Abomination leapt down from the armed helicopter, dropping like a massive green cannonball toward the Destroyer.
In Asgard, Loki watched the scene unfold.
A cold, disdainful smile curled at the corner of his lips.
He controlled the Destroyer, making it raise its head, preparing to take Abomination's attack head-on.
He wanted to show everyone the Destroyer's invincible might.
He wanted to crush their spirits completely.
Abomination's huge and powerful body slammed into the Destroyer with tremendous force, smashing the ground into a deep crater upon impact.
Dust and shattered stone exploded in all directions.
Abomination roared, swinging his thick, powerful fists.
He hammered down on the Destroyer's head like a relentless storm.
Every punch landed with a heavy, echoing thud, as if the very air was trembling beneath the impact.
Seeing Abomination's ferocious assault, the onlookers felt a spark of hope ignite in their hearts.
They thought they had finally found someone strong enough to challenge the Destroyer.
Relief washed over their faces, joy flickering in their eyes.
But Thor and Yujin both knew the truth.
Attacks of this level could never deliver a fatal blow to the Destroyer.
Tony Stark noticed the look on Yujin's face.
He quickly flipped open a panel on the arm of the Mark armor.
A shining piece of metallic casing emerged.
Tony removed it and handed it to Yujin.
"This is what you asked for."
"So fast?" Yujin asked.
Tony shrugged. "Of course. You told me Natasha's organization had a replacement energy source for my father's arc reactor. That saved me a huge problem. After dealing with the reactor and the palladium issue, I immediately started working on this. The wings will take longer—they're not done yet."
The metallic casing gleamed with a deep, cold luster.
Its lines were smooth and refined, covered with intricate, precise patterns that gave off an air of mystery.
Its material was unimaginably hard, reflecting dazzling light under the sun.
Captain America's shield was made from the same metal.
Its hardness was second only to Adamantium.
But in terms of defense, nothing surpassed it—because it could absorb kinetic energy.
With this, Yujin's strongest single-target technique—the Tail Kagune Piercing Strike—would receive a massive, near-mythic boost.
Yujin didn't hesitate.
He raised his tail kagune and slid the metal casing onto it.
In that instant, the tail kagune's already fearsome appearance became even more terrifying.
The scorpion-like hooked tail was now wrapped in golden armor, glowing with a brilliant light.
The gold fused with the kagune's natural color, forming a strange and striking visual contrast.
The armor fit tightly and perfectly, every curve tailor-made for him.
Captain America could fight Thanos evenly with just a shield.
Yujin refused to believe that with a vibranium-armored tail kagune—plus a budget version of the Avengers—they couldn't defeat a Destroyer weakened tens of thousands of times.
At that moment, the Destroyer suddenly swung its fist.
The massive metal knuckles carried a tidal, mountain-crushing force as they smashed brutally into Abomination's body.
Although Abomination's physique was incredibly strong, the impact of that overwhelming power sent him flying like a cannonball fired from its chamber.
He traced a long arc through the air before crashing heavily onto the ground not far away.
After throwing that punch, the Destroyer still looked surprisingly stable.
Its enormous body stood firmly in place, radiating a suffocating pressure, as if what it had just done was nothing more than a trivial gesture.
After all, while Abomination's base strength slightly surpassed the Hulk's, he lacked any means to further increase his power.
If he couldn't overpower the Destroyer at the very beginning, there would be almost no chance for him later.
Seeing the brief opening created when the Destroyer knocked Abomination away, Yujin's eyes flashed with determination.
He stomped off the ground and used "Shave" to appear right in front of the Destroyer's armor!
In the instant he closed in, he raised his Kagune tail — its surface coated in vibranium — and targeted a tiny gap in the Destroyer's armor.
With all the strength in his body, he stabbed down fiercely!
The tail pierced the gap precisely.
Without hesitation, Yujin gripped the tail with both hands and twisted it hard!
A crisp "crack!" suddenly rang out — and the unexpected happened.
Under the powerful force of his Kagune, the Destroyer's supposedly indestructible armor was pried open, revealing a palm-sized opening.
Inside the gap was a yellow, circuit-like biological surface.
Strange lights flickered across it as mysterious energy flowed beneath the skin.
Seeing this, Thor instantly shouted excitedly, "Attack that yellow part! Right there!"
Even before he finished, Iron Man Tony Stark adjusted his aim.
The repulsor in his palm flared to life again, firing several blazing beams straight toward the exposed yellow core.
Hawkeye also nocked a special arrow and let it fly, hitting the gap perfectly.
Enraged, the Destroyer tore the arrow out and was just about to retaliate when the recently blown-away Abomination roared and charged back in.
Stretching out his thick arms, he tackled the Destroyer and held it tightly in a crushing embrace.
Seizing the opportunity, Yujin flashed forward again.
His Kagune tail carried an unstoppable momentum as it pierced fiercely into the yellow weak point that the others had attacked repeatedly.
In that instant, the Destroyer's body trembled violently!
A blinding wave of light burst outward from the yellow fissure.
An enormous surge of energy exploded like a tidal wave, sweeping outward in all directions.
Everyone was instantly blown back, sent tumbling through the air.
When the blinding glow finally faded, they struggled to their feet and looked toward the Destroyer.
The light in the Destroyer's eyes dimmed slowly.
Its massive body collapsed like a statue losing its support, slamming onto the ground and kicking up dust.
It no longer moved — as if every trace of life within had been extinguished.
Iron Man lifted his mask, and Yujin dropped onto the ground with a heavy exhale.
This was the most exhausting battle they had ever fought.
"Alien tech is insane, isn't it?" Yujin muttered toward Iron Man, jerking his chin at the fallen Destroyer.
"If you made a suit with that material… I don't even dare imagine it!"
Just when everyone believed the crisis had finally passed, a collective breath of relief escaped the battlefield.
But at that very moment, the Destroyer—lying motionless and assumed to be completely inert—suddenly began to tremble violently.
Its armored frame shuddered.
Then, slowly, it lifted its metallic head.
In its once dim and lifeless eyes, an eerie yellow glow flickered back to life.
A heartbeat later, a bolt of yellow light—sharp and swift like lightning—burst from its gaze and shot straight toward the unsuspecting Tony Stark.
Thor was standing right beside Tony.
A fierce determination flashed in Thor's eyes.
Without thinking, without hesitation, he acted purely on instinct.
He lunged toward Tony, spreading his arms wide, and used his own body to block the fatal beam.
The laser struck him instantly.
The overwhelming energy vaporized half of his body in an explosion of ash.
The rest of his body crashed heavily onto the ground, pain twisting across his features as his fading life force ebbed away.
Tony Stark stared in shock and horror.
Thor had taken the blow for him—without a second thought.
His voice trembled as he screamed Thor's name, but the God of Thunder had already fallen unconscious, his life hanging by a single thread.
