Chapter 20 - Arguments With a Witch

Jin gets out of bed earlier in the morning.

Moritan is holding a cup of coffee.

"Alright, Kid! This is where the fun starts for you."

Moritan lifts a hand in the air, a light blue aura forming around his hand.

"Alright, I take it you already met Ms. Aya, correct?" Moritan says in a soft and generous tone.

"Yeah, I met the woman."

Moritan Smirks.

"Say hi to her for me."

A flash of light slams into Jin. Jin flies back, slamming into a wall.

His surroundings are pitch black, expanding infinitely once again.

Here again?

Jin stands up, turning his head to see a frowning Aya.

"Oh, look, it's the witch again."

"Now, why do you call me a witch?"

"You refused to tell me the truth. You had me run into a battle headfirst without even knowing the truth."

Aya's lip curls in anger, visibly boiling over her.

"You little brat! You ended up with the worst decision!"

"I'm not sure you understand! I was chained and set to die!"

"You're still chained, chained to a false sense of security and peace! That being forgiveness."

"Chained? You offered me a blade and death. I chose salvation. I chose peace!"

Aya smirks. Pointing a finger at him.

"Don't you get it? The hate built in you is a curse placed by the Grand Dragon! Every True Dragon is cursed with it."

"Maybe the Grand Dragon should've cursed himself first; he's the most childish of all."

"Don't you dare act like you didn't learn to control it because you lost everything!"

"Don't you dare act like you know peace and salvation!"

"You dare snap at me, boy?"

"I do. I'm not afraid to die. I will not let low-life scum dictate my peace."

Aya's mouth drops slightly.

"You should know. The Grand Dragon is the king of the living dragons. And I mean legit Dragons, not the Dragon Spirits."

"Well, looks like I have to study some history."

Aya glares at him.

"I can tell you the history of the Grand Dragon."

"I'll pass. I'd rather not listen to you."

Aya doesn't say anything. She just stands there, watching him.

"I'm leaving Aya. I'm not going to return to your hell hole either."

"You'll come crawling back, boy. All of you do. Once the curse consumes you, too."

The entire world around Jin swirls and opens underneath him as he falls into the web of worlds.
