After the exams, John didn't return to the orphanage instead he sneaked out of the school and entered a secluded place a little far from the orphanage. An abandoned yard with few buildings. There is moss and bushes everywhere here. But for now this is the safest place for him.
As John chose to bind the mana affinity trait, he felt am energy entering his body. This is mana or magic whatever it's called. As the energy entered his body, he felt a warm current in him. Then immediately with a boom a shockwave is sent from his body. Everything around him is smashed and knocked away a few meters. He became a wizard.

John looked around at the destruction and walked away from there. But as he walked few meters he felt fatigued. His body ached and he felt his vision blurring. He supported himself with the walls and nearby poles before staggering to the orphanage. When he arrived there the matron is already waiting for him with a stern look. But looking at his weak appearance she is startled.
She quickly took him to school nurse nearby. After examination, the school nurse frowned and said," it might he has not received enough nutrition. Give him some more food today along with some fruits. He will recover after that ", the matron nodded. John also woke up after a few minutes.
The next few days passed by like a breeze. He tried to get into contact with Hermione or Harry Potter. But he can't leave the orphanage without a purpose. The matron didn't allow him outside, she feared he might pass out on the road and get hit by a car or end up in a worse situation than that.
so he can only use it to download skills from those in orphanage. Although it didn't take long before a visitor appeared for John. An owl with a letter in it's beak. It's pecking his window continuously, John grabbed the letter that has the shield symbol with four different animals in it and big H letter. Behind it is the address of this room in orphanage.
