Chapter 1 - The Destiny of a Man

CHAPTER : 1

Flames, Stars, and War A man stands alone.Clad in a skin-tight black suit, he grips a sleek black sword in his right hand. Around him, flames roar like wild beasts, and collapsing buildings crumble into ash and dust. Above, the sky swarms with hundreds of alien spaceships, streaking past like deadly comets, casting shadows over the burning earth.

Present Day

A sleek spacecraft glides silently through the void, orbiting near the red sands of Planet Mars. Inside the cockpit, a young man—no older than twenty-three—sits at the helm. His name is Himjyoti, a black-haired pilot with sharp eyes and a heavy heart.

Floating beside him is a spherical AI companion, its metallic shell glowing faintly with a soft blue hue.

"Hey! If you keep going off-script and ignoring protocol, you're going to get suspended again—for another six months!"

— AI Orical, voice laced with irritation.

Himjyoti scoffed, barely glancing at the AI.

"Doesn't matter. Honestly, I'm thinking of leaving the army. I only joined because of my family's reputation. Generations of soldiers... blah blah... legacy. I never had a choice."

— Himjyoti, grimacing.

Suddenly, alarms blared. Red lights flashed across the dashboard.

BOOM!

An explosion rocked the nearby space station. Outside, a fleet of alien ships descended like a swarm of locusts, unleashing chaos upon the Human Alliance's mothership.

The war had begun.

Laser beams and plasma fire lit up the void. Ships from both sides exploded in waves of fire and debris. Chaos. Screams. Silence. Then, more chaos.

Himjyoti's eyes widened. Without hesitation, he spun his ship around, fingers dancing across the controls.

Orical: "You're prohibited from engaging in combat! This is a direct violation of rulesl!"

Himjyoti: "My people are dying, and you're still babbling about rules?" — he growled, rage flaring in his eyes.

He launched a full-scale counterattack. Ship after ship burst under his fire—until...

Click.

The guns powered down.

"Damn it. Out of energy already?"

— Himjyoti

Oracle: "Warning: Your ship lacks the required power. I suggest immediate retreat."

Himjyoti: "I don't need a ship to fight them. I alone am sufficient."

Oracle: "Retreat advised. You are aware those ships are capable of destroying entire planets. Outside the ship, death is inevitable. Additionally, I've just received a report—reinforcements are approaching."

Despite the AI's warnings, Himjyoti refused to retreat. His eyes blazed with quiet determination, hands clenched at his sides.

But the Oracle, bound by its programming to protect him, took control of the ship.

The engines roared.

The ship turned.

And against his will, Himjyoti was pulled away from the battlefield he was ready to face alone.

"Preparing for emergency warp jump through wormhole."

— Orical

Just as the ship began its warp sequence, a hidden alien vessel emerged from behind. It opened fire. The hull trembled. Sparks flew. Himjyoti's ship took a direct hit.

The ship, badly damaged, lurched into the wormhole—spiraling into unknown, dimensional space. Arcs of blue lightning danced along the exterior as the vessel spun uncontrollably.

Inside, Himjyoti collapsed, unconscious from the gravitational pressure and chaos of dimensional travel.

Hours Later...

With a violent crash, the ship slammed into a dense forest on an unknown planet. Smoke rose from its broken frame. Birds scattered. Silence returned to the land.

Inside, Himjyoti lay motionless.

But this was only the beginning...
