Part 1
After resting and making the necessary preparations, Han Yue changed into a sleek, tight black outfit like the rest of the team. Around midnight, they quietly set off in a black car toward their destination—City H's ultra-rich private district. Their target: Second Uncle Long's estate.
The place was massive and luxurious, making Han Yue silently whistle in awe. With Secretary Wen and Shadow 2 taking the lead, they successfully snuck past the patrols and scaled the perimeter walls undetected. Once inside, the team split up.
Shadow 2 guided Han Yue directly to the Jade Hall and Vault, a private exhibition space showcasing priceless jades, along with a vault containing only the highest-grade raw stones. Her eyes sparkled as she entered the jade vault, and without hesitation, she waved her hand—sweeping everything into her space.
Next, they slipped into Second Uncle Long's master bedroom. In the center stood an extravagant, gold-inlaid Emperor's Throne—grand, ornate, and obnoxiously opulent. "Wow… must've taken ten men to move this," Han Yue thought, impressed by both the arrogance and the logistics.
With a silent grin, she stored the throne into her space. Then, noticing Second Uncle Long snoring loudly in bed, Han Yue couldn't resist a bit of mischief. She pulled out a permanent marker and carefully drew four little turtles on his sleeping face. Snap! She took a photo and cheekily sent it to Grandpa Long.
Meanwhile, Long Yi and Secretary Wen were in the storage warehouse and basement, clearing out supplies and transporting ten luxury vehicles—including four sports cars—into the space.
Eventually, everyone regrouped in the estate's living room. Han Yue and Shadow 2 were already there waiting. When Long Yi arrived, he found Han Yue casually munching on snacks from the fridge, completely at ease in the scene of their high-stakes heist.
He coughed lightly and said, "Let's go."
With that, they slipped away into the night, returning to their hotel as if nothing had happened. They slept soundly, leaving behind only a swirling storm of chaos.
The next morning, headlines and sirens filled City H's wealthy district. Police had cordoned off the area—an emergency investigation was underway. After all, one of the city's wealthiest families had been robbed blind overnight. Billions worth of jade and the Emperor's Throne had vanished into thin air.
As Second Uncle Long's household spiraled into panic, Han Yue and her team were enjoying a peaceful breakfast. Soon after, they set off once again—this time toward City E, the final stop on their road trip, where one last palace-themed mansion awaited Han Yue's inspection.
Part 2: Road to City E – Palace Dreams and Chaotic Screensavers
While on the road to City E, Han Yue took out her phone and blinked.
"Oh wow, Grandpa texted me at dawn! I'm only reading it now—"
'Good job, little Yue. I'll send you 200 million yuan this afternoon. Also, I made that photo my screensaver, hehe.'
Han Yue giggled to herself, picturing Grandpa proudly using a photo of 2nd Uncle with turtle doodles on his face. "as a screensaver…"
Meanwhile, Long Yi's phone buzzed too. It was a message from Grandpa Long:
'Hmph! My future daughter-in-law is so thoughtful! What about you?! You didn't even make an effort!'
Long Yi squinted at his screen, then glanced over at Han Yue.
"What does Grandpa mean by 'I didn't put in effort unlike you'?"
Han Yue paused, then slapped her forehead. "Oh! I forgot to send you my masterpiece, hehe~"
She tapped a few times on her phone and forwarded the infamous turtle photo to both Long Yi and Secretary Wen.
Secretary Wen, who had been eavesdropping the whole time, casually opened the image on his smartwatch.
"Pfft—your drawing has improved," he commented with a totally serious face, sipping tea like a wine critic.
Long Yi smiled slightly, then forwarded the photo to Colonel Long.
Instantly, he received a reply:
'Father has been showing it off to the entire staff—and to me—all throughout breakfast.'
Long Yi twitched at the thought. Grandpa Long was too much sometimes.
—
After driving for two hours, they finally arrived at the hidden estate in City E.
The property was tucked into a sloped valley, surrounded by three hills. Guard railings lined the upper ridges, making it impossible for intruders to approach unseen. It was heavily protected, a hidden fortress dressed like a historical palace.
Han Yue's eyes lit up the moment she saw the estate.
"Wooooow! It's like a water garden dream!" she gasped.
There was a pagoda in the middle of a pond, smooth stone paths leading through koi-filled streams, and a curved bridge straight out of an ancient drama.
"It's so beautifulllllll!! >W< I love it!"
Long Yi saw her joy and silently nodded in approval. A satisfied Yueyue was always a mission success.
When they reached the guard house, armed guards dressed in black raised their weapons and asked the vehicle to halt. Shadow 2 calmly rolled down the window and flashed his badge. Upon seeing it, the guards bowed and opened the gates respectfully.
As the car rolled in, Han Yue was still sparkling with excitement. The butler came out to greet them and escorted them inside. Lunch had already been prepared.
After a hearty meal, everyone settled down to rest. Han Yue explored the palace grounds, her hands full with her baby Snowball. She took dozens of photos of the fluffy white baby posing dramatically on the stone steps.
"Too cute!!! My baby's so photogenic no matter what!!"
—
Meanwhile, Long Yi was in a private room, having a video call with Shadow 3.
