Xavier eyes snapped wide open in shock ,his gaze hardened into a glare and his eyes flashed with a deadly intensity.
"What did you say?" He asked slowly,his tone etched with anger as he walked closer towards her.
"I wish you," she repeated through clenched teeth, her gaze never leaving his. "And your entire household had been killed years ago."
A heavy slap landed on her cheek, sending her stumbling off her wheelchair. A tooth flew out, blood staining her dress.
She gasped, clutching her burning cheek.
Xavier stormed toward her, his eyes blazing with fury. He grabbed her neck tightly, lifting her slightly off the ground as he growled,
"This is the last time you'll ever speak about me or my past."
Nyla choked, struggling to breathe as she clawed at his hand, but it was no use.
"Just because I told you my truth doesn't give you the right to spit it back at me," he sneered. "Next time… you won't live to regret it.
He released her with a shove, and she collapsed, gasping for air.
"You won't live to see how your daughter turns out," he added coldly, his voice like ice.
He walked out,his steps heavy as he marched off.
Nyla coughed, trembling as she touched her bruised neck, struggling to steady her breath.
Tears filled her eyes—but not from pain. From rage.
"This isn't over," she whispered, struggling to sit back on the wheelchair.

Same Day
Xavier mansion.
Xavier stood by the window of his room,a wine bottle in his hand, drinking to the point of stupor.
Nyla words had cut deep, unleashing a flood of memories that had long been buried.
He gritted his teeth, clenched his fists ,them slammed it on the window rails, blood erupting.
"Argh!" He scowled."I'm going to kill you with my bare hands Nyla. I promise you this..."
Kiara walked into the room. Quickly realizing his state,she gulped down in fear and made to rush out,but unluckily he had seen her and stopped her.
"Come here!" He ordered in a drunken state.
Kiara gulped down in fear. If only she had known his state she wouldn't have stepped into this room.
" Don't let me repeat myself twice Kiara." He dropped the bottle of wine and it shattered on the ground.
Her heart seized. She quickened her steps till she got closer to him.
Despite the three bottles of wine he had drank he was still a bit conscious of his real self.
He grabbed her waist, drawing her closer to him and whispered softly in her ears."Whatever am I going to do to you Kiara.
She pleaded in moans, shaking in fear.
" You keep breaking all my rules... Not just you,but your mum. She keeps passing her limits.
Tears poured down her eyes as she continued moaning her pleas.
" Well..." He bite her earlobe softly, sniffing her fragrance, from her neck to her ear.
Then he whispered." She's your mother..." He released her, raising her head to face him.
"How will you feel if you hear I killed your mother?"
She shaked her head, crying more.
"Oh I forgot... You can't speak." He smirked ."I'll answer for you... You wouldn't be happy and might commit suicide...I still want you alive so I'm not going to kill her."
Her face brightened lightly.
"But...you should remember and remind your mad mother that I don't give a damn sometimes. I can kidnapp another victim and then end you both in a second if you both misbehave."
She gulped down her saliva.
"You do want to live a free peaceful life with your mom right?"
She nodded brightly.
"I know you do. Then behave. Now get out!"
She turned, quickly rushing out of the room,she bumped into Viper who was heading towards Xavier room. He stared at her emotionless, but she didn't stay a second and hurried off.
Venom knocked twice on the door.
"Who the hell has a death wish!" Xavier scowled.
"It's Venom boss. You sent for me."
"Come in."
"You're late." Xavier turned to look at Venom plainly.
"I'm sorry boss." He bowed his head low.
"You know why I called you here?"
" No boss."
"Siren has failed and disappointed me and it's my delight he's dead... " His tone was filled with anger and disappointment."I love my men smart, bold and a quick striker,no emotions displayed... Which is why I chose you for this role and I know you won't disappoint me. From today onward you'll be Dark personal guardian till I finally cut him out completely... I give you the right to end any bloody idiot who messes around."
"Yes boss. I promise to keep him safe."
" Whether you promise or not any mistakes from you will depend on the number of your fingers you lose. Now leave. I'll send you his location."
" Yes boss." He bowed and left.

Sentara medical center.
Ariana was about to sit up properly on the hospital bed after getting a medical checkup done by one of the nurse when Charlotte barged into the room,her expression filled with concern."Ariana!" She hurried towards her, touching her all over, feeling her temperature and examining her to see any injuries.
Ariana called her severally,but she wouldn't stop. Then she shouted." Charlotte!"
She stopped and looked at her." Who dared to harm you." Pain filled her eyes.
"I understand you're annoyed,but you don't need to... It's just a little burns and that's all."
"A little burn." She stared at her,her brows slightly furrowed." Girl... Look at you... your face is all bruised and your neck." She chuckled softly." You call this little. Just tell me who the hell touched you!" "I swear I'll kill that bastard." She spoke between clenched teeth.
Ariana rolled her eyes. She has always been trying to avoid this moment,but it's too late."C'mon Charlotte... You don't need to worry about me. Actually he's handled it for you."
Charlotte calmed a little, raising her brows at her." He?"
" Oh yeah. he...he saved me. It's a pity I didn't get to know his name."
Ariana caught Charlotte staring at her awkwardly." What." She asked confused.
" A guy saved you." She smiled sheepishly.

" Start listing."

" You what." She laughed heartily." Girl. Think about this... In a cafeteria filled with guys and girls this strange guy came out in the shadows and defended you isn't that love?"
Ariana choked, coughing severally till Charlotte quickly gave her water to drink and she calmed.
" Don't you think..."
" Just go away Charlotte I'm feeling head aches. I need to sleep." She slid down the cover and turned her head away from her, pretending to sleep.
Charlotte chuckled." I know what this means. You're so embarrassed to admit you have fallen in love with him." She stood.
Ariana face twisted in embarrassment and she cursed inwardly.
" Don't worry Ariana. You sleep tight while I get the guy to come here okay?"
Ariana turned quickly." Don't you..."
But she was gone already.
" Damn her." She rolled her eyes, turning her back towards the door and made to sleep when she heard a familiar voice.
A voice she had never heard for about eleven years now.
A voice she thought has vanished completely.
