't die from the drop.

Bad news — the moment they landed, a crowd of "people" surrounded them. Even if those things didn't attack, the sheer pressure and suffocation could kill anyone.

Because Zheng Zha had lost an arm, he didn't have the strength to push the door open, so Zhao Yingkong carefully set him aside.

Standing at the edge of the rooftop, Zheng Zha looked toward the giant Freddy.

When he saw Yujin actually close his eyes and let Freddy's attack hit him head-on, Zheng Zha gave a bitter smile.

"Even you have given up fighting back?"

"No… no, that's not it."

"How… how did he do that!?"
