Early in the morning, just as Han Yue stepped out of her room, she unexpectedly came across Long Yi walking down the hallway.
Han Yue blinked, then smiled brightly. "Good morning~ Will you go to the beach with me today?"
Long Yi returned her greeting with a gentle nod. "Mn. I'll accompany you."
Just as she turned toward the stairs, Long Yi casually added, "Come to my room first."
Han Yue paused mid-step. "Huh? Y-Your room? This early?" Her eyes darted sideways as her cheeks heated slightly. What's this about... so suddenly?
Once inside, Long Yi quietly closed the door behind them. Han Yue stood awkwardly near the entryway, wondering if she had misunderstood something. But then—
Whoosh—
Long Yi opened his Dragon Space, and with a casual motion, released a mountain of antiques and jade artifacts across the floor.
Han Yue: "...Oh."
Realizing she had overreacted, she coughed lightly and rubbed her nose. "Hehe... I seriously read too many dramatic webnovels."
Without another word, she activated her own Space Jade Amulet and absorbed the items one by one, clearing the floor in seconds.
As they stepped out of the room together, Long Yi followed behind her in silence — but the faint smile at the corner of his lips lingered.
Downstairs at breakfast, the household was already lively. Grandpa Long sipped tea, Colonel Long scrolled through his tablet, and little Zhihan was busy stacking fruit peels into a tower on his plate.
Han Yue took her seat and casually announced, "I'm going to the beach today — and this time, I'll finally complete my mission!"
Zhihan raised his head immediately. "I want to go too! I'll catch a big fish today, I promise!"
Long Yi, seated next to her, nodded. "I'll come along." He sent a message to Secretary Wen to prepare diving equipment, life vests, and support staff.
Grandpa Long chuckled. "Young people should go and enjoy the sea. I'll go visit an old friend nearby today."
Colonel Long looked up. "I'm tied up with internal matters. Zhihan, be obedient. Listen to your uncle and Yueyue, understand?"
"Yes, Dad"
After breakfast, Han Yue's assistants drove her and the others toward the warehouses. There, the massive remaining shipments from her bulk purchases had been organized and sorted. Entire pallets of café equipment, takeout supplies, bulk food stocks, hardware tools, and miscellaneous daily goods waited in rows.
She didn't linger.
Han Yue calmly activated her Space and absorbed the entire haul into her jade amulet.
By mid-morning, they arrived at the pier.
The same boat from yesterday was waiting, upgraded with gear and crates of equipment. Diving instructors, carefully screened and trusted by Long Yi's team, were already onboard.
The group set out onto the open water.
They cruised until they reached a quiet stretch of sea — calm waves, no visible boats, and open visibility in all directions.
Han Yue slipped into her diving suit, and with instruction from the professionals, practiced basic underwater breathing and motion. Long Yi watched from the side, arms crossed, giving quiet pointers as needed.
After twenty minutes of training, she gave a thumbs up. "I'm ready."
"Let's go," Long Yi said, and they dove together.
🌊 Sea Collection Begins
Once underwater, Han Yue activated her Space Amulet's pull.
Immediately, the surrounding water trembled with a faint ripple — as seawater, nutrients, and marine life began to vanish into her personal dimension.
Small fish flitted into the pull:
Sardines, anchovies, tilapia, mackerel, red snapper
Groupers, sea bass, trout, cod, flatfish
Colorful reef fish like clownfish, wrasses, parrotfish
Octopus, squid, sea cucumbers, crabs, shrimp
Even scattered lobsters, shellfish, and sea urchins
The current grew stronger with each minute. After about 20 minutes, Han Yue signaled to resurface. Long Yi followed.
Onboard, she sat on the edge of the deck, legs dangling over the sea. "Phew... It's a lot more tiring than it looks."
Little Zhihan rushed over holding a tiny fishing rod. "I caught one! It's small but strong!"
He opened his hand — a tiny, wriggling sardine.
Han Yue burst into laughter. "You did it! I'm taking a photo. We'll show Colonel Long later."
🐬 Second Dive: Deep Harvest
After resting for a while and cruising to a new area, they dove again.
This time, Han Yue dove deeper — letting her space sweep the seabed. It didn't just absorb water, but everything in it.
She passed by a school of tuna, watched manta rays glide by, and even glimpsed a pod of dolphins playing in the distance. Colorful jellyfish drifted through the currents, and a few sea turtles swam past her lazily.
She followed the reef shelf and collected corals, seaweed, anemones, shellfish, and even glittering sand from the ocean floor.
By the time she resurfaced, her internal sea was massive — a growing marine ecosystem that now stretched so wide she couldn't see the end of it.
🌅 Evening Collection & Village Goods
On the way back, just before sunset, her team made a final stop — the warehouse.
Inside were fresh local goods prepared just for her:
Bottled fruit wine, dried mountain fruits, nuts, roots, and herbs
Freshly gathered wild vegetables
The first batches of meat from the slaughterhouse
Boxes from hardware and garment wholesalers, arriving in batches
Han Yue absorbed it all into her space, organizing it by category. By the time she checked the hour — it was already 7 PM.
Her assistants were exhausted.
The others had long gone home, but not her.
Han Yue stood alone by the last crate, brushing dust from her sleeves and sighing.
"My job is so hard..."
But the glint in her eye said otherwise.
She was ready — one dive at a time.
