Chapter 16 - The Awakening Touch

The noise from Shen Seizan's panic had awakened everyone in the house. One by one, the household gathered around to see what had happened to Kin Ouren. The kind woman of the house rushed to bring water and gently sprinkled it on Kin's face, desperately trying to bring him back to consciousness.

Vixen Sature arrived moments later, his face pale at the sight of Kin's lifeless expression. Kin's face had gone completely cold and colorless. Fear clutched at Vixen's chest as he pushed through the crowd, his voice calm but commanding.

"Please… let me handle this. Kin needs rest. I'm here now."

He gently urged everyone to leave the room. One by one, they stepped out quietly, leaving Vixen alone with Kin. He closed the door behind them, then moved toward Kin's still body and knelt beside him. Slowly, he reached for Kin's hand and held it tight, bringing his lips close to Kin's ear.

"I'm here… my love. Please come back to me," he whispered.

His voice trembled with emotion. As he spoke, he instinctively released his Alpha pheromones—a protective warmth laced with the very essence of his soul.

Within moments, Kin stirred.

His lashes fluttered, breath catching in his throat as he inhaled the familiar scent. His body trembled, overwhelmed not just by the scent—but by the feeling. It was him. It was Banja. His Banja.

Eyes wide with tears, Kin reached out and embraced Vixen tightly. "Banja…" he whispered in a choked voice, mistaking him in that vulnerable moment for the husband he had lost once before.

Their lips met in a desperate kiss—one filled with longing, pain, and undeniable passion. Kin couldn't hold back. His Omega instincts flared, calling out for the one his soul had remembered across lifetimes.

Vixen's breath hitched. Kin's pheromones surrounded him now, drawing him deeper into the bond he had been denying for too long. It was undeniable. The heat. The pull. The truth.

In that quiet, sacred moment between two souls lost and found—wrapped in memories, pheromones, and the gravity of their past life—Kin and Vixen surrendered to each other completely, hearts thundering, breath interlaced. The night unfolded into something soft, sacred, and deeply intimate—where no words were needed, and no shadows could touch them.

Their union was not just physical—it was spiritual. A reunion that transcended lifetimes.