"How are the kids?" he asked.
Shadow 3 saluted. "The children we rescued from the traffickers are doing well, Young Master. I've enrolled them into a structured education plan—academic learning, boy scout survival training, workout routines, and superpower conditioning for those who qualify."
He added, "Young Master Zhihan and Little Rose are following the same routine, minus the superpower drills. I've also scheduled child therapy sessions to help them process their trauma and betrayal. Everyone is adjusting well and working hard."
He paused, then continued, "The remaining maids and guards from the other hidden mansions have already reported back to base yesterday. We're fully staffed and secure."
Long Yi nodded. "Good. Continue your arrangements. Also, increase training requirements for all maids, guards, and butlers. Make it a quota. No exceptions."
"And train that dog Han Yue left at the Long Mansion."
Shadow 3 saluted again. "Yes, Young Master"
The call ended.
—
Later that evening, Long Yi walked out onto the balcony, looking over the glowing water garden lit by soft lanterns. There, across the bridge, he saw Han Yue walking back toward the house, her figure framed by the moonlight.
Han Yue spotted him from below and grinned mischievously.
Then—wink! She blew him a kiss.
Long Yi raised a brow, watching with a faint smirk.
When she came inside and flopped onto the couch, she suddenly yelped—because Long Yi grabbed her wrist and pulled her close.
Now she was cornered against the couch, eyes wide and cheeks pink.
"W-What do you want?" she stammered.
Long Yi leaned in, brushing his fingers against her cheek.
"Didn't you blow a kiss at me just now?" he said, voice low. "Don't you want me to respond?"
Han Yue's eyes widened in panic. "U-Ummmm! I was just teasing you!!!"
Then—whoosh!—she bolted up the stairs, leaving Long Yi standing there with empty arms.
He exhaled through his nose, chuckled, and stepped outside to stroll around the glowing pond.
"What a nice night," he murmured.
Part 3 — The Calm Before the Storm
The next morning, after a quiet breakfast in the water garden estate, the butler, maids, and guards packed up and left in orderly fashion, heading back to the Base as instructed.
Meanwhile, Han Yue and her team got into the car. As they pulled away from the estate, she glanced one last time at the beautiful landscape… and with a thought, the entire water garden palace along with the three surrounding hills vanished into the jade space. A neat harvest.
Secretary Wen let out a long sigh and muttered, "Drive," to Shadow 2 in the front seat.
In the back, Long Yi casually scrolled through his phone. He had been getting texts from Colonel Long, who was barely holding back laughter.
"Your bastard uncle is throwing a tantrum. Says someone 'stole his jades, emperor chair, and even his cars'—very disrespectful of you. Hilarious. Ignore that fool."
Long Yi smiled faintly, clearly satisfied to know his annoying uncle was having a terrible day.
Then a text came from Grandpa Long himself:
"Good job. Now that you stole his cars, at least he can't annoy society for a few hours!"
Long Yi couldn't help but smirk, eyes gleaming with amusement.
In contrast, Han Yue had been keeping a noticeable distance from Long Yi since "that incident" last night. Arms folded, gaze avoiding, cheeks still a little pink. She tried to act grumpy, but occasionally peeked at him when she thought he wasn't looking.
Long Yi didn't press her. Scaring off the little rabbit wouldn't be wise.
Bored in the car, Han Yue finally checked her phone—and her eyes widened.
Grandpa Long had transferred 200 million yuan to her bank account!
She was finally no longer bankrupt!
"Yay!" she whispered excitedly to herself, kicking her feet a little.
While happily scrolling, a news headline flashed on her screen:
"BREAKING: CITY H HEIST — RICHEST COMMUNITY ROBBED LAST NIGHT!"
Han Yue blinked.
"…Hehe. Just ignore it~" she thought, pretending not to know anything.
Then a notification popped up—she'd been tagged in a photo.
It was the little girl from the BBQ restaurant! The caption read:
"I gave 10 yuan to the wizard. She is no longer bankrupt!"
Thousands of comments flooded in.
"Wizard lives!"
"Alien girl got her magic back!"
🛸🛸🛸🛸🛸🛸🛸
"Return on investment: 10/10"
"When does the wizard start streaming?"
Han Yue snorted and gave the post a like. Her fame as "the wizard of poverty" had officially gone viral.
After a long drive, they finally arrived back at the Long residence.
"Back!!" Han Yue cheered internally.
It was time to finally retire again—sleep, snacks, pampering… or so she thought.
She had barely spent a day resting when she received a text from Secretary Wen:
"All personnel are required to join the new daily workout/training quota program. Non-negotiable."
Han Yue stared at the message, lips curled into a pitiful pout.
Her two cats and her bunny jumped on her the moment she sat down—they'd clearly missed her.
But her dog? That one had been kidnapped by Shadow 3 for combat training.
Long Yi had already returned to base, buried in meetings and military tasks.
Han Yue sighed dramatically.
So much for a peaceful life.
Still, deep down, she knew this was necessary.
The end was coming in a month.
She couldn't afford to be lazy anymore.
With one last grumble, she rolled out of bed and finally accepted her fate:
It was time to train hard.
