"Aiya?"
Silver Wolf tilted her head sideways, only to see an enormous armored foot—she couldn't even see the full lower leg.
If that thing steps on me… I'd die, right?
I'd definitely die!
With a data transmission, she immediately teleported to Firefly and Black Swan's side. Watching from afar was definitely safer.
Silver Wolf patted her chest and let out a long breath.
Only now did she have the nerve to properly observe her own ally.
Three hundred meters tall, completely encased in gold-and-silver armor.
Looking up from below, every part radiated extreme power and authority. The belt at its waist flowed with multiple attributes in perfect balance, its sheer energy making one's scalp tingle.
The shield-shaped chest armor was as heavy as a mountain, solid and unbreakable.
And finally, the face—sharp-edged metal plating paired with a V-shaped black visor, carrying the chilling majesty of an ancient Xianzhou dragon.
It lacked the overt technological flair of the opposing machine god, but its naturally unified, heaven-forged presence inspired even greater awe.
"He's so beautiful!"
Silver Wolf's heart skipped a beat as she stared in a daze.
She wanted it. She really, really wanted it!
When was the Interastral Peace Corporation going to replicate something like this? She swore she'd hack it cleanly if they did!
"Indeed."
Firefly and Black Swan nodded in unison, equally acknowledging that emperor-like beauty.
Not only beautiful—the power was immense as well.
In its armored state, the energy was fully restrained, making it hard for them to estimate. But the energy that had formed the armor earlier was something they had witnessed firsthand.
That radiance was equivalent to an actual star!
...
At the same time.
Sparkle stared at the armor standing level with her and couldn't help swallowing.
What do I do… I can already see the reaper looming before me.
Her voice turned clear and pitiful as she asked, "Can we not fight? I know I was wrong~"
"What do you think?"
Sol sneered softly as he guided the armor forward towards Apollo.
Since things had come this far, at the very least, he had to throw one punch.
Why only one punch? Because one punch was enough.
"I'll fight you to the end!"
Sparkle steeled herself and aimed the star-slaying greatsword in her hands at the armor.
Energy gathered in the cannon embedded at the sword's center, blazing with intense red light.
A terrifying energy beam shot forth at extreme speed, powerful enough to annihilate a starship.
Sol neither dodged nor evaded, walking straight into it.
The beam struck the chest armor, bursting into a shower of sparks.
The sparks scattered everywhere—
and the armor remained completely unharmed.
Like setting off a firecracker.
"Such insane defense!"
Sparkle shut down internally.
She couldn't even scratch him when he just stood there and let her hit him.
Then Sol threw a punch straight into Apollo's chest, piercing through it entirely and blasting open a massive hole.
"Ugh—!"
Apollo instantly dispersed into a cloud of green smoke.
Bang! Sparkle fell flat onto the ground, landing painfully on her backside. Boring—she was done playing!
Seeing this, Sol also dismissed the armor, smiling brightly as he said, "So, Sparkle, how was that?"
Bang!
A puff of white smoke exploded.
Sparkle emerged holding a small white flag, shuffling over pitifully with teary eyes. "I surrender, okay? Please be gentler later…"
She had tried every method—none of them worked. She was completely outmatched.
That final clash had been such an overwhelming defeat it wasn't even funny.
If she really held out to the end, it would definitely end very badly.
So, it was better to surrender early—maybe it'd drop from 18+ to PG-13?
At that moment, seeing things were safe, Silver Wolf flashed back to Sol's side.
She was far too curious about that terrifyingly powerful armor.
But for now, it was better to focus on that way-too-quirky little Sparkle!
"Well, well, isn't this Lady Sparkle? Why are you holding a white flag now!"
"You mocked my gaming skills earlier—now you're the prisoner instead!"
Silver Wolf circled Sparkle, pointing and poking nonstop.
Thinking about how Sparkle had just humiliated her over her gaming skills, then looking at this pitiful state now—it felt incredibly satisfying.
"Sorry… I shouldn't have told the truth earlier… sob sob."
Sparkle said with a wronged expression.
"You—!"
Silver Wolf's smile froze, her chest nearly bursting from anger.
Sparkle ignored Silver Wolf and instead looked at Sol, pitifully saying, "Lord Sol, I know I was wrong. Please remove the barrier—I won't dare do it again."
She had no intention of fighting him head-on anymore. Their power levels weren't even in the same universe.
"I still prefer you when you're being mischievous."
Sol patted Sparkle's head and smiled.
"Then I'll only be mischievous for you alone~"
Sparkle's eyes shimmered, her ruby-red pupils brimming with tender affection. "To be honest, I fell in love with you at first sight! Hurry and lift the barrier—keeping it up too long isn't good for Penacony. Let's go play in other dreams together, I'll give you little Sparkles!"
"Such a good Sparkle—but wait a moment."
Sol Mercer gently wiped away her fake tears, smiling.
"Wait?"
Sparkle looked at him in confusion.
Wait for what? Kill or spare—it was all in his hands already!
She'd acted this cute—what more did he want?!
"Wait for the surprise."
Sol pinched Sparkle's cheek, keeping things mysterious.
Sparkle put on a shy, adorable smile. This was the price of defeat—if she didn't lower Sol's guard now, she'd really end up paying dearly.
"Hey, you're not really going to let her go, are you? We worked so hard to catch her."
Silver Wolf nudged Sol's arm and asked tentatively. "I feel like I'm way less troublesome than her, don't you think? If you're letting her go, how about releasing my freedom too?"
"Relax. Neither of you is getting away."
Sol said with a look of deep tenderness, soothing them.
"..."
Sparkle and Silver Wolf stared at his expression, both speechless.
If you're not letting us go, what's with that tender look?!
At that moment, Sol made a new move.
He reached out and grabbed Sparkle by the shoulder, deeply engraving her aura into his memory.
The Sparkle in the dream had already become stale—
but the real body in reality still needed to be captured.
